I had a fantastic stay! The staff were friendly, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect. The on-site restaurant was excellent, and the overall experience felt luxurious. highly recommended, and I’d definitely stay again!

The hotel is located in the small town of Zablik next to the Tomizar National Forest Park. The view is outside the window, and the room is small and cozy. I especially recommend the hotel for dinner. The beef is very good. We ordered another serving after eating it.

The location is good, not far from the entrance of the national park. The hotel restaurant is a famous local celebrity. You need to make a reservation in advance to get a seat for dinner. The taste is good.

The hotel is very close to the lake, and it takes about 20 minutes to walk to the entrance. The hotel has welcome juice and wine, which is very considerate. The facilities are better, but the overall experience is good.

One of the points of our trip to Montenegro was the town of Zabljak with the wonderful Black Lake nature reserve. For the night, we chose the Soa hotel and this is the best choice in this place. Great place. Spacious room with fireplace. Beautiful view. Good location not far from Black Lake. Not bad breakfast. Nothing supernatural but you won't go hungry. One minus is untrained staff. The fireplace started to smoke and smoke went into the room. The guy who came from reception didn't know how to fix it.

I visited this hotel as a tour leader with a group of 25 persons, in April 2025. It is a beautiful mountain hotel but need better management. Be careful the hotel has no elevator. So, if you have mobilities issues reconsider and if you have a room in the upper floors and a heavy luggage you need assistance. I consider myself a world traveller, someone who likes nice places,including hotels. I loved this hotel. The staff was amazing, and this is what made the entire experience extra special. Amazing! I had the worst day with all sorts of things going wrong until I got to this place already a bit late at night. And then the staff was so unbelievably warm, kind, approachable and accommodating, they all made me feel right at home and made me forget about all the hard day I had. I had the best time staying here, sadly for just one night, and I can’t say enough good things about this place...

During our reservation, there was an overbooking problem. By the way, the staff offered us another (nearby) structure at lower price. They also offered us some drinks to excuse the disservice. Very kind from them! Finally, buffet breakfast was rich and tasty. So, i would definitely recommend this structure!

It is very hard to find good place to stay and eat in the mountains, hence the quality of this venue is especially appreciated. We really liked the comfy big bed, good (yet small) bathroom and the cleanliness level. The hotel’s restaurant is also very good compared to other options in the area. I would like to personally thank everyone at Black Pine for pulling off such a fantastic weekend. Had an amazing time.

We came with a tourist group for dinner. I ordered fish. Fish was different kind that it was promissed. It was dry and burn. Cucumbers were really bitter, none has tasted them before giving to customers. I paid 20eur for worst meal in Montenegro. I dont recommend this place for meal.

Myself and my partner came here for food after a long day of hiking in the national park. The portions were good, the food gave a delicious introduction to the regional food of the area. The gentleman serving us was very pleasant.

The room is quite large but there is no elevator to the 3rd floor. The hotel is 20mins walk into the town.

The restaurant staff is friendly and they'll bend over backwards to get what you want; food is great. The hotel rooms next door seem to vary in quality. We had a twin room facing the road. Without a/c it was hot and the road is noisy from early morning to late at night.

The best restaurant in Zabljak. The vintage cottage atmosphere with antique wine decoration is out of this world. The pricing is much lower than a normal Kotor restaurant. Cheese and ham omelet, hot chocolate, pan cake, sandwich, soup etc were outstanding.

They have parking in front of hotel and the hotel is very close from the center (about 10 min walking) so you dont need your car much. Beach & garden hotel. Excellent beach, one step from the room, cousine and service. I shall from now on spend part of our summer vacations there. Good for young couples with kids, also without. For the thrilling late night entertainment nearby closed towns like Budva, Tivat, Porto Montenegro, Porto Novo, Lustica Bay. Close 3 International airports Tivat, Podgorica and Dubrovnik in Croatia.

A great stay in Zablijak We arrived at a wooden spacious house with 3 bedrooms. Everything was clean and ready for a comfortable stay, including all the necessary kitchen appliances, games for kids, books and video films. The owner was welcoming and very nice!

The friendly and helpful owners have created a beautiful and comfy block house with everything you expect when coming back from hiking. We enjoyed our stay very much! Furniture was a bit old but everything was clean. There are 2 restaurants nearby. It's not far from Žabljak. Overall nice accomodation.

The hotel is ok for the price. The rooms have to be checked and renovated. The cooker did not work, and the cleaners left a dirty glass and some items from past visitors in the room.

It is about the restaurant. We loved it! Very good choice of food. Tasty, good value, freshly made dishes. Fried fish with potatoes is absolutely delicious 😋 Definitely recommend 👌 Yes, unfortunately people are smoking right there... But, overall, it is way better than everything else you can find in the area of Zabljak or Kalasin.

The staff (Boyan) greeted us in a very friendly manner and explained where we could park our motorcycles safely. He also showed me around the rooms I had booked (3) for my group. He clearly explained everything about the hotel and the menu. The food was excellent and although the rooms were a little tired they were very comfortable.

It's just a bit outside town however its still 5min ride from Zabljak. The service is great, everyone is very friendly! Breakfast is very good, not as varied as some other hotels but very delicious. We also tried some homemade pies (attached photo). We booked via phone call and got a room price of 60e per night per person, and it was free for two children as well. Also there is a children's playground...

The polar star is a little bit outside town. The view from the rooms is great, everything was clear and the breakfast delicious. The only thing that bothered us is, that the walls are very thin and loud neighbors can be heared in your room. Also the elevator is not good for people that don’t like narrow spaced or are easily scared by elevators. He seemed quiet bumby

We enjoyed the hotel and the breakfast and dinner. The only thing that bothers me is the stairs at the entrance to the hotel and also towards the elevator... In my opinion, paving or building a slope where you can drag your luggage would solve a lot for elderly or disabled people.

I stayed here for one night with my girlfriend while visiting the national park. The hotel fits in well with the local houses and other similar buildings and has ample parking to the front. All of the people we spoke to were really friendly and helpful including booking the sauna for me on my arrival and later arranging to lend something to me that I had forgotten to bring. Great time. Unique location in the heart of Durmitor Park, 15 mins walk from the famous Black Lake. The view from the bungalows is breathtaking! The weather was rather capricious the day we were there but that is its charm. Here, the availability of accommodation is perfect, regardless of the time of arrival, everything was clean and neat. Charming little bungalows with great view of Durmitor peaks, close to three lakes and with the nicest hosts! We had great time and enjoyed our stay so much we decided to extend it.

Stayed with family for a couple of days. Pleasant hosts. The child was delighted with the fabulous house. Very close to the path to the lake through the forest. Wonderful view from the window to the mountains. I recommend!

Fantastic location, very cute comfy bungalow. Pros : Perfect location in front of the mountains (yes there are houses behind the bungalows but once you're seated outside or in your bed, all you can see are the mountains, the forest and the amazing nature). Very close to the black lake and hiking roads (be careful there is a very steep path at the end which can be difficult for children or older people...

We stayed two nights in the room at the main house, big clean room, friendly and helpful staff, good food. Very nice that they have so many animals around, ecological place, relaxing atmosphere. A bit in the outskirts, but that makes it even better - to escape the busy city life for a moment. Thank you for having us!

Spent 4 fantastic days. Location in the immediate vicinity of all amenities. Each cottage has its own parking and wi-fi. The hosts are very kind, the accommodation is excellent, everything is clean and tidy. Congratulations to the Krstajic family, and especially to Andjela 😀 Highly recommended.

Great location for black lake and just a short drive from town. The owner was really helpful and friendly.

We were surprised that at this price we got a very spacious house for only two people. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. Easy access through the city center, convenient parking. In front of the house there is a table with a bench so you can spend nice evenings watching the stars. Contact with the owner was very nice and hassle-free.

We spent 2 excellent nights there in a small chalet located near the most interesting sites of the park. Our host Angela took great care of us during our stay. Remember to notify you of your arrival before being there if, like us, you do not have a telephone plan (reception not found). Note the absence of shower gel.
