Mayflower Hotel Malta

Excellent hotel well positioned for both coasts of the peninsula. Rooms are a good size and have air conditioning. Excellent food for breakfast and good but limited choice for other meals. The skydeck area, bar and pool are excellent with sun loungers in both sunny and shaded areas and great views to the sea. Staff are friendly and courteous. Great two week stay here in June 2024

Nice hotel, good location, 7 minutes walk to the nearest beach. Close to shops, restaurants, bus stops. Service nice and helpful, rooms cleaned daily. Beautiful rooftop pool. But breakfast was very poor, low quality products used, the best was salad:(

Great hotel, very efficient and helpful staff. Rooms kept very clean and well maintained. Lots of choice at breakfast. Small bar by roof top pool.
Only downside is the building sites and cranes that spoil the view from my balcony and the pool. The hotel is very well located for everything but that also means it is a very built up area.

The hotel is fabulously situated for the beach and the bus station (a short walk for both). We stayed during mid March for a week and the weather was glorious. Sadly, the pool was out of action for the entire week, and we weren't able to use it. This did impact slightly on our stay. Breakfast and the breakfast staff is amazing. Good quality and good selection.

My only slight criticism, other than the lack of the pool, is the lack of plug sockets to use straighteners (there's a hairdryer in the bathroom). There are no sockets close to a mirror. The room is also pretty dim and so trying to put make up on in the evening was a challenge! It wasn't a huge deal and the super comfy beds and great staff more than made up for it!

If there was an additional plug socket by the mirrors/TV somewhere, it would have been 5 stars from me.

Would I stay again .... absolutely!

Nice hotel, really good location right next to the bus terminal. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the only less positive thing was the breakfast, even though it’s not bad I think the quality and variety of the food could be better. The pool is awesome and the view was absolutely breathtaking.

We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. Great location, clean rooms, very nice and helpful staff, many restaurants and bars nearby. We just had quite a challenge to find a free parking spot close to the hotel, so every day we needed to drive around for a couple of minutes to find something. I am just not a big fan of the breakfast served there. It may be just the matter of my taste. I tried both the sweet and other options but the food wasn't great. In general I recommend the hotel!

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much. The location was great for Malta, the bus station is at the bottom of the road, literally a 3 minute walk and you can access the whole island from there. Breakfast was basic and could be hotter but something for everyone. The room was clean and good sized. The shower was amazing!!! The beds were so comfortable and made daily. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 was because the rooftop infinity pool was closed for maintenance. We picked this hotel for some great photo shots so was disappointed. However the sunset from the roof was incredible. It’s quiet and peaceful at night we were able to sleep comfortably. Overall, we would use this hotel again

Right in the heart of St Paul's Bay. So convenient to everything. Hotel service team are absolutely fantastic. Nothing is to much trouble for them. Rooms are good size and had everything we needed. Nice little balcony. Rooftop deck is spacious out of season but can imagine it will get busy in the warmer season. Breakfast has something for everyone. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to Malta.

We visited in January during a quiet time, and the hotel was amazing value at about 15 euros per person per night.
The pool is stunning but cold in January.
The room is cleaned daily and the hotel seems to follow sustainable practices when it comes to towels. Should you need a change of towels you can simply leave the wet ones in the shower and they will be changed.
My only complaint is that the bed is quite hard and the pillows are very hard and big, so I didn't have a great night sleep, but again, great value for the location and the condition
