Bed very comfortable and the breakfast so far so good but need to improve another food .
Had a great ambience, view and room amenities. Check in process was really fast. Staff helped us to make our bed , change our bed linings and dispose of our trash which was a plus. However, parking can be expensive. It said RM5 per entry but we end up having to pay RM10 which confused us. Shower was not hot enough and its water pressure was a bit poor. TV quality can be improved.
1. Parking : So hard to find free parking. The basement parking is not cost effective for travellers as they charge you. 2. Room carpet : Got dirty stain on the carpet. Feel dusty and uncleaned. Wish they clean properly. You can literally saw big grey spot on the floor. Not nice. 3. Room toilet : Yes the seat is dirty and disgusting. Change the toilet seat please. 4. Swimming pool : pretty basic. But...
I've stayed in two rooms. I'm not sure what type of room it is but it's in the photos I've attached. I only paid RM250 per night for the room. This room is perfect for a family to stay, they have a kitchen with electric stoves for you to cook. The room is very spacious and I think the room service menu is priced just right. This hotels seems to be a favorite for Chinese, Korean and Japanese tour groups...
nice swimming pool & i feel save with the security guard service here.
the residences rooms are all junior suites. if you are looking for privacy residences, this is the place. just don't expect room as big as they show in their advertisement. very clean. overall good.

Good friendly staff, fun excursions-mangrove kayaking, snorkeling/scuba, jungle trek to private beach/turtle rescue centre. Food is generally good though a little overpriced but drinks are unbelivable
Just went for a field visit to the Turtle Centre and the management served hi-tea. OMG the desserts were so good especially this choc pastry. Very well ventilated resort. Friendly staff.
Almost everything is fantastic! Super friendly straff great service! Very Nice rooms. The only thing not worth its money are the buffé. Go for a la carte or poolside instead...
The rooms are great, but almost all are a long, inclined walk. Buffet nights are bland and not worth the 140R, go for any a la carte instead, esp the poolside Asian menu. Nature walk and snorkel great

For the price, I suppose this place isn't bad. The location is walkable to a lot of restaurants, the waterfront and the Jesselton pier. The stay was friendly too. Do note that there is basically no soundproofing and there's a large market outside, so ear plugs are a necessity. The staff moved us to a slightly more quiet room which was appreciated but you can definitely still here a lot of street noise...
Clean but very small rooms with hard beds. Fine for a night or two.
It's a good place
Nice location, clean room, value for money But the room has no soundproof. There is evenet outside hotel and very noicy. I couldt not sleep.

I love the design of room, comfy bed and pillow. Although abit small but i enjoyed my stay so much! Location is good too, i can walk to Gaya Street & Todak Waterfront. Overall awesome place to stay!
In terms of location, it is superb. But for large number of people staying are not advisable. Price for premier king room is affordable. WARNING FOR MUSLIM CUSTOMER, the restaurant is NON-HALAL since I saw their menu - king park club sandwiches with bacon, ham and chicken. Apart from that this place is excellent with cleanliness and staff's attitude.
Very clean decent rooms and lovely staff. Hot water is a touch and go situation. Breakfast not much options really. Location ok as grab not expensive. Overall good.
It is so easy to walk around Kota Kinabalu city from this hotel. Surround by a lot of food stores, KFC just next to hotel, Hotel room was a bit small,Breakfast ok. Overall score: 7.5/10
Splendid! Great hotel, friendly staff, nicely decor, fantastic breakfast buffet, well maintain facilities and strategic location. This hotel has it all. Booked for last minute, but it totally worth it. Located in front of Wisma Shell in the heart of Kota Kinabalu. Walking distance to all the main attraction. Suitable for a night layover or even a family vacation. Totally my favourite hotel when staying...

Good place to spend time away from hustle and bustle of city life. Happy with a very good and well maintained golf course next door, a challenging course in its own character.
I must say it's been wonderful experience staying there last time. Excellent service by Ms. Vanessa who is always welcoming us and without fail entertain us through out this amazing journey. The room was very clean and tidy. Plus point for the decoration they prepared for our honeymoon was so gorgeous. The pool and beach are so beautiful, definitely worth it. Had our candle light dinner over there...
I’m a female solo traveller and staying at Nexus was nothing but best choice that I made. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing away from the city, I definitely recommend Nexus. Breakfast was so far so good (I love to try new food so it was perfect for me) and workers here were very kind and super helpful. And if you have any spare time, try Borneo spa at the resort. It is worthy.
Absolutely stunning resort, 5 stars all the way. My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights on our honeymoon and it was the most memorable and favorite part of our time in Malaysia. The service we experienced was unparrelled, the team did everything they could to make our time there perfect. It was truly so wonderful and highly recommend for anyone! Lots of kids activities, the beach was crystal clear...
When I arrived at the Resort I was impressed by the stunning views of the ocean and the resort's lush surroundings. Good place to relax. Breeze sound of the ocean is so relaxing. Other than that is not really up for compliments. Service is just fair, only two check-in staff were on duty there during 25/12/2022 check-in time and also it's the peak season day. Just imagine the waiting line will be. Even at peak and busy hours, the staff maintain excellent and professional services to all the guests. Really appreciate one of the staff, Named Aliff at the counter reception, he managed to help me with room selection when there was an error in the system when choosing a room. Amazing pool! My daughter enjoyed it to the max! And we loved the room too. The bathtub and bathtub shower was a bit wonky, but everything else is good.
The sound proof is somehow below standard you expect from a 5 stars hotel. U can hear the sound from above floor if kids staying above floor and the worst part is the bathroom. U can hear it quite clear from next room. Other than that is good
Great location hotel with great privacy, though full of tourists. Good accessibility to airport and nearest big shopping mall. Private seaside and lifestyle/resort living. Breakfast selection is great, staff are efficient in arranging the seatings and turn over of the tables despite long queue. Overall great experience from checkin, breakfast, island hopping activities.

Comfortable stay at the beach. Gorgeous view of the sea, islands, Mount Kinabalu. My 16-month old likes Kid Zone & children water-park. Staff are professional, friendly, helpful. Food, coffee, dessert, wine was amazing too!
It's a lovely hotel with spacious rooms and fantastic view of the ocean. Breakfast buffet and Saturday night buffet were good. Restaurant staff were very responsive and helpful despite the huge crowd. They looked a little understaffed with room cleaners looking tired - they didnt empty waste bins and also the bathroom didn't look like it was well cleaned. Overall a pretty good experience.
(Have not stayed at hotel) Very nice looking hotel. We were only passing by, but needed to pray and were able to use the prayer room. We really would have liked to stay here but it was a little out of our budget. However, this place looks fantastic and is an excellent location next to a clean public beach, only 5min walk. Awesome place to stay. We stayed in the Kinabalu wing of the hotel. The hotel has a private beach that only guests can use. A live band was performing at the beachfront till late. As it was Friday, the seafood buffet dinner was available, and we took it. It had a generous spread of food. The breakfast spread was amazing too. Higky recommended!
The hotel is a very comfy stay. The room was big, quiet and had very good view. All the staffs were very polite and liked to greet us every time we walk past them. The breakfast buffet was great, with good variety of food options. And the hotel is near to the beach.

TUNE Hotel is ideally located just 2 km walk from University of Sabah. I even got a student discount here and I was very happy. A pleasant stay for one night. Received a complimentary coffee and entry pass to an art gallery. The staff always smiling too and helpful. You can enjoy drinking at the rooftop bar while enjoying sunset and live music. The pool is covered so you can swim without worry of the sun even at its peak.
Spacious rooms, good service and decent food at a reasonable price point. There are many decent 5-star hotels in the area but perhaps the highlight here would be watching sunset at the rooftop bar as the sea view and direction is perfect. Stayed in a sea view room and an area for improvement would be to clean the windows as the exterior was quite dirty and hindered the viewing experience.

Good: Good location. Okay service and food. Bad: Slightly overpriced compared to other hotels close by. Ugly: Bad ventilation in the bathroom, causing black mold. Gym is pretty much not usable - strong musty smell, machines out of order (only one treadmill which does not work)

The windows at buffet breakfast restaurant are dirty and spoilt the nice view. Looks like it has been a long time didn't clean them. The food provided for meat is only beef and no chicken (only chicken sausage available. Unfair for those who don't consume beef.
The view was nice and the room was spacious. That’s it. The service were quite disappointing. The most disappointing part was the parking lot, it was very limited and inconvenient. If you are travelling with cars, would not recommend this place! Please improve the parking system. Overall is good.
Nice, clean with sea view (for now). Buffet is nice but can be better. They should be more flexible for check in before 3pm. We had 2 hrs flight, we arrived to hotel 2.30pm they didnt allow us to check in earlier. I would take down one star as the hotel prefer to save money over allowing guests to check in earlier.
My best choice of hotel. Their room is big. Theres a lot of space for kids to play. Their food is also nice. Its easy to find food in here. The best thing is, the hotel connected to the mall.
