Very clean room and the hotel staff are very helpful. The most disappointing thing about the hotel is lack of breakfast choices .

The hotel is only 5 minutes from the city centre and easily accessible using grab mostly. The room is spacious and comfortable. The breakfast is good and got many choices such as plain/chicken porridge, breads, soup and salads. But better go down early as there is so many visitors.

I’m a female solo traveller and staying at Nexus was nothing but best choice that I made. If you’re looking for a quiet and relaxing away from the city, I definitely recommend Nexus. We stayed at the Klagan for four nights while exploring Sabah and we really enjoyed our time here. The included breakfasts had a good variety and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. The windows at buffet breakfast restaurant are dirty and spoilt the nice view. Looks like it has been a long time didn't clean them. The food provided for meat is only beef and no chicken (only chicken sausage available. Unfair for those who don't consume beef.

My best choice of hotel. Their room is big. Theres a lot of space for kids to play. Their food is also nice. Its easy to find food in here. The best thing is, the hotel connected to the mall. You can enter the mall from 1st floor. No need to go out. Their staff also really helpful. They always tried their best to make the guest happy.

It was a delight to be here. Great hospitality. The resort is spread across a large area so you hardly meet other guests except for breakfast, lunch or dinner. So it feels like a private island. The hotel is in a great location, opposite the largest shopping mall in Kota Kinabalu, which is only a five-minute walk away. The B&B is also very close to the airport, and can be reached in ten minutes if there is no traffic jam.

Although the resort facilities is not as expected as 5 stars hotel but I would say the warm and friendly smile from all the staffs and crew make it very special. We had the best time in Gaya Island Resort, it was my anniversary staycation with the kids. This place is so clean and beautiful like a paradise. The staff all are so friendly. We even get free upgrade room. The breakfast have a lot of choices. The kids has so much fun in the pool. We will definitely be back. I really enjoyed the vacation, the whole food is delicious and there is a lot of variety. But the buffet for dinner is different day by day, if you want to try something on another day, then it simply may not be there anymore. There is no any shops on the territory, you can not buy snacks, sunscreen or smth what you could forget to take.

Cozy and clean room with the basic facility provided, the problems are wifi signal weak and water heater in bathroom (one of the room was not function and other room need some time to heat up the water). The beach villa was spacious and the beds were comfortable. The unit came with pool towels, outdoor slippers and other amenities.

Manukan is the most popular island with Kota Kinabalu residents. Manukan has some good stretches of beaches on the southern coastline. The best beach is on the eastern tip of the island. Offshore of Manukan are coral reefs, which is ideal for snorkelling, diving and swimming.

We really enjoyed our stay on the island and in the resort, the rooms were really spacious and comfortable. While the resort and amenities were a bit older, the hospitality was exceptional! Kudos to the staff for making our stay most memorable. The food was also really good and we thoroughly enjoyed the activities on the island.

Visited the island as a day trip. Beautiful sandy beaches, nice bar & restaurant. The only downside was the litter in the sea (plastic bottles etc), and the wet boat ride back when the weather took a turn for the worse.
