I love the atmosphere it is calm, relaxing, beautiful, serene and green. The spa treatments are the best part of the experience.

The friendly, welcoming nature of the staff aren't enough to sustain the hotel. The rooms are in desperate need of maintenance, bathrooms don't function, ACs were leaking, I paid for half board, however they didn't provide dinner. The reason being they had no WiFi and the kitchen was closed. The tennis court fence is destroyed too. Despite the wonderful location, the place is in need of desperate renovations.

2022:It used to be a special property in the city, but unfortunately it's very sad to see the state it is in today. Not well maintained. Lack of staff, pool not cleaned,

2019:This was my second visit to this resort. Very nice resort with large pool and huge gardens, with wonderful trees and flora. Breakfast was decent. The staff are lovely and eager to help. It's a family/children friendly resort.
The distances are too long, and you need to pay 5 OR to book a cycle. It must be free of charge as we are residing at the resort.
The dinner buffet was average and you need to pay extra for water. Lunch doesn't have buffet option .
Bath tub is made from bricks lined with epoxy paint.

Being during the new year. The resort is located 40 mins drive from Muscat. Mango trees, coconut trees, chikoo trees in the resort. More than 102 species of birds like Owl, Kingfisher etc found. Spotted a porcupine , Hare too. Good food and service. Flexible for breakfast🍳☕🍞 needs as per taste. Multi nationality staffs.

One of the worst „resort & spa“ hotels I have ever been to. If you like a hotel where you have to wait 20 minutes until a receptionist shows up for check-in, the room is not ready at 4:30 pm, the restaurant is closed and you only have the possibility to order breakfast to your room (which – of course - does not arrive at the agreed time and is served on plastic plates, paper cups an with plastic cutlery), the left-overs of the served breakfast are not removed from your room the whole day, the fridge in the room does not work, a completely unrefurbished hotel environment etc. – this hotel is your place!

The grounds are lovely and serene: quiet gardens and bike paths, swimming pool and spa. The rooms are adequate. The service is touch and go. They often forget to put some amenities in the rooms or there is something that doesn't work.

Very nice resort, the rooms are clean and big! You can find everything there..restaurant and bar are very cool!

35 minutes away from Muscat Airport with a taxi ride. It costs around 15 Oman Riyali. You can arrange taxi from the resort so they will pick you up anytime you want. Breakfast and dinner is included in daily rate which was 55 Oman Riyali for the time being. Hotel located on a great land. I lost my way several times between my room the lobby and the restaurant. Place is green all over the land. One pool is present but comparing the quantity of rooms available pool is very small. They serve alcoholic drinks during dinner. Also there is a good bar at the restaurant always clean and well cooled. Place is very calm during the weekdays but people say gets really crowded in the weekends. Rooms are very big and there are 2 air conditioners for sone rooms. Employees are quite polite and helpful. Also you can go and see the Gulf of Oman after a 30-35 minutes ride from the Hotel. The place is called Al Sawadi Beach. There is a fresh fish market right from the fisherman. I highly recommend if you have to stay in Barka area.

We had company event here, big ground to have events. The individual villas are really good. Pool is amazing and not to be missed. During season it’s hugely rushed but on weekdays it’s pretty available.
The greenery is maintained really well and food quality is very good. Located out of city, this makes it a place to visit.
