Crowne Plaza Muscat OCEC, an IHG Hotel

We had a wonderful event today at Crown Plaza hotel. We enjoyed the afternoon tea, good DJ , staff are friendly. I would like to thank Mrs Nikita she gave us good service and best organized for my daughter birthday. She is very excellent in customer service.

I spent 7 years in Oman between 2000 and 2007.
I loved the people and the country then and I love the people and the country today.

The Crown Plaza has been wonderful to stay at for all 48 hours with 18 hours of travel either side.

Great hotel, great service, great people. I have experienced many hotels around the world but the Oman Crown Plaza really has been exceptional.

Thank you to the team, the reception staff, the transportation staff and the restaurant staff. You would not regret the crown plaza Oman.

Nikita, the hostess at Mosaic, exudes kindness and warmth, making every guest feel welcomed. Her attentiveness adds a special touch to the dining experience. As for the food at Mosaic, it's simply exceptional. Each dish is crafted with care, bursting with flavor and presentation that delights the senses. The ambiance of the restaurant complements the culinary journey perfectly, creating a memorable dining experience. Highly recommend Mosaic for anyone seeking not just a meal, but a culinary adventure accompanied by unparalleled hospitality.

Rooms are clean and spacious. Good facilities: pool, tennis court, sauna and fitness center. Delicious breakfast with wide choice of dishes from different cultures and traditional dinners with elegant, Arab atmosphere.
Location is great for the distance from airport and exhibition hall, however quite far from the city center and beaches. Depends on your purpose of staying in Muscat. Good for business.
Hotel stuff is nice and they joke with a smile. I will not forget Hotel Manager: Tayyib, he helped me a lot at the beginning of my stay :)

Had a great time at the hotel! We were warmly welcomed by the wonderful receptionist, Maria. The room was pleasant, although the windows could use some cleaning to fully enjoy the amazing view. The Nespresso machine in the room was a fantastic addition.

The swimming pool was spacious and well-maintained, providing a refreshing experience. The breakfast offered was delicious and enjoyable. However, during our breakfast, we happened to spot a rat in the garden, which was a bit disturbing. Surprisingly, the staff handled it so calmly that it seemed like a normal occurrence. 😄 Despite this unexpected sight, I must say it was a very nice and relaxing hotel experience overall.

This is my third visit to this hotel for attending business workshops. It used to be great. The staff are still really nice, friendly, and very helpful. All of them greet you with a smile. The quality and diversity of food at the buffet is great too. I, however, had two issues during my last visit. 1. The halls are either freezing cold or very hot. It was like that all days long. I wasn't comfortable and that put a lot of distraction. 2. The mixers at the toilets don't work. They are having sensors to automatically dispense water but it requires you to move your hand in all directions to make it working. It doesn't work most of the time, but when it does, only for two seconds. The location of the tissue box is right on top of the mixer - which make it hard to take some . The bidet spray in all three toilets was not working properly and also leaking.

Room was very clean and spacious. People at the reception was so efficient and so nice. Thanks to Mr Hisham was very quick and helpful while check-in and helped my Client rep who had to cancel a booking in a different Muscat hotel of IHG group. He had done a GREAT help and words are not enough to express our gratitude to his so kind hearted action in the late hours. MANY THANKS once again

The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The pool was also lovely. We had a few small, minor annoyances though. We were unable to charge room service to the room which seemed odd, so the waiter had to bring a credit card machine back to us for a very small purchase. It is very unfortunate that non fasting, non Muslim people can not even have water out by the pool. And the very limited lunch menu which could only be served in your room was very disappointing. Charm Thai restaurant was absolutely delicious and we enjoyed everything we ordered there!

A great place for a business trip. The rooms are super quiet and the desk is spacious. I had the iftar and there was a great of delicious Middle Eastern & African cuisine the night before and breakfast the next morning. The restaurant manager was amazing. Even gave me a special mug so I could enjoy my coffee. 😊 I really enjoyed my writing here.
