The room is vlean, ikay and fair for the prive. Service at the reception quite unpolite at breakfest was super professional and very polite. Thanks at Kathrin!
The location is perfect for walking into the citycenter.

Came here for a dance festival for a couple of days. The front desk service is great and always available. The breakfast is good aswell.

As a frequent Novotel guest I was expecting a rather significant drop in quality and service. And, what a surprise - service is perfect, nice, friendly and helpful staff; nice, clean rooms with all the required amenities and a super wide choice breakfast, far above expectations. All that was showing that a lower budget vacations may also be very pleasant. Please remember there is a voucher to get 20% discount in Novotel restaurant; unfortunately I did not notice that (it is posted everywhere but well…) so maybe it would make sense to verbally inform about that during check-in since it is quite important and money saving tip.
Close to center of Katowice, very close to the Silesian museum which is fantastic.
No more fears in the future - I will always happily book this Ibis Budget again…

Overall a nice experience at the hotel. You get what you paid for but the staff was kind enough to upgrade our rooms to one of the best ones with a theme of cinema. Located centrally with good connectivity and right in front of the Silesian museum. The rooms are not expensive at the budget hotel.

Excellent location 10 minutes walk from city centre of Katowice. Surprisingly wide range of food at breakfast for 1 star hotel. Staff are very friendly and kind they will help you with anything. Hotel also has big parking space. Only bad thing we didn’t like is that there is no sockets near bed and that bathroom is not in one room but divided in toilet, shower and sink, which is right next to bed. However hotel was much better than we expected in the first place. Highly recommended for short stays.

Great hotel to stay and the hotel location is close to Spodek Arena. I wasn't expecting that 1 star hotel is so comfortable to stay. The bed is cozy, the breakfast is good with so many options available to eat even if you're a vegetarian, the hotel staff is also helpful and treat us with kindness also if you're shy do not hesitate to ask them for help they will certainly help you with something that you need.
The hotel services are very nice and super helpful , the lunchroom is quite colorful which is good for your eyes, the lobby is very peaceful, there's also a service from a woman I dont remember the name and she treat me like i was in premium class hotel.

I do recommend you to stay here.

The Staff was really nice, and did not seem bothered at all to help. Damian helped me multiple times with my keycard, before i finally realised i was using it wrong :)

To be honest, I was so positively surprised by the kindness of the personnel and the quality of service that I cannot write a truly unbiased review. From the arrival to the last day I was always met with great kindness by everyone. The front desk staff was very welcoming and helped me with precious information on getting around Katowice. Breakfast was similar to other Ibis budget experiences and I'd like to point out the influences of local cuisine, which was a highlight for me. The room was clean and warm (when I was there the temperature outside was below 0). The toilet was the biggest one I ever encountered on an Ibis budget, so this was a plus too. All in all an excellent experience. I'll certainly come back

Absolutely nothing special, but friendly, clean and very affordable option when you're traveling on a tight budget and prefer a hotel over some Airbnb or similar. Breakfast is rather basic but sufficient. Juices were quite watery, rest as expected for the price.
