Good location, nice gym and sauna, good breakfast

Very comfortable beds, good size room. Shower, sink and toilet in room. Decent selection of TV channels, most in Polish. Close to bus and tram stops that can get you into the city centre easily. Restaurant is okay. Included breakfast was more than satisfactory.

Very outdated hotel which needs renovation and refreshment. Beds not comfortable, old furniture. Definitely not so many stars as advertised. Staff was neither rude, nor friendly. Very overpriced for that quality of services. Breakfast was a mess. Not recommended.

It's OK. Looks like a castle. Most people in Poland don't speak English well and this does for the hotel personal too. So you may have to find the right person to get your message through. But it's mostly nice people.

Hotel focus was an adequate hotel for a 4 day visit to Łódź. The staff were generally friendly other than one receptionist. The rooms are spacious with large ceilings, a bottle of water is provided which was appreciated. The hotel is close to tram and bus stops and is a 20ish min walk to Piotrowska Street. Overall I’d stay again when next in Łódź.

We stayed for four days. First day everything was fine. Friendly check-in, good breakfast, our room was cleaned, clean towels and fresh bottles of water provided.
But then... we don't know what happened. The next two days our room was not cleaned. No fresh towels. We even left "please clean the room" at the door. Idk where housekeeping was? Staff at reception is very ignorant. After asking in person (phone in room doesn't work) to clean our room and bring fresh towels, no one ever did. No apologies. At check-out all we heard was "that's all, goodbye".
Rooms are ok, however bathroom needs a touch up. Shower is outdated, showerhead sprays water all over the place. There is no safe-deposit in the room.
Positive points: comfortable bed, good parking facility (free of charge, entrance through barrier), good location nearby city centre, sauna on 3rd floor, spacious room, small fridge and water kettle + teabags available in room.

What a totally positive surprise!! I usually stay somewhere else as my company has a corporate rate - but that was full this week. I chose the Focus for the location but what a POSITIVE DIAMOND I discovered. The room was huge, bed was huge, food was excellent and the service was super. Convenient things like water and a kettle with tea and coffee in the room
Breakfast was relatively limited but plenty of selection and tasty.

Considering the price-quality ratio, it's not bad. The rooms are sizeable. I would use bleach for towels, but it's not eco. However, I would bleach the towels. Good coffee and drinks, 10 EUR for breakfast in this standard is worth the price. Check the map, some attractions are quite close.

Clean and spaceous rooms, location is perfect, breakfast was good. Highly recommend. And to the receptionist that was working that night -the 5th star is for you😊 it’s easy to perform perfectly when everything runs smoothly. But it takes higher ability to run things when problems occur. Thank you for the pleasant stay😊
