Hotel Alter in Lublin

Great hotel, friendly staff and extremely nice location. Excellent rooms as well as breakfast. The nice walkable location in the old town comes at a price though, the parking lot behind the hotel is a bit tricky to find but it's okay if you do some research beforehand.

I normally do not write reviews, but I’m compelled to write this one as my massage by Rami at the Alter Hotel in Lublin was by far the best spa experience I’ve ever had in my life (and I’m not young, so had a lot of them)! Rami is a top-notch professional, he’s skilled, talented, knowledgeable, I cannot recommend him enough! His deep-tissue technique and knowledge of anatomy did wonders for my tight muscles and posture, not to mention stress: it was a perfectly therapeutic experience! I make a point now to have a massage with Rami every time I’m in Poland. You can book a massage with Rami even if you are not a hotel guest, but I would highly recommend staying at the hotel after the treatment, I guarantee you will enjoy the experience!

The hotel is very well located and a perfect base to explore Lublin from. The rooms are very well appointed, spacious and very clean. Overall very comfortable. Breakfast suited us perfectly (wide enough selection and promptly prepared). The only drawback was the noise from external air conditioning units in the car park. Even with windows closed they led to a pervasive hum that disrupted our sleep. Our room directly overlooked those units on the second floor. Other members of our party were in rooms not directly above the units, but still overlooking the car park. They reported no issues and when we visited their rooms they were noticeably quieter. The hotel staff recognised the issue but were unable to facilitate a move to another room.

The reservation was made for me by the Company I was coming to visit in Lublin. I must say that the experience was outstanding. The staff are very professional and courteous, my room was quite a size and most comfortable, even the mini bar was of an excellent standard. The quality of the food for dinner in the restaurant and at breakfast was again exemplary. Thank you so much for a most comfortable stay. I hope to stay with you again on my next visit to Lublin

The hotel’s convenient location was the primary reason we chose to stay here. My partner and I spent one night at the property, and while we arrived with fairly modest expectations, we were pleasantly surprised by the overall experience.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient, with the front desk staff demonstrating both professionalism and genuine hospitality. Throughout our brief stay, the staff remained consistently courteous, attentive, and eager to assist with any questions we had, which left a positive impression.

Our room was well-appointed, exceptionally clean, and equipped with all the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the room’s soundproofing ensured a restful night’s sleep. We also appreciated the tasteful curtains, which added a touch of warmth to the space.

Overall, we had a very pleasant and enjoyable stay, and we would certainly consider returning should we find ourselves in Lublin again.

An amazing boutique hotel in the heart of the historic old city! The staff was excellent—warm and attentive—and the rooms were exceptionally spacious, with large windows that let in fresh air. The location is unbeatable, surrounded by the charm of the historic district.

The spa, pool, and sauna were delightful, providing a perfect space to relax. Breakfast was outstanding, few but very delicious options. The Italian shakshuka with a hint of basil was a delightful twist on Israeli cuisine. Highly recommended for a unique and luxurious stay!

Great experience, we stayed there for two nights. The room was spacious, very clean, very comfortable. The service was of high quality, always available to help us. The spa zone was incredible, with the sauna/hamman, the pool.. amazing.
The location is perfect, in the heat of the city, right next to the castle.
The only downside we could find was the breakfast, the choice was a bit limited.. but that wouldn't change our mind about the place.
High probability we will come back!

Excellent hotel, very atmospheric, located in the very center of Lublin in the Old Town. Excellent cuisine, the food was really great. The service is at a high level, and the bartender Andrzej MEGA!!! .... nice, smiling, he makes fantastic drinks. I greet him very warmly :)

Charming place. The city center and at the same time silence and complete relaxation. I recommend the spa area and massages.
