Hotel Galicja Wellness & SPA in Oswiecim

We stayed in the hotel for two nights on a visit to Auschwitz. The hotel is very clean and modern. Wi-Fi worked perfectly. bathroom was ultra clean. Beds were very comfortable. The staff at the front desk were extremely helpful and spoke very good English. In the basement, there’s a restaurant that we ate at two nights because it was just that good. They had very typical traditional Polish dishes that were very some of the best meals we had on our three week trip. Service was excellent as well. The only minor drawback was it was not super close to Auschwitz so we had to hire a taxi, but it was only 25Z. Coming back from most places we just took the bus which dropped us off within 100 yards of the hotel and that was great. Just a note watch out for predatory tax drivers. Make sure you agree on a fair before entering the car or that they are using their meter. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again. The morning breakfast was fantastic and the staff also was very helpful in the breakfast room. It was great. We did get out and walked around at night and Poland felt very safe. We took buses to grocery store stores, and shopping, and walked as well and always felt very safe at night. The hotel is in very quiet part of town. I can’t say enough good.

The hotel has immaculate rooms, accommodating staff, and a fantastic restaurant. I could not ask for anything more. Quiet room, showed with excellent water pressure and hot. If you are visiting the Auschwitz concentration camp, this is a great hotel to stay at.

We went to this hotel for a classtrip and it was over all very nice. We had the room 1 that was pretty spacious even for 3 people. Only the bathroom/shower was a bit small. The food was ok and the breakfast buffet was basic but good. The best part was the hotels cat, named Luschka i believe. Such an affectionate little fluffball. As a warning to my fellow allergic people, she likes to sneak into the room 1 at night. We had the window wide open in the first night and in the morning she slept snuggeled up in one of our beds (this is our fault for leaving the window open and totally avoidable if you close it). But we let her in every night because she was just sooo cute ;)

Great stay. Excellent accommodations. Good, extensive breakfast. Nice wellness center with a wonderful sauna, etc. Good accommodations for visiting Auschwitz.

Hotel was very clean and quiet. Rooms were modern and cosy. Hotel restaurant was very nice, a little chaotic, but the food was very good and very well made. Bardzo fajne! Polecam

The restaurant is very good and has a long history. Many celebrities have been there.

The room was quiet and clean.

I am very pleased with my stay. Very clean room, nice service and I think I will definitely come back :)
