Hotel Maksymilian

So stayed three nights first impressions receptionist not the warmest of welcomes .
Hotel room was massive room 309 triple room was the size of a living room lovely. So I thought, until we realized we couldn't turn heating down it was on full blast and the weather in Poland was hot in high twenties so radiators did not need to be on. We opened windows which didn't make a difference with curtains closed to keep sunlight out. Air con was on full and only managed to get the room temperature to 26degrees. Then the trams OMG room located at front of building the trams run one every 1 minute they are so noisy the whole room shakes they run till 1am and start again at 5am no sleep for three days even with ear plugs. Even with windows closed u could hear trams so between being over heated and noise not great.

Room has no smoke alarm it's was broken of the celling

Breakfast had plenty of choice but not the best had it one day only.

I did Ask receptionist if heating can be turned off she said there is no one to do this.

The bar restaurant only opens at 6pm didn't eat there as prices were a lot more than other restaurants.

WARNING ⚠️ this is not about the hotel if u booked To go to Auschwitz please have a private transfer, coaches can't come down the road of the hotel, there was a elderly couple that booked with TUI with hotel pick up transport to and from Auschwitz and they were called the day before from the transfer company to tell them that they needed to walk 40mins to a different hotel for pick up they ended up not going as they could not walk all that way and would need to walk in a strange country at 5am to be at the new pick up point.

Hotel however is in walking distance to most things very central
