Hotel Maksymilian

Just returned from 4 nights in Krakow staying at this lovely hotel. The rooms are spotless and there's everything you need, tea and coffee facilities, safe, air conditioning, digital bedside clock and TV. Very powerful shower and always nice and hot. The beds were very comfortable and so were the pillows. The continental buffet breakfast was amazing there was everything and more you could ask for, there was also hot food too, scrambled eggs, sausages and a toaster. The hotel is a 5/10 min walk, practically in a straight line to the main Square. The staff are friendly and accommodating our luggage was stored for us on the day we were leaving as we had an evening flight and they booked a taxi for us to take us to the airport. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would definitely stay there again 😊

My wife and I stayed at the Hotel Maksymilian, we got there late, check in was easy and straight forward. We were allocated a twin room instead of a double as our holiday company had messed up the booking, the lady at reception rectified the matter and gave us another room, this room was lovely. The room had a fridge, TV, air conditioning, safe, tea/coffee making facilities, water, fridge, seating and a lovely bed. The room was clean with a separate sitting area. Although the building is old it has been modernised with excellent showers and double-glazing windows. There is also a lift. Reception staff were friendly, spoke perfect English and helpful on giving advice on local landmarks, the centre of the old town is about five-minute walk. Location wise it is ideal with lots of shops and restaurants nearby. The tram stop is also nearby. Breakfast was in the basement, there was plenty of choice of cold and hot food, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, cakes and bread. On the walls you will notice pictures of the renovation work done on the hotel. We did not use the Pizza Restaurant within the confines of the hotel as we wanted to try Polish cuisine. The hotel was lovely, it should be rated higher and thank you for a great time. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Great location, great staff, great value. Everything about the hotel was excellent. Clean, quiet, good breakfast, friendly staff. Didn't use the restaurant or bar as we were out all day but it all looked good. Very knowledgeable on attractions and tourist advice.

Very clean hotel, with really friendly staff. Lot of variety for breakfast,including cereal, yoghurt, pastries, continental breakfast. Rooms have tea and coffee facilities, a safe, and fridge with small freezer. There are lifts for anyone that struggles with stairs. We will definitely stay there again.

We’ve just returned from our trip to Krakow and this hotel was so lovely! It’s in the perfect location with only a 5 minute walk into Krakow Old Town and also has easy transport links just outside the hotel including the trams. Our room was basic but exactly what we needed for our stay, always kept really clean! The hotel as a whole was really clean too, not a spec of dust anywhere. Breakfast was included in our stay which was lovely, really nice to have the polish cuisine for breakfast but they also provided toast & cereals etc too. All the staff that we met were so welcoming and friendly, they especially appreciated us learning a little polish to say thank you & good morning! Even though there are trams right outside the hotel, we did not hear a thing during the night and was lovely and quiet! Beds super comfy too. Overall, a really lovely stay!

The staff deserves a special mention—helpful, friendly, and eager to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They even gave us fantastic tips on where to eat and what to see in the area.

Had a very comfortable stay at this hotel breakfast was fantastic room was clean and tidy staff very cheerfull and helpfull my only gripe was all sigel beds bit for three nights was no big deal .

Very worth place according to the price. We spent two nights. They have nice and healthy food in the breakfast buffet. Kitchen service is very good.
Receptionists always very helpful and very nice. I highly recommended this place.

Just returned from Krakow, I stayed at Hotel Maksymilian for 4 days, the staff were lovely and so helpful. The rooms were clean and well maintained, breakfast had a great choice with different varieties each day, my mum booked in for a hot stone massage with the onsite beauty therapist and said it was worth staying for the massage alone. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Krakow who wanted a comfortable stay with easy access to the main square. Absolutely fantastic!
