The room was spacious and the proximity to the square excellent. The breakfast was above slightly average. On the down side, the furnishings were subpar. Cheap plastic chairs and a dirty sofa that had lost all of its cushioning. The staff were typical to this part of the world, not rude but not particularly friendly. The price and the location make it a good value.

The location is perfect to enjoy the central area & the old town.
Like the other Mercure hotels, this one is well prepared; more precisely, the spacious, clean rooms, and also the linen, towels..bathrooms.
What I didn't understand is the fact that in the room we only had one pair of slippers and a bathrobe, for three people?!
I also highlight the "well prepared" bar and breakfast.
A positive point is that on each floor there is a filtered water machine (free), which can give carbonated or plain water (according to preference).
As a minus is the parking which is quite limited as free.

The hotel overall is very nice, in a good location.
What sets the hotel apart is their brilliant staff. Every staff member I met went above and beyond to help me. Due to my bad back I had to be in a wheelchair during the entirety of my stay - nothing was too much trouble for the kind staff and I will remember their kindness forever.
Strongly recommend this hotel.

Glad to return to this hotel, mainly due to its perfect location. The room was great, clean, comfortable and there was enough space for 2 ppl. The bed was amazing and I slept like a log! The reception staff was very attentive and there was nothing too much to ask. Special big thanks to the lady with pink hair for looking after us!

We loved our stay. Everyone was professional, helpful and very nice. Other hotels should follow example.. since it’s a real family friendly hotel.. on check in my kids were given 2 keys ( wooden turtle and cat ) they felt part of the check in and held on to their keys when entering our rooms.
Anna is an impeccable Housekeeper i could tell when she did our room. Breakfast 5 star, we enjoyed the local delicacies and also other delicious foods. 10/10 .
Our room was perfect for a family we had enough space to relax and for our kids to play. And the city view was exceptional.

Had a great stay while we were there, rooms were comfortable and clean
The only reason the room didn't get a 10 was the price changed from the original price given when we reserved, we selected the 'pay when you arrive' but hadn't realised the price could rise over that time. It wasn't a lot but not what we expected.

This is the second time we have visited Wroclaw and stayed in the Mercure so the hotel is meeting our expectations - very centrally located, staff friendly and helpful and hotel well maintained. Particularly loved the breakfasts - wonderful range and quality of produce, much of it locally sourced.

Perfect hotel near the Wroclaw City Center. Everything was very clean and the bed extremely comfortable. We got an upgrade to a room on the 5th floor with easy access to the top terrace. The breakfast is extremely varied (you could also make yourself waffles) and tasty food. The access to the parking and in the hotel was great extremely easy. They offer recyclable bottles that you can fill on the hallway but we would have preferred to have the minibar full (even if we know that this has been a problem in almost every hotel after Covid).

We stayed for 4 days in Wroclaw with our 4 month old baby. The room was great (although a little too warm, we couldn't get the temperature down from 21degreesC), it was spacious and had all we needed. It also had a great view! The breakfasts were incredible, definitely one of the highlights of our trip! Loads to choose from, all fresh, including honey dripping straight off the comb!! The staff were all warm, welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect for lovely walks and explorations around Wroclaw. The parking is also very handy and very affordable for a city centre (approx £15 for the 4 days total). Terrace area is nice (when there are no smokers). Didn't use any other facilities during our stay but looked into the fitness room and it all looked clean & new equipment. Overall, would definitely come back and stay here again when we are next in Wroclaw.

First off, the positives:
- very clean
- nice toiletries
- great lighted makeup/shaving mirror
- safe for valuables in room
- very nice breakfast buffet
Not so great:
- the toilet seat in our room did not quite fit the toilet so that one sat always a bit in contact with the actual porcelain toilet. A bit of a yuck factor.
- while the bathroom looked nice and the shower was spacious, the water pressure was not good. Only one setting generated a bit of pressure and regrettably that was the one with the smallest water spray, making showering or washing ones hair quite tedious.
- even though our room was on the 5th floor, we could hear the constant comings and goings of the trams outside.
- the area where breakfast was served was cold and drafty.
- the main negative factor for me were the mattresses which were way too soft and also sagging to a point were one involuntarily "rolled" to the edge. We were honestly happy to leave these beds behind.

While the hotel is in an ok location (one can reach the Rynek and Old City by foot), getting to these places is not always fun. The shortest way is to use a tunnel underneath the huge intersection at which the hotel is located. We noticed that the tunnel as well as the street on the other side were hangouts for addicts and/or homeless people of all kinds, some shaking violently and having wet themselves. We always made sure to be back at the hotel before shops closed (9 pm) so that there was still enough foot traffic. It just did not feel that safe.
Next time in the city, we would likely choose a different hotel. 3 stars, but in our opinion far from 4 stars.
