I stayed at Chada Thai Village and overall had a good experience. The staff was friendly, and the rooms were cleaned daily. I understand the climate is humid, but because of that, there was an unpleasant smell in the room that made the stay a bit less comfortable.

The location is great – close to restaurants, the beach, and other attractions. Breakfast was also nice with a good variety of food, but the coffee was unfortunately not very good.

One downside was a confusing situation on our check-out day. Check-out is at 11 or 12, and since our flight was at 9 PM, we asked two days earlier if we could stay in the room until 6 PM for free. They agreed at the time. However, on the morning of check-out, I went to confirm again, and they suddenly said it wasn’t possible. It was quite confusing and left us having to figure out what to do with our time and luggage for the rest of the day.

We thankfully only stayed here for the last part of our journey. It was definitely not a 4 star hotel by any means. We booked through a travel agency - so do your homework. It's situated very nicely & if you just looking for a place to lay your head by all means book - the beach and restaraunts close by make up for the hotel disappointment. Island hopping was easy. The food was standard. Coffee horrid. The hotel itself needs a serious make over. The pools and recliners are quite old ( don't forget to take your own towel when going to swim ). The aircon barely kept us cool. There is also a great pharmacist down the road if you happen to get the belly bug. Loved Krabi - but will book elsewhere next time.

Please , please ,please don’t waste your money by going there .. rooms are not aesthetically pleasing, bathrooms ugly. . I don’t like the fact that some staff members that don’t know English when you talk to them they just look at you then call another staff member instead saying “me no speak English “ Atleast . The cleaners don’t really clean your room they just change your linen and towels .

There’s also a 7% charge on each and everything you order when paying by card which is honestly ridiculous … we had to eat and drink outside the hotel where they atleast charge 3%.

That hotel really needs a huge revampe/renovation/ upgrade.

They said their rating is an 8 I don’t know where it comes from or was it when it was still new and fresh in the early 2000’s.

I was really disappointed

Very old hotel. Photos and see infront your eyes, definitely big different. Whole hotel environment full of mosquito. The worst is my room is a mosquito room. Can even kill a mosquito using my feet. Everywhere in the room is with mosquito mark even plaster ceiling. Request for change room, 1st told full house. I asked them come and see my room, then they change me to better room. So full house is just an usual excuse the reject guest, super bad service. The amenities are old. Toilet are old. Bathtub is weird, can't really deep your body in. Location also not strategic. The worst hotel I stay in my life and I believed we paid for 4 stars above hotel. This hotel definitely not penny my money.

Pools are quite old. Breakfast was good, the resort is situated on a street with very good restaurants. The room we were assigned looked pretty old but well kept. We felt like we travelled back to the 80s. Generally quiet, you can hear lots of banging noise from apartments around.

Nice place. Slide for kids, 3 pools. Grounds beautifully kept. There are 3 pet mongooses on the premise too. So be careful. Ones called Charlie.
