Saisawan Beach Resort

I believe that the vast majority of 5**** reviews for this Hotel are absolutely FALSE! With statements such as “the food was absolutely magnificent”????

My family and I stayed here for 1 week, the booking was actioned through a travel agency in Bangkok.
The location was terrible 1.7 km from the nearest eating places. There was a 7/11 store, but again it was a 1.7km walk in the very hot sun.
The included breakfast at the hotel was un- eatable - very poor quality and all the fried eggs were all cold.
The kitchen area did not look clean!
Hence the fact we had to eat elsewhere.
The eating establishments closest to the hotel 1.7km walk were very expensive 2-3 times more expensive than at Jomtien beach or Pattaya area.
The food and beverages served in the hotel were 2-3 times more expensive than other Hotels in Thailand and of a very poor quality. As I remember a SMALL Singha beer was priced at 150 Thai baht a ludicrous price hence why all guests need to either use grab food delivery or grab taxi to travel elsewhere.

The staff, seemed very inattentive and totally bored.
There were very few guests during the day, however coach loads of Chinese guests arrived in the evenings.
No hotel staff, spoke any English whatsoever.

The nearby beach looked like a garbage dump, plastic and building waste everywhere.
Also outside smelt of rotting fish.

The only good thing I can say about the Hotel was the kids room, which was full of attractions for younger kids and toddlers, which kept our toddler active.

Pathetic staff, manager is very rude. Swimming pool is just 4 ft deep. Very far off from Pattaya city.
Do not recommend...
