Hotel Zing

The only reason I'm giving this one star less than five is because the doors of my shower were so rusted that it was a struggle to close them and open them. Apart from that, there is nothing to complain about the hotel as it is great value for money. The Wi-Fi speed was very good. The rooms were cleaned everyday. There's a pool on the rooftop and also at the ground level. The staff was polite and courteous, and there was staff at the reception 24×7. In terms of location, it's somewhat midway between the Pattaya beach and Jomtien beach, so it was a quiet location, which was good. There's a 7-eleven right next to it and a cafe about 20 metres away. Plenty of restaurants at 5-10 minutes walking distance. So overall, well worth the money.

Great budget Hotel with rooftop and ground floor swimming pool. Location is great between main city and jomtien. Easy place to get a baht bus (10 baht taxi/pick up truck) in either direction. Would highly recommend as the location is perfect and quiet.

I have always previously stayed at Zing Resort and Spa in Jomtien. I decided to give their sister property Hotel Zing a try this trip and am I glad that I did. It started off rough but by the end was a great experience.

I was originally in room 203- I work remotely during US hours so overnight in Thailand and the WiFi my first night was awful, would not connect for longer than 2-3 minutes maximum causing me to miss work and important meetings. I had maintenance reset the router- didn’t work. The overnight staff was in my room trying to help for 20-30 minutes- didn’t work. I complained the next day and let them know if it didn’t work I would need a refund. They agreed. It didn’t work again- I asked for a refund and they declined. Which was frustrating. They moved me to 205 and everything was much better. So moral of the story if you have to work or need WiFi do not let them assign you 203.

Hotel- clean, great pools, right on the baht bus route, easily accessible, great location, cute restaurant in lobby- everything you could need 5/5 stars

Staff- the real stars are the staff. There was a Trainee there during the day and he was so kind, always smiling and has an incredible attitude. The overnight staff that tried helping me were also amazing and did their best. Really appreciate them. The manager who denied the refund and moved my room was also very nice, helpful and checked in after to make sure things were better. 5/5 stars for staff

Excellent service from the staffs from front desk, housekeeping,buffet staff always welcoming and greet you during my 16 nights of stay. Most catching my heart moment is that the kitchen helper assist me to bring my luggage from lobby area to my car,so touched by this. Valued for money and there's nothing bad I can say about this hotel. My top choice hotel when I visit Pattaya again.

I stayed here for 2 days during my trip to Thailand.

Pros:
-All major attractions of pattaya are very close.
- On the main road and has easy connectivity.
-Lot of food joints nearby
-Extremely courteous and friendly staff who is ready to help you with a smile on their face. Very welcoming.
-Has a clean pool and cozy cafe.
-Has a spacious waiting lobby.
-There is a separate smoking area.

Cons:
-You can't checkin before 2 PM.
-They will ask for a REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT of 500 Thai Baht along with your booking amount upfront. They will return this deposit once you check-out and they are satisfied with the condition of the room you have used.

Overall a good experience 👍
