Stayed here as a family of 4 with two kids. Excellent location to the beach and nearby restaurants. Staff very polite, courteous and always helpful. We stayed in a room with a sea view which was beautiful. Only downside is the number of steps to reach the room. However this did not ruin our stay but just something to be mindful about when booking. We absolutely loved our stay here.

The best part about this hotel is definitely the 2 swimming pools absolutely massive and very beautiful.
The hotel rooms themselves are good but not outstanding.
The staff are all friendly and always ready to help.
The restaurant has nice food and you can order food to your room I found the prices for food a little bit expensive.

Stayed for 8 nights. Really nice feel to the hotel via the staff very much sincerely keen to help and assist whenever possible. It’s on a steep hill so the higher up you are, the more likely you have to navigate a couple of lifts. Modern enough for price point and very convenient to the beach and other well situated bars/restaurants. Pools are good and we found the kids club (and attendant) very handy. I gave feedback around the room being a bit hot first thing in the morning but that could just be my own lack of acclimatisation. I also suggested a little fix up and books etc for that space. Pools are good and the food is about the same quality as other places nearby. Also worth mentioning, great sound proofing.

Had a great 3 night stay. Clean rooms and kind staff. The hotel has perfect location to walk around the shops at Kata Beach and easy access to the beach itself. Huge rooms and comfortable bed.

Chanalai Garden Resort was grand, both in aesthetic and in size. From the hotel entrance to our rooms, my friends and I had to walk quite a distance and take three elevators. While other guests might have an issue with this, I welcomed the stroll. Our rooms were spacious enough and had a balcony with a good view of the beach. The swimming pool was a good place to swim and relax.
The service was great all around. During our arrival, my friends and I had welcome fruit tea and ice cream and both were delicious and refreshing. The receptionists, pool bar server, and housekeeping personnel were all very warm and hospitable.
The location was very convenient. The beach was just across the road from the hotel. Many restaurants and a night market were within walking distance from the hotel as well.

Our stay at Chanalai Garden Resort was wonderful! The location is perfect, just a 2-minute walk from Kata Beach, making it very convenient. The only minor issue was the number of stairs we had to climb to access our room, but it wasn’t a big deal for us, and the staff were very helpful in carrying our luggage. The staff overall were friendly, and one staff member, in particular, helped us find a tour to Phi Phi Island—he was especially kind and helpful. We had a great experience and would recommend this resort for a relaxing beach getaway

This is the best hotel on the island. I have been living on the island for a while , and I haven't met such a service as here.
All of the people were so kind and thoughtful. It is difficult to find vegetarian food too, and there it is. It was tasty .
Rooms were very clean and comfortable.
The hotel gave some fruits and drinks as a greeting gift. I appreciated ice cream on the Chek in so much 😋
I am very grateful to everyone who made my vacation so enjoyable.

Enjoyed our stay here with family. Staff were professional and courteous. Felt right at home! Hotel also provides local inspired petit fours during turn down service which is a nice touch. Kata beach is right across the resort making it easily accessible. Tons of restaurants around along with currency exchange places and 7Eleven. A great choice for anyone visiting Phuket!

Visited from England a couple months ago and I’ve been meaning to write this review for awhile. Staff were absolutely amazing I fractured my foot while staying here and the staff were extremely helpful and caring they had me an ambulance in minutes and carried me all the way down to reception and I’m a large man I just thought it was amazing how caring and helpful they were!. Also the hotel is absolutely beautiful brilliant food and lovely rooms also cleaning every morning and lots of tv channels in the room. Also the location was very nice right on the beach with a great range of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Probably the best Hotel and location I’ve ever stayed great work guys!

Great location, but not worth the money.
We got a room with a sea view which was super nice but we had to hike up the entire resort to get there. It was exhausting get back and forth. Our room was a bit crusty moving in and once we found some weird liquid on the toilet this was after we got housekeeping. I feel that the service lacked because of the amount of rooms serviced, it was a grand operation and felt like there was very few staff. Moreover, we had asked to cancel a few days earlier due to a family emergency and staff wasn't very helpful and we ultimately lost the money we spent. Next time, if I was to spend this much money I would probably opt for a better resort on the beach or something.
