But once we arrived, we were told that our room was actually on the other building, which is not beach front (in has a street in between). They should clearly state this in the booking details

Overall the amenities are very nice, but everything on the building that is on the beach front is better (even the breakfast)

The breakfast is dedicate, the room is big and comfy, I would love to stay here again next time

We booked a garden view room, under the assumption that it would be at the beach front hotel (just looking to the garden rather than the beach)

I understood later that he wanted to check if I stay in the right wing, but man!! Attitude change and a smile would be much more welcoming!!! And while I was waiting for my check in time, I was walking around the resort to check it out, another security guy screamed at me with a question what's my room number, and of course I didn't know, he scared me with his angry look on his face and seemed like...

I understand that they are doing their job but for the comfort of guests either the system should be changed or the attitude of this guys. I was not expecting to experience such a stressed vibes in a 5 star resort

Nice hotel overall. Great location and friendly staff. The only downside was that the room didn’t come with an iron, we had to go to a room at lobby to do ironing there. Still, a decent stay for the price.

Kids loved the hotel. Nice rooms. Big breakfast buffet. Good snacks at the pool bar. The pool water was a little cold and the tiles are very slippery. Kata beach is crowded

Great location, great for family with young kids, staff were all friendly and helpful, room was great. Just had a small issue with ants , but room service cleaned up and sorted. All in all a great stay there

We visited during the rainy season for a family vacation, and the resort catered very well to families with young children. The water park was well-equipped, and there were plenty of activities available for all ages

The pool area is gorgeous and great to relax in how ever the room we got was nothing I expected. Two singles beds pushed together. Mattress so worn with no back support what so ever, my wife and i woke up sore everyday

Lots of steps and steep ramps with no handrails. Breakfast was very average, same every day. Shuttle bus only one way to Kata beach, about a 15 minute walk back, lots of markets and restaurants on the way

Great, central location to food, beverages and shopping. Unfortunately, due to a hotel across the road, you do have to walk around to get to the beach which is about 10min depending how fast you walk

Supposedly this hotel is a 4-star. I guess that varies from country to country. The pool-access rooms are cool in concept, but the loungers you're given haven't been cleaned since the 90s

Stayed here on a family vacation, the rooms on the first floor have great pool access, and the hotel is really close to the beach which is nice as well.

We stay at the newer building, so the room and furniture is new, everything works well. The location is near the night market but quite distant from the beach, but if you rent a motorbike it is not a problem

It was dark and a bit shabby looking. Bedding was clean but not very white. The balcony was awful dirty with very uncomfortable looking chairs and table. We also had a mummy cat and her kittens in our balcony most days

The room amenities were great! I had fresh complementary glass bottled water every day, the room cleaning service was fast and thorough and If my room wasn't available to be cleaned at the time they came round I could rearrange it for when I was out on a day trip or using the gym or swimming pools

We were honestly a little bit frightened when we got here (because it was pitch dark all around due to an outage) but when the lights came back on, boy was it beautiful! We arrived to Kata Garden Resort and was pleasantly surprised. It was better than we had expected. We were not wanting a 5 star hotel, we were looking for a hotel that felt like the real Thailand
