Chanalai Romantica Resort - Adults Only, Kata Beach - SHA Plus

From the very first moment we arrived, til the moment we checked out, everything was absolutely perfect. We arrived 3 hours early expecting to leave our bags and walk around, but they already had a room ready for us and allowed us to check in early, AND let us check out late all at no extra charge. The staff are amazing, the best service I’ve had anywhere. The rooms were stunning and quiet, aircon running all day, and their daily clean up was great. The food is also really good, and the resort is very close to the back, the night market and plenty of restaurants. And the best part (for us at least) - no kids allowed! So the pool was always quiet and relaxing, with drinks served right to you from the poolside bar.

Zero complaints, 11/10.

The location is great (if you rent a motorcycle - it is available right outside next to the hotel - it is even better, if you can) location close to all the major attractions in Phuket.

Nice big clean rooms in the heart of Kata beach. The staff are very caring and will go above and beyond to make your stay pleasant.

The breakfast is good and has a big array of options. Highly recommend Chanalai 👌🏻

We enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were very spacious, nice and clean. The pool was very nice. The staff was extremely attentive and accommodating. The location was pretty good as well, but a bit busy and loud (which I guess should be expected in Phuket). The breakfast was okay, but not amazing. The room service was pretty decent. Overall, it was a good place to stay, I think if we returned to Phuket though, we would try to stay in a quieter area.

This review is actually for the food stand out front. If you are looking for a quick bite to take back to your hotel, this is perfect. They have big pork, beef, and chicken kebobs grilled while you wait. Served with a dipping sauce and a side salad. Stop by the minimart or Cafe Amazon next door for a drink and you are all set.

We stayed at Chanalai Romantica as part of our honeymoon and stayed in one of the Executive suites on the ground floor with balcony access to the pool.

It was everything we could have asked for in a resort. The location is beautiful, the pool is a highlight of the resort alongside the pool-side bar. Staff are very friendly and always happy to help.

Another plus is the exclusion of children as guests which makes it a good spot for couples wanting somewhere quiet and romantic (it's in the name!)

My partner and I stayed here for a week in February, and it was so great. The place is so intimate, drinks and food were great and our personal highlight were how helpful the girls at the front desk / concierge were so kind and helped us book all of our adventures. They made the stay so great!

5 Star service, all the way from the front desk to the cleaners. Beautiful room, very comfortable, super clean, great location, 8 min walk to Kata Beach. The room is very quiet even though it is on a main road. The breakfast has great options or western and eastern choices, fresh juice and decent coffee. The Wi-Fi was amazing all around the hotel. The pictures online are very accurate.

Eye (hotel manager) is amazing! She helped us with everything. The rooms are nice and I highly recommend the swim up rooms. The service is top notch. The people working at the hotel are all spectacular. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Phuket.

I ended up with a health issue not related to Thailand and not only did they make special meals for me but they even made a get well sign for my room. My husband and I truly appreciated the service, care and concern. Housekeeping was very friendly and did a good job of cleaning. The only thing I would add is if you like music by the pool, bring your own speaker. Also, the pool needs to be deep cleaned to keep it beautiful. Otherwise, everything is just perfect.

Book on the hotels website for better deals. We did and got extra discounts for doing so. Also, any tours you want, the hotel will handle for you. We did the Phi Phi tour and Eye booked everything for us. It was wonderful.

This hotel is not on the beach and it’s nice because we didn’t come for the beach. We visited the beach but didn’t hang out there. Phuket is very busy. If you only want to be on the beach, you may want a hotel on the beach. It’s busy otherwise. We however, loved the Chanalai Romantica and would come again! Just wrapped up our Thailand trip with a bang at Chanalai Romantica in Phuket and, wow, did it impress! Here's the quick scoop:

Perfect Spot: Right smack between Kata Beach and the city. Beach? Short walk. City vibes? Also a short walk.

Rooms & Service: Top-notch. Comfortable, clean, and just what you need for a chill stay. The staff, especially Miss Pitt, are stars. They're all about making your stay special.

Food: Breakfast here is a winner. It's a tasty mix of Thai and international dishes that'll have you skipping the snooze button.

The Extra Mile: They helped me pull off a surprise birthday for my girlfriend with a free cake and sparkling wine. Talk about service!

Long story short, Chanalai Romantica isn't just a hotel; it's an experience. Great location, fantastic staff, delicious food, and all at a price that'll make you smile. Would recommend it in a heartbeat!
