Dome Resort SHA Plus

We only stayed 2 nights in this place, and the best was the check out.
We informed the hotel that we would be arriving around 1 p.m., and we were told that we could check in only if the room would be ready. Fair enough.
On our arrival, we did not get a smile or a positive welcome. 1 woman didn't bother to stand up or even say hello, and the other one only said, " Room not ready, come back at 2"

The dome has no shelves or wardrobe, so we had to have all our luggage all over the floor.
Curtains don't close properly because of the TV and have hooks missing.
The bathroom was full of mosquitoes and cobwebs full of dead mosquitoes.

The pool has not been cleaned as it had leaves and sand on the bottom.

On the following day we went for breakfast, nice variety of food.
When I was getting my food, I looked to the kitchen and saw a woman (staff) pointing to her head, laughing, looking at me, and calling the others.
After that, another staff member joined her and both laughing. This woman would not stop pointing to her head and calling 2 more staff members.
I had a brain tumour several years ago and have a quite big and visible scar at the back of my head, and this was the cause of the laugh.
I had a word with one of the staff while my husband went to the reception yo let them know what was happening. They were useless.
I sat at the table, shaking and in an enormous state of nerves as I had never been treated like that and made me feel like rubbish.
My husband came back, and another man told him that the manager was sitting having his breakfast. He came to me apologising for the situation but kept saying that probably I didn't understand what happened and his staff would not have such behaviour.
I left the restaurant because my plate was ready to fly against him.
Minutes later, he went to our dome with the woman for her to apologise, but he kept saying that she was talking and laughing about the food.
I explained everything again, and he said that he would investigate and would like to offer free breakfast on the following day delivered to our dome.
On the following day, we got a letter confirming that I was right and the staff have admitted it.
This situation has destroyed the end of our holidays. I never lived a situation like this.
So if you want to stay at this place, make sure you don't have visible disability or scars as you will be judged and laughed at.

The worst Kata hotel.

If you are used to vacation in the country with a bottle of vodka, then this hotel will suit you really - old cottages with rickety doors. What are the three stars - only two at a stretch.
This is the worst hotel on Kata Beach - I can with confidence to prove after the third trip. Not surprisingly, the Russian on arrival immediately begin with grief thump. And a deposit at the hotel only to compensate for the damage that would be after a night uproars. But there is something to compensate - regularly hit the window.
In the morning the hotel envelops the smell of sewage - is a river skunk. it is the shortest way to the beach. But to swim at Kata Beach after a walk you will not want to - just go to Karon. By the way s and all the surrounding hotels stink too.
A ragged and dirty bedclothes at all in this hotel can not be surprised.
In fact it is three hotels in one – “Be My a guest” across the street, dilapidated cottages and
multi-storey building with a swimming pool.
Some tourists could soon abandon the bungalow and moved to a normal room. It managed to us. We have long and hard search of the old fund with a small refrigerator full of ice and with much persuasion we were given a normal room, but next to the bungalow, where we watched the life of summer residents.
A special story about reception - simply absent which is not typical for Thailand. The girl barely speaking in English comes after 11-00 and goes to 17-00. According to Russian here no one speaks. So what about the beach towels and umbrellas you must sure – nobody will give them to you. One person will fry you an omelet, then he will be on duty at reception – it is an acute shortage of staff.
The rooms are cleaned every day, breakfast is normal.
Try to find a better hotel on the -even on 100- $ 200 more expensive,
Booking of this hotel cannot be acceptable.
