Play Poshtel & Cafe'

An amazing place to stay in Krabi! We stayed one night before heading to the islands and it was perfect. The dorm room beds were comfortable and the entire place was clean and inviting. It’s a quieter part of town so you’ll need to walk or get a Grab to find more activities.

A lot of mixed emotions with this review. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Play Poshtel, which featured a spacious room, comfortable armchair, separate shower / toilet bathrooms, and friendly staff + cleaning crew.

However, the older balding gentleman up front lied to me upon check-in, saying that there were no hostel beds available for my friend, and that there’s a 300 baht DAILY fee to separate the large bed into two twin beds. We declined the charge and did some quick googling.

Turns out, a few mins later, his hostel bed was booked, and the older gentleman embarrassingly showed my friend his bed.

Amazing experience but the dishonesty has cost this place a star.

Loved staying at this hostel maybe my favorite hostel out of all the ones I've been to! Very laid back and very welcoming people with super comfy big beds with tvs in your bed area. Super glad I stayed here I even extended my stay!

2nd stay here when transiting through Krabi and needing somewhere close to the Airport to spend the night. This is the best boutique hotel I have ever stayed at especially for the price. The place super clean, rooms are spacious (ours has 2 beds and a bunk bed), great amenities, a restaurant and a great staff. The hotel is super affordable, but is honestly run like a 5 star resort from a customer service perspective. Definitely recommend.

Stellar!!!! I’d read the glowing reviews, but was still amazed at how great this place was. Nice surprise - room was bigger than it looks online. We got a room with a bunk bed and double bed that they said sleeps 3 but the bunk beds are doubles (not twins). Would sleep 5 or 6 comfortably - glad we didn’t pay extra for a bigger room for our family of 4. Strawberry smoothie and waffle were delish.

This is hands down the best hostel I’ve ever stayed at. It may be a little out of town in Krabi but it’s worth it. They’ve really thought of everything. I’m in an 8-bed mixed dorm. The beds are those capsule beds and inside the capsule is a TV. They provide you SONY headphones. There’s 2 showers and 2 toilets, SEPARATE from each other. There are big lockers for your stuff and there’s 2 set on hooks in your capsule. And there’s drying racks for the clothes you wash. It is the first hostel I’ve been in that feels like they’ve really thought of everything :) I will stay here when I come back to Krabi.

My stay at this hotel in Krabi was simply superb. The rooms were generously sized, boasting three large beds that provided ample space to unwind. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, ensuring that every aspect of my stay was delightful. The hotel's prime location made exploring Krabi's wonders a breeze. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a memorable, comfortable and budget-friendly stay in Krabi.

Absolutely wonderful. Been traveling little over one month and this was the best accommodation I’ve been to. Extended our stay and ended up staying here for 2 weeks.
Brand new building, sparkling clean, nice bedding, good AC, great water pressure(did bring personal shower head), big TV with Netflix and youtube, and last of all, all the staffs here are just amazing. They are super helpful and friendly, they always try their best to provide the guests everything they need. The hospitality is just so wholesome.
For the price? This place is absolute must. If you are planning to rent a motorbike and want a peaceful place to stay, this is the place for you. Definitely will visit again.

Really professional and very clean and hygienic. Spacious rooms and neatly designed building with access to amenities. Very convenient to rent bikes and roam around as the service is provided by the hotel itself. Another plus is availability of board games as well to have a nice time with your near and dear ones. This place was totally worth it. Ended up extending our stay by another 2 days 😇
