Where to stay in Krabi City

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 3 nights, it’s a 22 minute walk to the beautiful night market. Amazing bed, very good service from nice people. This was a great hotel find in the middle of busy Krabi. We needed a place to rest and relax for a few days before flying out and this hotel was perfect! They upgraded our room upon checkin and the process was smooth and efficient. The room is very comfortable and impeccably clean. They provided dishes and cutlery whenever we needed for takeout in the room. Very pleased with our stay!

This place is everything you need, stock up on a calorie dense breakfast #1-3 enjoy the fruit and baked goods. Staff communicates well and always smiling Rent a motorbike they’ll bring you one. It is a 5 minute cruise to the river wall and check out the living room while your there. 20 minutes from the long boats to Riley. Plus it’s really clean. Top notch

Close to the night market. Rooms were OK, not great but big. Bed was fine. Shower was not good. I expect more for the price. I would give 3.5 stars if I could.

A real value for your money! Clean and nice room. The best bed I slept in for weeks (which says a lot in Thailand), fridge and aircon with a good temperature. Just a few minutes from the night market, restaurants and 7/11. I really recommend it as a budget hotel!

Rooms are great for the price, good location, great service! If thinking of renting a scooter / motobike, consider renting from them, great support in case of breakdown or accident!

Very great value hotel away from the crowd but very close to action. Also you can book tours, right in front of the entrance.

Everything you want they have : - comfy beds - blackout curtains - bath tub - hot water - 1L of water per night you stay - elevator - close to food (even vegan) - AC - mini fridge The ONLY bad thing is their internet. It is awful, you cannot expect to work from here or anything else. If you read this review, please do something with your internet!!

The staffs are very kind and helpful, Location is good , in the center of Krabi Town , Only they don't have hair dreyer and the TV channels have only main channels , not many choices But overall is ok and value for money

This is our go-to hotel chain for cheap overnight stays when we are on the road. Same room layout, nice rooms, very small balcony, cheap and cheerful. Also this one is very handy to the pier to Phi Phi, so if you arrive in Krabi the night before en route to Phi Phi it's a good option. Food market and 7-elevens in walking distance.

Grand Hotel, Krabi is a great budget hotel to spend a night or two in. Decor is aged and is in desperate need of an update, however the rooms are clean and tidy. The staff are friendly and helpful. If one is on a budget this is an ideal spot, a room with fan cost 400 Baht, an AC room will set you back 600 Baht.

Nice hotel and well located. The staff is friendly and gives recommendations. Unfortunately, the roof is not accessible besides for breakfast and lunch and looks rather snobby.. Also, you can see the prepared food in the windows that they will still sell the next day… Also, no shower or late checkout is possible which is unfortunate if your flight from Krabi is only in the evening…

We were living in this hotel for 6 days. The first day we slept VERY porly, because we got a room by the road. And the window is not sealed at all, you can listen to loud cars and bikes all night. The room is clean. No coffee making facility but if you fancy a hot drink at night, 7-11 just opposite the road. Further down the street just a stone throw away, there is a dimsum restaurant.

A good place in town, near 7-11, just beside the road. You can take the local bus to AoNang at the opposite road.

Being a very small hotel it was so peaceful to stay there, the only drawback was that the rooms only get serviced every second day but they replaced with clean towels for me every time they serviced. The hotel has a very modern look, exactly like their pictures. Some features should have been in the room; like a wardrobe, room flip flops, and maybe a dental kit. Overall, the staff were really helpful, they even let us store our luggages for a day extra, as we left the island for one day.

The room is exactly like what they show on Agoda. Please note that there is NO wardrobe and safety box in superior room at all. They also didn't provide us the flip flops, which is kinda strange to me but maybe it is a nornal thing here? The water is warm enough, the staff is friendly. They provide new water bottles everyday. We didn't ask for room service so I'm not sure if they provide new towels...

Nice hotel near to the night market. Very clean room with a nice bath. The pool is very nice and quiet. You can pay 200 THB for breakfast if you want. For a security there needs to be 1000 THB or credit card just for info! When you check out the rooms will be controlled if everything is okay.

Pool area is great. Rooms are clean and spacious with aircon (very NB). Staff are friendly. I would have liked more options for on-site food and drinks (options are limited and a bit pricey). But overall a fantastic stay, would recommend. There is also a daily free shuttle into town to the night markets etc.

Good, nice room, clean but cannot explore too much because its quite far to community area hard to find food or shop but the place is very private comfy and relax. At least there is 1 tasty Dimsum restaurant in front of the main road which serve breakfast and lunch.

The room was good and clean. Shower head was broken so did not stay on the hook. Noise travelled fast from other rooms. All in all it was worth the money, just bits and pieces should be updated.

We only stayed the one night due to a flight the next day. But this is a super clean, new hotel. Our room was great and it probably had the comfiest bed we’ve stayed in so far in Thailand! In my opinion, this is the perfect hotel for this price. Great location, friendly staff and the room has everything I want from a simple hotel room: good desk and chair, some storage space, a rack for suitcase and a balcony with nice chairs, table and drying rack. If I ever want to pay this amount of money, or even more for a hotel in middle of town, this is exactly what I want to get.

Been a really nice hotel to stay in. We have been here for a week and the room was regularly cleaned and we were looked after by the friendly staff. The room was very spacious, clean and had a hot powerful shower (super important in my view!). There wasn't a hairdryer or a kettle etc but this is something I don't need but some others may prefer. For the price paid I would give this 6* if I could!
