I was allocated a bunker room (3 beds 1 person) which seemed excessive and it was 50% more expensive . The other surprise was I was asked to pay a key deposit of 500 thbt . No mention of this till I arrived at hotel

Good night, good sleep even though it’s close to the night market.

The hotel is quite clean for a 2 star hotel. Just that it’s a little dark along the hallway. And the water doesn’t flow very well in the drainage. The door lock is the old school type with keys and didn’t look very secure. Aircon was super cold, great after a day out in the sun.

The Thai Hotel seems updated, clean sheets, bed, bathroom. One perk is the fitness gym next door (hotel guests can use). The room smelled like sewage although the bathroom was fine; The A/C is ancient. And my room 307 had no wifi signal.

It’s a little out of the town center but I enjoyed the walk along the river to the park every morning. It is near the night market. The rooms are separate from the reception area. There is no kettle in the room but they have free hot drinking water in reception

Not bad, the location was near to night market just a 5min walk to the main areas everything was ok, the room wasnt that big but its okay for a night stay just to sleep and rest kind of room. The bed was comfy really.

Showers and rain showers. The water flow is not strong and the water does not come out in every hole. The water comes out in different directions. It may be scale.

Stayed here to rest on our way to phuket. A walking distance to my favourite night market in krabi. The hotel is concisted of a few blocks with ample free parking spaces. It felt secure and quite easy to access and find. The bed was comfy, the toilet has decent water pressure. There were no plastic in the trash cans inside the room which felt weird but its fine for a short stay.

The room and quality are rather on the weak side compare to the price paid. The room is very old. There's no elevator and makes it difficult for people to stay on the second or third level with luggage.

Good place to stay, near to airport but far from the city. Tiger Cave temple is only 1 km away.

In walking distance to the Tiger Cave Temple (20 min). Large rooms and AC but no mosquito nets so better keep windows closed. There is not much around beside the temple but you can take a Grab or Motorbike to get around - some cheap Thai street food nearby (20 THB). Great budget hotel in Krabi. Rooms were spacious and had comfortable beds. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. They worked hard and helped us feel welcome and at home. Tea and coffee in the morning but no breakfast. Nice location in Krabi town close to the night markets and other restaurants.

It's not a hotel, nor does it have anything to do with it. It's like a hostel. We stayed in a room with 2 bunk beds, and it was not as shown in the photo. There was no table or place to sit (other than the beds).

It's suitable for spending the night

We stayed in the fong krabi resort for 2 nights and the stay was pleasant as this resort is away from hustle bustle of the city, because of that it's quiet but if you want hustle bustle around you it's not for you but we kinda liked it. Great no frills hotel near the airport and bus station. Recommended if you have a flight next day. They gave a scooter for 300 Baht and provided airport transfer for 300 Baht as well. The pool is nice and clean. They do NOT have amenities like Dental kit, shaving kit etc but there is a 7-11 nearby. The bed in a little springy and dated so that can be improved. Overall had a good time.

Location is right near the main road. The highlight of the area is the staff,they are the sweetest people. They helped arrange us cab on short notice so that we got our flight on time. They also arranged scooter for us for sightseeing. They have good greenery in the area.

This was the best place we could've stayed to spend our remaining days in Southern Thailand. Easy access to Krabi town, airport, Au Nang, Wat Tham Tiger Cave. The staff is super attentive and promptly presented solutions to any issue. I loved to sit by the pool at night and be immerse in the sounds of the animals in the surrounding area.

It was worth it for what it costs, beds and pillows were not very comfortable but it was okay if you are not planning to spend all day there. There is no food or drink available during the day or in the evenings which was a bit of a disappointment, only breakfast was available at a extra cost. There is also quite a large swimming pool which was a good feature.

The room is very spacious, the bed is soft, the air conditioner is very cool, the transportation is very convenient, it is close to important places, close to places to find food, the parking is convenient, the room is clean, I will definitely come back to stay again when I have a chance.

It was a cheap hotel, out of the way of most things/tour pickups in Krabi. The bed and pillows were so uncomfortable and left me with a sore neck. I wouldn’t stay here again despite the cheap price.

Horrible place. It is expensive and far from everything. It's a big block of cement, inside and out, and at night, it looks like a ghost town. Hardly any lights to see where we are going. Will I stay here again? Hell no.

Rooms are fine, everything you need. But the facilities are super basic, you can get a drink from the fridge that’s it. Staff speak zero English and location is not great, only recommended if you have a car or bike at your disposal. Then you’re in the center in minutes.

On January 25, 2025, I was looking for accommodation in downtown Krabi and came across this hotel. I asked the receptionist if there were any rooms available for 6 people, and there were 2 rooms left. The lady staff (Name is MO) who was on duty made every effort to assist us in securing a room for the night. I would like to express my gratitude to her for her excellent help and service.

I had such a peaceful week at Krabi Orchid. The quiet of the city made it the perfect spot for a mid-travel break and a chance to recharge. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the staff were really friendly. Best part was the location — food markets and night markets were literally seconds away, which made it so easy to enjoy Krabi City while still having a calm place to return to.

Have stayed before, as per my review 2 years ago. It looks like it’s had a lick of paint since then but nothing else has changed. Good size room with balcony, fridge and ac, clean, central, good service from staff, good price. For a budget option in Krabi town you can’t fault it and I’ll definitely use again next time I’m here.

On the downside, room lighting was poor, bathroom sink was blocked and balcony door lock was broken. Some people might not like the dogs that inhabit reception area. Very good value for the price! The rooms are clean, the maid service took care of our room daily, the front desk was friendly and helpful. The only thing to improve on is the insulation of the walls.
