Baan Thai Lanta Resort

We loved our time at Baan Thai Lanta. It’s a haven of peace right on the beach, the rooms are beautiful and have character, so you don’t feel like you’re in a generic resort. The gardens are gorgeous and there are heaps of sun beds. Even though the resort was full during our stay, it never felt crowded. All the staff work so hard and were delightful.
There are plenty of bars along the beach serving decent food, where you can kick back and enjoy the sunset. We were sad to leave and will definitely return.

Simply magical! This is my #1 choice in Koh Lanta. The grounds and hotel are meticulously, lovingly maintained and the gardens are simply spectacular. Spacious and pristinely clean cottages with comfortable beds. Private beachfront, lovely pool, terrific and reasonably priced restaurant. Everything is so lovely and elegant! Very helpful front desk that arranges anything you need. We loved this place and are eager to come back. Note: beach is nice for bathing but not snorkeling.

We booked this hotel on a whim as previous plans fell through, and there were very limited options left on Koh Lanta. So the hotel choice was more out of availability than our specific choice, so I wasn’t too sure what to expect. But I was really happy and the hotel exceeded the expectations we had.

We had a villa room and it was lovely and spacious, bed was comfortable and the whole resort was peaceful and we never heard any noise at all. The pool area while small was very pretty and we often had the whole area to ourselves.

Again breakfast was a pleasant surprise, really enjoyed the omelettes and the iced coffees they made us each morning. Staff were super friendly and couldn’t do enough to help you, even gave us a little gift when we checked out.

The location on Khlong Kong, while not the prettiest beach, was a really chilled low key vibe with a pretty atmosphere in the evenings and tons of options for food & drinks. The town area also had everything you needed if you didn’t have a scooter.

The only real negatives we had were regarding the bathroom - the shower could be temperamental with the hot water, and there was a little ditch before the shower entrance that was a bit dangerous; we both fell in it daily so keep an eye out for that! The other issue was there was no real natural lighting in the bathroom and it’s where the only mirror is, so couldn’t really see to apply makeup or what you looked like most days even with the light on!

Other than that though it was a really cute place with a very Thai vibe in the gardens etc and we’d happily stay there again.

Such a beautiful resort, right on the beach. It’s well maintained, the service was excellent and the rooms are spacious and well appointed. The entire resort has a peaceful, Zen like feel about it. If it was an adults only resort I would have rated it a 5. Don’t get me wrong, I love kids and have 5 of my own but it’s difficult to enjoy a poolside message with children playing and yelling in the pool next to you or crying in the restaurant while you are having breakfast.

Had an amazing stay at Baan Thai Lanta Resort! The villas were spacious, clean, and beautifully designed. The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, always going above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. A special thank you to Arms! The peaceful atmosphere and nearby uncrowded beaches made it the perfect getaway. Can’t wait to come back—highly recommend!

This was the best hotel I have ever stayed at in my life and I’ve stayed in a lot! I usually don’t even write reviews because they’re all unmemorable. At Baan Thai it truly feels like a 4 star resort- to be honest, I’ve received better service here than 5 stars I’ve stayed at! Everything is so so beautiful end they take care of the property so well. All of the staff are so kind and accommodating. I felt welcomed the second I stepped foot here. I will never forget my experience here and want to thank everyone. The rooms were exceptionally clean and beds comfortable. It is so quiet and serene here. I loved how we all had our own little homes. I cannot go on enough about how much I love this resort. I will recommend to every single person.

Fabulous stay in a peaceful oasis. Every corner is full of detail and beauty: flowers, perfectly manicured gardens, ponds, mini temples.
It was a joy to wander around and just relax.
Service was fantastic.

Very nice resort with lovely staff.
The grounds look like a park with beautiful plants and lots of cute little details like figurines and bird houses.
Every day you get flower creations on the vase in front of your bungalow.
The view is amazing.
On the beach you have all kinds of seating options from sunbeds to hammocks and swings, where you can also see the sunset.
I loved my stay here and felt like a queen.

Ok this is the place if you want unique, peace and quiet. Small pool, kinda like bathtub.

But every time I walk around I was amazed at the beauty and attention to detail around the grounds. Staff was 5 star.

A little off the beaten path but excellent place to recharge. Get them to get you a taxi, we had Mr Yaas... super affordable and do a island tour or excursions... unfortunately we didn't ask for a car until our next to last day. But he was great
