Vacation Village Phra Nang Lanta - SHA Extra Plus

Beautiful hotel and face to the sea. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. The room is big and the bed is comfort. All the room with sea view. The hotel located on the most beautiful beach of Kantiang and Bamboo bay. The breakfast there are delicious. The surrounding there are many shops and restaurants.

We stayed at Bakatiang Resort for 8 days and overall had a nice experience. The resort met our expectations and offered a comfortable stay.

We stayed in a bungalow without the tub. While the room was clean and spacious, I was a bit disappointed with the view—it was a partial sliver of the ocean rather than the full view I’d hoped for. That said, the king-sized bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were fantastic. The bathroom was great, with a separated shower and thoughtful amenities like shampoo, shower gel, and cotton buds provided. The air conditioning struggled to keep up and turned off when we left the room, which was a bit inconvenient, but the room servicing was always prompt and thorough.

The resort grounds were immaculate and well-maintained, which was impressive. The pool, though in a stunning location overlooking the valley and ocean, could have been cleaner—it often had hair and leaves floating, and I didn’t see it being cleaned during our stay.

Beach access is about a 5-minute walk, which was convenient, and the surrounding area is very chill and enjoyable. The resort is on a hill, so there is quite a bit of uphill walking, whether coming back from “town” or moving around the property—something to keep in mind for future visitors.

One thing I appreciated was the resort's laundry service, which was affordable (70 baht per kilo) and had a quick 24-hour turnaround. As for the restaurant, the staff was attentive, but the prices felt a bit high for what was offered.

Overall, Bakatiang Resort delivered a relaxing stay with some minor areas for improvement. The cleanliness, comfort, and friendly staff stood out as highlights, while things like the pool maintenance and air conditioning could use some attention.

We stayed in one of the wood-tree-houses and it was one of the best accomodations we had in Thailand! Very clean, comfy, good internet connection, and they even had a bathtub on the balcony! Very relaxing and so luxurious! We can also recommend the food in the restaurant! The staff was so friendly and helped us out a lot, thank you ❤️ We will definetly come back next year

Were were right on a quiet beautiful beach, which made other shortfalls worth it.

Lovely quiet property on a great beach. Walkable to several restaurants and a lively bar with great nightly fire show next door. Great spot to "recharge" after visiting other very busy Thailand destinations. Would definitely stay here again.

Staff so helpful and friendly. We stayed 3 days and couldn’t recommend enough. You get what you pay for so don’t expect luxury but the beds are very comfortable, rooms spacious , water pressure is good and balcony on the room is a bonus. We didn’t have breakfast so couldn’t comment but happy hour 4.30-6.30 by the pool everyday is nice. The pool is good, clean and has a great view (recommend for sunset).
we hired a bike for the day through the hotel and was super easy and quick.
Steps up to each room are steep and uneven.

Would 100% return and recommend.

The bungalow was perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The resort also has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the incredibly friendly and helpful staff who made sure we felt at home throughout our visit.

The location is another highlight – it’s within easy walking distance of the town, making it very convenient. Additionally, there’s a fantastic restaurant just across the street, which made dining out incredibly easy and enjoyable.

Overall, **Bakantiang Resort** is a perfect place for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in a stunning setting. We left feeling refreshed and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended!

Very nice cozy place. Rooms are nice and spacious. Every room has outdoor sitting area. Pool is nice and view is excellent. Market is near by, just a few minutes walking distance from the resort. There are some good resturants with DJ or live music next door.

Loved the beach and gardens. Easy to rent bikes and tour around the island

Really cool place near all the action. Staff is super nice and helpful. Clean rooms, reliable AC, what more could you ask for? they also rent motorscooters so everything is here.
