Lanta Paradise Beach Resort

The location is very good. This is the only positive fact. The bathroom smell was extreme. The sink is maybe full it was a nightmare. The breakfast looked not good at all and as we have seen that guests just eat vier bites we moved somewhere else. Sorry we no it’s Songkran in Thai but this does not help if the hotel needs urgently an update in renovation. Happy that we booked only 2 nights. Be aware. The pool is very very small.

Lanta Paradise Resort. Nothing of a paradise and a resort. We changed rooms twice, the first no air conditioning, the second no water but to our great surprise when we woke up the superb discovery that our window overlooks the hotel landfill. Room full of fleas. Let's not talk about the completely abandoned state of the hotel either. Unfriendly staff, not a hello, not a smile. For the price I do not recommend it, the photos are misleading. TO AVOID

It’s almost as if they don’t want guests here. This is my second time here and I’m never coming back. Prior to arriving. I emailed three months ago with no response and had to figure out transportation issues on my own. I recommend staying at the many other spots in the island. The lantern nature resort, next-door had better prices, nicer rooms, and concierge that responds immediately. See for yourself or better yet call or email with dead silence. The only thing going for it is the location everything else is subpar.

There is only one main person who speaks English, Rin. She is an unhelpful lazy Manager. She will do nothing to help you.

As someone previously has already reviewed, we experienced the exact same thing with this resort!
We, family of 4 with two small children, booked a room through Agoda and suddenly they cancelled on us 2 weeks prior to arrival! Now we are left scrambeling to look for alternative accommodation so close to arrival date, with increased prices. We are so sad and disappointed.

After countless hours of comparing properties on Koh Lanta we booked a pool/beach facing family room on Agoda 6 weeks before arrival, and we were very pleased with our booking and looked forward to arriving. We received confirmations twice from Agoda. . 2,5 weeks before arrival we suddenly receive a message through Agoda that the owner has cancelled our booking due to a double booking. At this point all other reasonable priced options are fully booked and we can only settle for a far less attractive and much more expensive option elsewhere. I have sent 4 emails to the property to at least get an explanation on how this could happen and why they are not even trying to accommodate us somehow but i didn't receive any response whatsover which i find terrible customer service, rude and careless. Therefore ,please think twice before booking here as it might suddenly get cancelled on you just before your arrival, leaving you with b-options.
