Hotel Residence Monia

For the price paid, the hotel was decent for a one night stay. It has all the essentials. The only thing was that the friendly receptionist told us that there would be water until before midnight but the water was cut already at 10pm…! It was a city problem so was not their fault but the miscommunication was unfortunate. They were thoughtful to have places filled bottles around for emergency use anyway. Had we known about the accurate timing of the water cut, we would have certainly taken an earlier shower. Still ok choice for a hotel at this price range in the centre.

Small, clean hotel just 2 mins from the railway station and at the start of Main Street.
Great value for money.

The hotel staffs are amicable and helpful. Before the travel, I need a voucher from them, just in case I have to apply for a visa on arrival. And the communication with them was very effective, they replied to me very rapidly and tried their best to solve this voucher thing with me. After we left the hotel, I found I probably left my watch inside the room, and they also helped me to find it again. Many thanks to the staff, they are such professional and kind.

Lovely people working there - kind and good English! the structure is not new, however the rooms are very clean and they have working and silent air co!!
Price quality ratio is very high!!!

If you're looking for a couple of days stays and want to be near the city center, this is a very good value for money for choice, especially compared to other hotels nearby. Very convenient check-in and check-out, there is always someone at the reception, wifi was very good and everything was within walking distance (medina, beach, train, bus, louage, restaurants). Rooms have air conditioning, tv, comfy beds and private bathroom with hot tub. There is also a daily cleanup service !
