Highly recommend if you’re a family. My kids are 3&4… the amount of activities they have for them is insane.
Pools and beach are clean at all times. The staff are amazing ! Super friendly and helpful, the buffet selection is on point when it comes to proper Turkish cuisine.. they also have international options. The rooms are massive! Super super spacious and clean.
I’ve got absolutely no complain or anything bad to say
But booking this hotel is the best thing you can do for yourself and your kids ! You’ll be relaxing and they’ll be at the kids club/camp

We loved our stay, we travelled as a small family. We stayed in one of the marine suites, it had two bathrooms a lounge with a bed and a separate bedroom. Our room over looked the marine pool which we loved. This is the new part of the hotel, we did visit the larger pool where there is a dj on in the day but found it not very clean and the staff and visitors using that pool very rude and arrogant. Option of food places was great we enjoyed majority of the al La carte which is an extra cost but worth it. The buffet is very good quality too. My son loved the pier where there is a specific spot for everyone to dive and jump off. My partner made use of the gym everyday the facilities were incredible. We also took part in one of the pink gorilla work out sessions which was great fun. The evening entertainment was very good

I do not recommend this hotel at all! Especially if you are a family, this hotel is not catering to families. Go elsewhere
We stayed here for a week and the service is horrible and not what we paid for
1) the rooms are old and every time u ask for something from room service it is like ur inconveniencing them
2) although its mostly family hotel they do not have any performance shows. All the shows are just loud music. And this music usually plays all night you can hear it in ur room till 1 am. The music is played in the center of the the hotel so all the rooms facing the water end up hearing loud music in their room. When I told them I have young kids unable to sleep on the first night, they responded with “legally in turkey we can play music till 12 am”! Instead of offering to move us to a quieter area
3) the only food option is one buffet! All the alcarte restraunt are extra charge and the most ridiculous thing is we came to guest relations 3 times for help to book for at teppenyaki restaurant because we are a large group they said we need to use the app, when using the app the second reservations opened the time slot is already booked! Guest relations stated this maybe “because a guest has a special occasion” so they booked for them. This sounds like the hotel prioritize some “more important” guests over others and some people can receive bookings prior while others cannot!! Ridiculous!! I had gone to guest relations 3 times before this asking for assistance with booking at this one restaurant and every time they said only the app! Then I am surprised to find out on my last night that had we said “we have a special occasion” they would have booked for us! Just ridiculous service here! Not 5 star hotel quality for sure.
Update!! I pass by the restaurant at 7:50 and guess what?? All tempenyaki table was EMPTY! The “special” guests didn’t even show up!
Unfortunately the person working at guest relations was so rude that I am unsure how a 5 star hotel can have someone like this representing the hotel. Also the same person from guest service handling whats app when we contacted him to assist to cancel a booking this is how he responded “You have the cancelation link in your e-Mail

Just completely unprofessional and rude! They don’t want to go out of their way to even assist a guest with a simple task.
The one positive is the kids club activities are excellent but this is not enough to make me recommend he hotel

I stayed for a week with my partner and 3-year-old son in one of the suites. It was the nicest room I have stayed in. Two full bathrooms, a living room with a huge sofa and a TV in the living room and bedroom. The food was the best I have had at an all-inclusive hotel, and even the cocktails were decent. Loads of activities, restaurants, and bars. Some restaurants are premium and cost an additional charge, however.
My only complaint would be the pillows. They were inflatable pillows covered with a little foam and very uncomfortable. A minor complaint in what is otherwise an amazing hotel. We walked over 10,000 steps a day, even on the days we didn't leave the hotel.
We are already planning our next trip.

We came as a family of three with our ten year old son and have absolutely loved our stay here, it has the best facilities of any hotel we have stayed in and we have had the best week ever.
Some very minor opportunities for improvement would be a softer bed, and the cost of buying photos from the people who go round and snap you by the pool, the charges for these were excessive and it’s best not to entertain it.
Top tip is to take an inflatable with you as both the hotel shop and the shops near by charge around €40-90 for even the most basic of ones.
Other than the above really couldn’t recommend the hotel any better, great friendly staff who are always happy to help and accommodate, and the facilities for children is unbelievable.

I visited the Rixos Sungate hotel in April with my 10-year-old son and 5-year-old daughter. The standout feature for us was the incredible kids club and the wide range of excellent activities on offer. Both children really enjoyed attending the creative workshops where they made woodwork models, clay pots, and paintings. They also built Lego robots, took part in an exercise class, and even did a bit of boxing! The staff at the kids club were fantastic—really engaging, attentive, and clearly passionate about working with children. I was even allowed to join in at times, which was great fun. I was especially impressed with how well the activities catered to both my children, despite the five-year age gap. It’s not always easy to find something that suits both younger and older kids, but Rixos managed it perfectly. Another major highlight was the outstanding service provided by our assigned Guest Relations team member, Ebru. She contacted me via WhatsApp on our first day with detailed information about the hotel and activities, and she remained available throughout our stay, always responding quickly. When I had a minor medical issue with my daughter, she helped me locate a GP and a pharmacy—and even checked in with us personally at dinner later that evening. Her support was above and beyond anything I’ve experienced at a hotel before, and it made a real difference to our stay. The hotel’s facilities and beach are beautiful. The gardens are immaculately kept, with the lovely scent of fresh flowers and cut grass adding to the experience. Since we visited in April, some of the pools were still quite cold, but there was one heated pool at the far end of the hotel which the kids loved. One slight disappointment was that some of the advertised kids club activities, such as the carnival, weren’t yet running. However, I understand this was likely due to being just ahead of peak season. The only real area for improvement was our room in the main block. While clean and functional, it felt a little dated and could benefit from refurbishment—especially when compared to some of the newly renovated blocks. That said, the hot tub in the bathroom was a big hit with the kids and more than made up for the slightly old-fashioned decor. Overall, this is a large resort with a huge range of facilities and things to do. I would definitely recommend Rixos Sungate for families—especially those with children who enjoy a mix of fun, creativity, and outdoor activities.

This was our second trip after three years. It's still amazing! The highlight of our trip was the bartender Nurlan in the lounge bar (Fantasy bar). He is just a charm and so skilled with cocktail making. All of his drinks were spot on. His custom "specials" were wonderful - he has great knowledge of different recepies and can easily recreat them as many times as needed. Food is awesome, kids have plenty of things to do. The staff who look after kids is just the best ever. Everyone's smiling, very professional, friendly, playful with kids. This time we came when there were concerts and musicians performing. That was great. Each performance was 2h long and something you get in the big and pricey concerts. Rooms were ok (despite us having the superior room in the new unit we did not have a bathtub which we had las time in a standard room) and no iron. Minor nuance, but when you come with kids it's a very nice addition. Water in the pool was a bit cold to our likening (not the kids though) and Land of Legends now has new rides and areas with Satrtrek and Nickolodeon themes. Those were awesome and so much fun. Downside was the yet again extremely cold water even in kids swimming pools. If you come later in May or in June it will be just fine. Staff and things to do for kids are even better than in Rixos Dubai which was more expensive in our case. We will definitely come here again.

We had a fantastic stay at Rixos Sungate! The hotel is beautiful, the service was excellent, and everything was very well organised. Special thanks to Ebru Yildiz from Guest Relations — she was incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay and made us feel truly welcome. We’re leaving with wonderful memories and would love to return again. Highly recommend!
