Reviews
Beach is very small, but if you come before breakfast, you will always find place. We were 12 people company in this hotel and everybody liked it. If you want good price and good location - we recommend!
Especially we want to thank Faruk Cetin, for tasty coctails, warm comunication and hospitality at all our stay!
The food is very basic — the same dishes for 8 days, nothing different, and most of them are spicy.
You won’t get any exotic fruits (only watermelon, apples, and plums). You won’t find bananas, kiwis, or ananas here.
There are too few sunbeds. If you come to the beach around 9–10 a.m., there’s a high chance you won’t find any free ones. They’re placed so close together that there’s no privacy at all.
The staff — most of them speak only Russian.
À la carte — terrible. The shrimp soup had no shrimp in it, and it was extremely spicy. The fish was dry (probably taken straight from the freezer to the pan), with no flavor at all.
Desserts — 8 out of 10. You can find something decent, but everything tastes strongly of sugar syrup. Nothing original.
Beach and area — I definitely won’t come back. In the morning, the water is clean, but in the afternoon it’s full of dirt, plastic bags, and paper. There’s probably a sewage pipe nearby that drains directly into the sea.
The bar is OK, but the juices need to be changed — you can’t really call them juice; it’s just colored water with concentrate.
Better bring digestive pills with you.
I definitely won’t return to this region, even though I liked the city at night — I went for a walk. The locals constantly try to sell you something, and it becomes irritating because you have no privacy and just want to take a quiet walk.
Overall, Turkey has changed a lot since the last time I came before COVID. I’ll definitely choose another country next time — there are now far too many Russians and their groups here, and most of them are rude, disrespectful, leave trash behind, and act very arrogantly.
We will definitely choose another destination. The choice is yours.
Only one buffet for two buildings, overflowing at breakfast and dinner times. No available seats. You have to literally run at the opening time, otherwise, good luck finding table.
Staff removing food half an hour before closing.
Also, only one a la carte restaurant with very good service, however, main course is similar to that is served at the dinner buffet. Salmon and spinach salad was tasty, variety or other options would be appreciated.
I wouldn’t come back here and wouldn’t really recommend it.
There was a good variety of food, and every day we were able to find something tasty and satisfying. Thank you to everyone who genuinely puts in the effort to make guests feel relaxed and comfortable — your work does not go unnoticed.
We stayed in one of the annex buildings, and honestly, that turned out to be a big plus. It was very quiet and peaceful there — perfect for a good night’s sleep and some real rest. The short walk back to the room after lunch was actually a pleasant and healthy way to stretch a bit.
When it comes to cleanliness, it's clear that the staff are doing their best. Of course, it also depends on the guests themselves. I personally saw a few instances where food fell to the floor and people simply left it there, and these are often the same people who complain about cleanliness.
In our room, cleaning was done daily, although not always very thoroughly. Still, other guests we spoke to said their rooms were spotless – so perhaps it depends on luck or which staff member is responsible.
Although the beach could get crowded, we always managed to find free sunbeds without much effort — there was always a spot if you looked around.
A special mention goes to the spa – a wonderful experience! Elena, who welcomes you, is warm and friendly, and the massage specialists Barış, Murat and Hıdır are truly professional and attentive. If you're looking for Thai-style massage, you'll find it here as well.
Of course, you can always find negative reviews, but much of that is subjective. If you know how to communicate respectfully with people, you’ll most likely receive excellent service in return.
We had a lovely vacation. For the first time, we actually didn’t want to leave the hotel – only positive emotions. Wishing the hotel continued success and many grateful guests in the future!
P.S. Our only suggestion would be to add more Turkish music and local ambiance to enhance the authentic experience.
At first glance, everything seemed very nice, but gradually a few things started to affect the atmosphere and our overall vacation mood.
We were a group of 6 people. This was the first hotel we’ve experienced where the bar only allows 2 drinks per person. My boyfriend and I were going to get drinks for everyone so our parents wouldn’t have to wait in line. When we explained that we were a group of 6, we were told in a rather disrespectful way (by someone named Iskander) that all six of us had to stand in line.
Regarding cleanliness – luckily we brought our own shampoo, because during the whole 7-day stay, we didn’t receive any new ones. Only after I insisted did they bring shampoo to one of our parents’ rooms, and only once.
In one of their rooms, the hand soap and shower gel (in wall-mounted dispensers) ran out and were never refilled for the rest of the stay.
Also, on the day we were supposed to check out, housekeeping entered our parents’ room at 9 AM and told them to vacate it, even though check-out was at 12. I told my mother to hang the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door, but the staff still entered and placed the sign on the bed.
These are things that clearly need improvement.
On a positive note, some of the staff members were very respectful and kind, the hotel was clean, although the organization in the dining area could be better.
Other than these issues, everything else was fine.
I recently stayed at Armas Gül Beach and had a truly wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The location of the hotel is perfect — right on the beach, with beautiful views of the sea and easy access to the city center.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained throughout our stay. Housekeeping did a great job every day. The food was also a highlight — a wide variety of fresh, delicious dishes at every meal, with something for everyone.
The pool area and beach were always clean and well-organized, with plenty of sunbeds available. The animation team did a great job keeping the atmosphere lively and fun without being intrusive.
Overall, Armas Gül Beach exceeded our expectations. It’s a fantastic choice for a relaxing holiday, and we would definitely love to return in the future!
The beach is full of sunbeds but hard to find unoccupied. First impression from this hotel is highly negative. Furthermore after lunch we couldn’t get to the room as door handle has broken and we had to wait for foreman.
