Booked this hotel as it was only a 100 metres from where I was getting my dental work carried out. I was there for an initial 7 nights and then extended it for another 3 nights (cheaper for these 3 nights as it was booked direct with them). Short walk to Bodrum harbour. Easy booking in, reception staff great. Room ideal for me as a solo traveller, comfortable double bed, sheets clean, good pillows. Fridge nice and quiet, 2 small complimentary bottles of water inside as well as a box of Turkish sweets on the top. TV has Turkish channels, but watched what I wanted on you tube. Ample storage space for me. Room safe at no extra cost. Bathroom good, shower nice and hot. Housekeeping was daily. Clean towels every day, bedding changed. The housekeeper she was excellent. The room rate included breakfast. No expectations but it was really nice. Selection of cereals, continental fresh breakfast, fresh bread, omelette freshly cooked, tea/coffee. Kitchen staff excellent. Free tea and coffee throughout the day, which was good for me as I was in the hotel most of the time sitting by the pool. You can buy alcoholic drinks at any time. The hotel is 40 years old and is undergoing continual refurbishment. This was going on when I stayed, spoke to Sera, she showed me the visuals for some of the refurbed rooms which will be finished by the end of April, must say they look excellent. When I go back in July, this is where I will be staying.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I had €2600 in my bag when I left the room, but when I came back, I found that €100 was missing, even though I had specifically told the housekeeper not to enter. The hotel does not look as good as the pictures, and the overall quality was poor. During breakfast at the buffet, one of the staff members kept staring at me the whole time, as if the food was being given for free, which made me very uncomfortable. The breakfast itself was not worth it; nothing special.
After the theft, the hotel refunded me for the remaining 3 days of my stay and offered to let me stay those days for free, but they still charged me for the first 2 days. I didn’t feel safe staying there any longer, so I left early and had to buy a new plane ticket to return home sooner than planned. When I checked reviews on Google and other platforms, I found that I wasn’t the only one—many other guests have had their money stolen too.
After the theft, the hotel refunded me for the remaining 3 days of my stay and offered to let me stay those days for free, but they still charged me for the first 2 days. This was my first solo holiday. I selected this hotel as a small, friendly hotel, close to the Marina. I had read the previous reviews regarding the lack of choice at breakfast, some of the rooms being a little tired etc. Firstly I have to say the contact from Ika (reception/manager) before I travelled was so helpful. I asked several questions & his replies were prompt and helpful. Ika could not have been more accommodating and reassuring during my stay at Hotel Centro. I witnessed how he spoke (in several languages) with other guests & he dealt with everyone with a huge smile. Nothing was too much trouble. He is an asset to this hotel. Yes, the breakfast was limited but you’re in Turkey, it’s a Turkish breakfast! My first room was very big but dark. I stayed there for a week then the reception staff allowed me to move to a room overlooking the pool, which was huge & lovely. The only criticism I have, you must cut back the big fern tree overhanging the pool!! 🙏

People there are very friendly and hospitable! The hotel smells so nice and the rooms are very very clean! The breakfast is very delicious! The swimming pools is great and generally all the hotel is beautiful! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This is undoubtedly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at . Our room had broken drawers the bed had no upper sheet just a bed cover. The bathroom had an outside door that did not shut the shower had black slime in the bottom, the sink was cracked and there was no hot water. You would definitely be better in a hostel!

We spent a week at Hotel Centro and it was incredible. The hotel is situated a short walk to both Gumbert beach and Bodrum centre and it is surrounded by lovely restaurants and bars. The hotel room was lovely, it had everything we need and was cleaned daily by staff. The staff were so welcoming and friendly and they could not have been more accommodating. The drinks and breakfast were really good. We would definitely return. Thank you :)

The hotel left an incredible impression— We had an amazing time. Every request was handled promptly, and every moment of our stay was thoughtfully planned. The hotel’s convenient location and the cool breeze and shade at the pool, even when the city was hot, were added bonuses.
You can completely trust this hotel to take care of everything on the spot. We didn’t book anything in advance, but thanks to Irakli, all our wishes were brought to life, including that surprise birthday cake. I’m confident you can always expect impeccable service and an exceptional stay here.

We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children who had booked a 2-night stay at the hotel. This is by far the worst experience we’ve ever had!
The rooms were filthy and disgusting, there was absolutely no service, and the staff was incredibly rude. The room smelled awful when we arrived, and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned. The air conditioning and fridge didn’t work, the sofa was covered in stains, and the bathroom was utterly revolting. The tiles on the walls were falling apart, and the pool was disgusting as well, clearly not cleaned in a long time.
It was so unbearable that we had to check out early the next morning.
We strongly advise against booking a stay at this dreadful hotel!
