Hotel Atrium

No maid service, even had to ask for a toilet roll, only 3 of the 6 bedroom lights working, no juice at the Limited breakfast, bar closed, restaurant closed, all in all a total shambles.

In the beginning, I will talk about the few good things about this hotel. The room is spacious, and the hotel is very close to the bus station and the city center and beaches. The hotel staff is very friendly and respectful.
However, the hotel is not clean; the room is dirty, and the bathroom as well. There is no daily room cleaning. We requested room cleaning two days after our arrival, but it was not done well.
The hotel is not suitable for families with strollers as there are stairs everywhere.
The morning breakfast is very bad and not worth the money.
Overall, my rating for the hotel is 4/10.

I hate this hotel and will never return to it. The amount of issues we had from day one were disgusting.

My parents have been going to Bodrum for about 20 years and myself about 15 years. We chose here due to the location as it was ideal. BIG MISTAKE!!

My parents have never been asked to pay up the full amount until the end of the holiday. We'd spent about 8/9 hours travelling and then about 45 minutes waiting to go to our rooms because payment had to be taken first.

My son got a bed that was broken, one of the legs were missing, but it made an awful noise anytime it moved and it moved a lot.

We had to use Google translate to ask for anything unless the ONE partially English speaking guy (more like teenager) could help us. My parents and cousins room had tea/coffee making facilities in their room, mine did not. I asked for one at reception and was told via Google translate, they were finished.
I asked to use a clothes rack to dry my clothes outside, again u was told they were finished. It's so difficult to have a conversation when someone can't understand what you mean and the fact you're furious with them. We ended up having to buy a clothes rack from a nearby shop to dry our belongings.

Rooms didn't get cleaned while we were out for a few hours. Both times we left keys at reception for cleaning and when we came back it wasn't done. The first time, it was done quickly and they left two bath towels and that's it. No hand towels or shower matt. I went out and purchased towels as I couldn't be bothered trying to ask for more help and just be told no.

The adult female cleaner was rude, my son held the door open for her and she said nothing. She was also smoking in the storage room where the clean towels and bedding are kept.

The only 3 people we appreciated were Merv(Matt) the young guy doing the clean up after breakfast and the maintenance guy because he kept the grounds mostly clean.

Breakfast was annoying, being a coeliac and having to be careful of what I eat is a pain at the best of times. But here, absolutely nothing was labelled, so I had to stick with yoghurt and tinned fruit every morning. Most days they would run out of honey, watermelon, stringy cheese. The cutlery would always run out each morning as would the bowls, like they just don't have enough of everything. If everyone staying at the hotel came down for breakfast at 8 there wouldn't be enough room for everyone.

It was a rule not to eat by the pool, yet we saw a few people doing this and nothing was said to them. We had purchased some fruit and went to eat it at the tables away from the pool and one of the girls just said no. So it was one rule for us and everyone else could do what they wanted.

We never saw the bar open, instead you had to ask at reception to get a drink, she'd open the small fridge get your drinks, write down your room number and the order, even if paying there and then. There were no snacks available to enjoy like the brochure advertised.

Also, once I finally got a kettle for my room, I had to go out and buy some spoons and a proper cup. The paper cups at breakfast would scold your hands when filled with hot water.

The parking organisation is a joke, we had to squeeze past cars coming back to the hotel some nights as they'd have about 15-20 cars crammed into the front of the hotel. It should be advertised as having very limited parking.

The only things we liked about the hotel was the WiFi when it worked and the pool.

Also, other people that stayed here had no respect for people sleeping. About three times in the two weeks of my holiday I was woken up by people above my room moving furniture around at 5am or dragging suitcases down the stairs.

Our air conditioning unit compared to some of the other rooms was awful, it's probably very dirty too and doesn't cool the room enough at all. The cover that was supplied on the bed was hard and itchy too, making it not comfortable to sleep and having to use my own blanket or towel instead.

The storage in the room for two weeks is ridiculous, there isn't enough at all.

I would not recommend this hotel at all. The rooms are dirty. The service is terrible. The reception is rude. They do not provide you with water or ice. They do not provide you with any assistance if you ask. They are also very expensive and not worth the price at all. Save your money and go elsewhere!

Manager of the hotel was very arogant, unhelpful, didnt treat me good as a guest, didnt tell me even goodbye when i was leaving the hotel. Hotel room was not cleaned during my stay of one week, which doesnt have any sence, everywhere in Turkey in every hotel i was room was cleaned every day.I found lot of better place for the same amount of money and even cheaper, where i was treated much better.
