Calis Hotel in Cesme

The hotel offers great and very friendly service.
The rooms are large enough for the little time spent there, since you will be out day and night exploring the surrounding villages and towns. Also the beaches and nature will keep you out doors day after day.
The rooms are meticulously cleaned.
Our room has two balconies. Amazing.

The breakfast buffet is incredible. Fruits, jams, cheeses, tea, coffee, juices. They is certainly enough to choose from. Vegans will love it too. Also the content of the buffet changes slightly every day.

It is a family friendly hotel and kids will love the outside pools.

This year, my family and I decided to spend our summer vacation in Ceşme-Alacati; those two magical and nice coastal towns in Izmir province.. We booked for our 10 days stay at Calis otel based in Ceşme .. The hotel is almost 15 minutes walking distance from the center and the nice marina . Hamid the owner and all his family members : his respectful father and his brother Tayfun(sorry if i spelled the name wrong) and his mother who prepares the tasty breakfast are so kind!! They really helped us in all the possible means they could . The only issue i faced was related to cleaning, I would have preferred to have a sign on the door such as "make up the room" or "do not disturb" for the house keeping staff to follow, since they opened the door to clean the room several times while we were still in!! But as an overall experience , thank you we really appreciate everything you did and if we get the chance to ever come back to Ceşme we would definetly choose Calis otel again!! My family and I stayed at the Calis hotel for 4 nights. The hotel has a modern feel about it with clean and modern bedrooms. A nice big to gave access to Netflix if needed. The bedroom had bunk beds and a double to cater for a family of 4, as well as AC. There was a pool and kids pool available. Breakfast was included and offered typical Turkish food. The hotel is about a 15-20 minute walk to the seafront. It’s an uphill walk on the way back from town. This is a nice hotel for visiting the Cesme area with parking available.

The service was excellent! They were kind, helpful, and very accommodating. Special thanks to Hamit, who was an outstanding host. He speaks English and was always ready and willing to help with anything I needed.
As a woman traveling solo, I was especially mindful of safety and security. I felt completely confident and free thanks to the staff and the peaceful, respectful environment.
The location is fantastic. It is within walking distance to all the popular spots and tourist attractions. Whether you're here for work or relaxation, it's ideal. The atmosphere is quiet and clean, with comfortable backgrounds for working, and for leisure, it's serene, safe, and perfectly located. You can walk 5 to 10 minutes to the marina or town center, or easily catch a dolmuş to explore further, as it's very close to the main road.
It's also near the Otogar, which is perfect for travelers like me who were exploring other parts of İzmir.
And please don't miss the inclusive breakfast buffet. It was truly the highlight of my trip!! The kitchen staff clearly puts care into starting your day right, with a generous spread of tasty and satisfying options. There's something for everyone.
All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Thank you to Çalış Hotel and the wonderful team for such a memorable experience. I would absolutely recommend this place to any traveler!

The hotel is centrally located, the rooms are very clean and spacious, even the upper floors have sea views, there is a pool, the breakfast is open buffet and the content is sufficient, the gentleman at the reception is very attentive and helpful. We agreed on one night and we liked it so much that we stayed the second night.

Good value for the area. Free access to mini fridge. It had a nice pool. Breakfast was ok but not the best. Amenities were a little run down.

Amazing hotel for the cost, really recommend. It is really homey and the staff is very nice. The pool on the outside is very good for the cost. The mini fridge is free and has a good selection of drinks, as well as an ice maker. There was a TV in the room that worked just fine. Had good channels overall. The breakfast was of very high quality and tasty. I really recommend it if you want somewhere to stay for a couple of days. In a very nice place as well, close to Çeşme Marina.

A great place but there is room for improvement
Pros:

Good location. Friendly staff, especially Mehmet (a young man studying English at a university). Great breakfast. Rooms come with a safe and a balcony.

Cons:

No electric kettle or tea/coffee maker in the rooms. No cups either. No phones in the room. No elevator in the building (the staff will help you with your bags though). No hand-held shower (only a fixed-head shower). The shower is not fully partitioned as there is only a half-glass wall around it. Every time you take a shower there is water all over the bathroom floor.
