Where to stay in Cesme

Amazing surprise at this Sheraton. The hotel is old but well maintained. The beach and the view are out of words. Rooms are very comfortable and quiet. As Titanium member, we receive a kind upgrade to panoramic suite. We were there during very low season, not sure to receive such an upgrade during high season. I only stayed at the beach side of it and I can tell you it's one of the best beaches I've seen. Soft sand and crystal clear water . Greece is just across and the vibes are really nice. Coming again next summer for the blog :)

I agree with most of the comments before me that say that the hotel is very outdated. It certainly needs an urgent renovation. Last time it was renovated was in 2011 and most of the furniture in the hotel is from when they opened the hotel back in 1999. Everything was good in relation to the price paid. Pool is clean, but the ocean is dirty when the weather is windy. But be careful, this is definitely not a four star hotel, three stars at best.

Lovely hotel experience! Drinks by the beach were delicious and speedy. When my wife and I got a couples massage at the Dulcis spa, the attendants Sümeyra and Özge were especially friendly and helpful in navigating all the options at the spa (thermal pools, steam rooms, relaxation rooms, and a plethora of massage options). The hotel is in the nice area called "Ilıca Beach" and the location is very good. Price-wise, the hotel was expensive especially at the beach facilities for example a bottle of beer (33cl) was 500₺. We booked a superior room for three people. But unfortunately there was only one kingsize bed and one rollaway bed. two of us had to sleep on the kingsize bed.

We have stayed here for a week. The advantage of the hotel is its proximity to the Ilica beach. Cesme and Alicati are 10-15 min away by bus. Staff are nice and helpful. We paid for a room with the sea view however one could see only a smallest piece of the sea. To call it "sea view" is very, very big exaggeration.
