Andriake Beach Club Demre

Despite being far away from both airports, it’s a great location. Beautiful beach surrounded by nature.
However, the hotel is nowhere near a five star hotel. Maybe three stars. So adjust your expectations accordingly. Weird bathroom design, complicated lighting, barely working air conditioning, one single throw on the bed nothing else. You need to call to ask for extra blankets, weird! How do they expect two people sleep with just one single throw that I don’t know. No iron in the room, even when asked they didn’t bring. You’re bound to the expensive laundry service if you want something ironed. Almost no toiletries. So bring your own. Food is meh. No plant based milk. No labelling on the food for allergens. Bar alcohol is the cheapest and tastes like it’s been lightened with water.

. The cleanliness was excellent. However, the food quality and variety were below my expectations.

The staff's behavior was far from what I anticipated. On one occasion, I called the reception for assistance while speaking in Turkish. The receptionist started shouting, claiming she couldn't speak Turkish and requested that I don't call again. I then switched to English, but she abruptly hung up, which was quite inappropriate as she wasn't proficient in English in the first place.

On another occasion, I asked a waiter for a plastic plate to serve some food for my daughter who wasn't willing to eat during the regular mealtime. Instead of complying, he asked me to go to the reception to obtain written approval for the plastic plate, which was truly ridiculous!

No hot water in the shower. Extremely loud music up until late right below our balcony. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here for relaxing

Pluses: No other hotels around, sand beach, rock beach walking distance. That’s about it.

Minuses: 3 hours from the airport. Food is nothing special, NO animation period but kids disco and empty night disco. No one knows kids club hours and animators dont speak any languages. Beach is ok but dirty with wild dogs running around scaring children. NO waiter service anywhere in the hotel (5 stars haha). Drinks are bottom shelf. Hotel staff is ok but they never know anything. Things get broken(elevators, room amenities) all the time. Hotel does not even have enough plates and silverware to accommodate guests. Same goes for entry cardkeys. 1 per room of 3:). No luggage scales, no iron to give(and the laundry cost is $4 per 1 piece of underwear is ridiculous. Hotel is pretty much a monopoly in the area and everything is priced high. And in all-inclusive drinks are $5 after 12:00 am. Our friends have been to this place 2 years ago and it was a totally different experience.

Overall, this is a place that we don’t want to return to. Ever.
