Hotel Villa Mahal

My husband and I were here on our honeymoon. The setting couldn’t be more romantic, and our dinner server, Mehmet, was amazing. He made sure we felt exceptionally cared for during our time here. Additionally, the location was amazing- we swam off a beautiful swim dock, ate excellent food, relaxed, and slept so well every night . We will be back.

Absolutely amazing food and service! Very hot though so definitely bring your own fan as there’s is no AC (it’s outside) or fans

We stayed in the cliff house which was really spectacular. The other rooms looked nice too but lots of steps to climb. Very relaxing stay, amazing staff (Burak made our stay very comfortable).

Would recommend and can’t wait to come back.

This is a facility where every single detail is thought about. Very suitable for the ones looking for high quality service. Super delicious foods! I love their arrangement down by the sea that allows comfortable sunbathing and diving.
I utterly appreciate the perfectionist approach of the people who run the hotel.

We always go to the beach and everytime leave as pleased. It was a bit see hotel is aging and definitely need some renovations. We went on Sunday and it was understaffed unfortunately. You need to wait 10-15 mins to order and another 10 mins for your drink. They use A4 printed menus where they can easily digitalize this with a QR code and ordering system from a webpage.
Overall, I can’t recommend a better beach in the region if you want to relax and enjoy the Kalkan sea.

This is a lovely hotel perched on a stiff cliff side near Kalkan. We had the pool room while our boys shared a small room. Overall the hotel is really nice, especially the scenery. We found the breakfast and dinners quite exceptional as the chef was quite good.

Our head waiter was so fantastic and attentive that I made it a point to tell the front desk on checkout how amazing he was.

We enjoyed spending quite times along the water and taking sips into the blue ocean when it got a little bit too hot. It was great.

Here are my only negatives:

- The internet can get slow and sometimes would just stop working.
- The property is on a steep cliff. I don’t recommend it for people who have mobility issues.
- The room was ok as the bed was a bit uncomfortable and the furniture was meh. The AC was good though so I slept well.

I would come back again.

What an incredible stay. I almost don’t want people to know about it, Villa Mahal is so special! Dinner on the water, rooms cut into the mountain side and kind and thoughtful people. It is worth the travel time and more to experience this hidden gem with all that Kalkan and the water have to offer.

It is like a hidden summer palace inlaid with sapphire like pools. You could enjoy a very peaceful timing here, only listening the singing from the birds, sometimes encountering dogs who following you for the food, and even enjoy some low-hanging fruits😂. The staff are also very friendly and willing to share some stories with you. The only point is that the room interior is so so but you could almost skip this part while fascinated by the view.
