Elixir Hotel

Beautiful hotel, really gorgeous pool area. Lots of lovely plants and flowers made it so pretty and the building was slightly rustic looking which added to the charm. There were loads of nooks and crannies to sit in around the pool area. Absolutely loved the cabanna sun beds - really comfy and luxury feeling. The bar area was great with snooker table and big TV. The football was on a couple of times and made for a lively and entertaining evening. The staff were all absolutely lovely and friendly and we were very well looked after. Breakfast was a wide range of food, mostly Turkish traditional but also lots of fruit, pancakes etc. It was 10-15 minute walk into town, very easy. Friendly area, very touristy down at the harbour - masses of restaurants. Our room was spacious and lovely with a comfy bed and nice quiet air conditioning for night time. Thoroughly recommend this delightful hotel!

Just home from a wonderful six nights here. The service was fantastic from the start; from the way we were greeted, the willingness to make dinner in the wood fired oven even though the kitchen had closed, and the kindness at breakfast. Every member of the team treated us with kindness and a warm welcome.

The room was lovely and spacious, lovely clean bedding and towels every day. We never used the hot-tub on the balcony but it was a great spot, as was the soft seating area. We were definitely there in a quiet week so no problems getting a late afternoon bed by the pool, which was lovely to swim in.

We had a lovely wood fired pizza on the first night, and breakfast everyday was delicious. We loved the various turkish salads that were made fresh each day, there was always something different. And a treat to have freshly baked bread from the wood oven each morning too.

The hotel was about 800 metres from the old town, we really enjoyed the walk but there’s definitely a few hills to climb.

We’d go back again.

There is so much we could write about Elixir, all of it good!

The hotel, in itself, is lovely. It’s about a half-mile with a little uphill (one of Kalkan’s many) from the Old Town. It’s close enough for you to be near to everything, far enough away to be quiet.

The design is great with a lot of outdoor space - it’s spacious, bright and really nicely equipped. The bar and eating area is all outdoor but undercover - it has a lovely ambience.

The pool is great and lots of space around it for the days when you don’t fancy the beach.

Our room was spacious with a great view from the balcony. The air conditioning is effective, the rooms are clean and everything in good condition.

We only had dinner on our arrival evening but it was good - a local Turkish Pide.

The breakfast is great - really fresh buffet plus freshly baked bread and made eggs. Coffee and orange juice on tap so a great way to start each day.

What makes this place is the staff. From the owner through to every member of staff is a constant desire to be helpful, engaging and friendly. They really do go above and beyond, wanting you to love their town and hotel.

We loved Elixir and I’ve no doubt we’ll return.

the bar has is great, open-air and comfortable. staff were absolutely lovely, chatty, friendly and very accommodating! watched the euros there twice and had many drinks and some food - really great quality and very reasonably priced. within walking distance from most villas in the area, supermarket nearby as well.

would definitely recommend making a stop here, free pool table, good drinks, good food.

This is an extraordinary place we felt like in haven. We had a spacious room with whirlpool tub on the balcony and sunset view. Everything is in a real good shape and you can see a good hand for interior design. Very attentive staff it is definitely worth the price you pay for. We can highly recommend and will definitely return next year

Breakfasts are totally 😲

My wife and I stayed near the Elixer but visited it everyday for lunch or evening drinks.
The staff were excellent and very friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. The large bar area is very stylish and comfortable and we also had a fantastic meal one night in their restaurant.
We also had use of their pool and cabana one day and that was fantastic.
My wife made use of the Turkish spa one day and raved about it.
We will def be booking to stay at the hotel next time we visit Kalkan.

We returned to Kalkan a few weeks later and made good use of the Elixer again during our stay in another apartment. We booked a room there for the final day of our stay
The staff were fantastic as usual and made us feel very welcome. The food was excellent and the pool area and cabana was 1st class as before. We have decided to stay here on our next visit to Kalkan.
I cannot recommend the Elixer highly enough.

So sorry we have to leave this amazing place. Cannot fault a single thing. Staff can't do enough for you, rooms spacious, spotless and beautifully decorated. Breakfasts are delicious with so much choice. Pool and grounds are stunning as are the views from the bedrooms. We will most definitely be coming back!
