Reviews
The service is very humble and people are friendly, with travel assistance, airport shuttle service, good breakast, cute rooms.
Swimming pool is very good.
Even for Indians the location and property is good- with indian restaurants nearby and veg options.
And its located in Goreme, in main road, so there's no second thought of not recommending the place to anybody.
Dont miss the terrace and rooms views of hotair balloons - we were late to view at the right time
The hotel is quite beautiful maintaining it's charm with little private areas in the bar area on the entrance floor allowing you to relax and have a drink if you would like. The pool is very beautiful, the surrounding area needs clean up work but overall very nice. This is not a cave hotel, many in the area to choose from though.
Our room on the 3rd floor was very small for a week long stay. The bed area contains the bed which is very comfortable, and a bar/shelf used for coffee and maybe a workspace with a small metal chair you can sit on for about 30 minutes at a time. The bathroom was very small and the shower was a struggle to use when the shower head shoots water all different directions getting the floor soaked.
The wifi is a problem, there is no continuous connection on the 3rd floor meaning that because I work remote, I had to use the downstairs bar area to work in, using a couch and coffee table. Reception was never able to assist with the low or non-existent signal so I am assuming it's an ongoing problem they are not going to fix. Not appropriate to advertise wifi if the wifi does not work.
Service was excellent as everyone tried to assist with local area suggestions for places to eat and things to do. There are a few walking/hiking trails close to Heybe that made it easy to see the rock formations. Finally, the balloons flew overhead each morning which you could watch from the rooftop terrace.
Again, this is a budget hotel.
The pool area is so cool and coulnd't understand why people were not around, but I guess they were all doing activities. The rooms are a normal size, the bathroom was a bit small but everything was so clean and good that we didn't care that much. The breakfast is top and they even served honey just straight from the the honey hives, like for real?? Just amazing!
Also the terrace is so cool and again, nobody used it? I went there early in the morning to watch the hot air ballons and it was so magical. It was just me and another couple!
100% recommend it!
Heybe Hotel, situated near the center, the only good thing about the place. The rest is just scam, unprofessional and salty behaviours.
However, our experience was marred by service issues. Despite our desire to access the sauna by paying a FEE separately, we were informed that it was only available with a massage package, which we didn't want. This lack of flexibility in service offerings was DISAPPOINTING. (I never asked to access there freely, I wanted to pay for SAUNA ONLY.) Please do not give me an answer implying that as if I asked for 'free service' for God's sake.
Most importantly, despite booking a room with a double bed for our couple's getaway, we were given a room with two single beds. I rejected this and asked for a proper room. When we requested a change, they gave us second room and it had two single beds too :) to be pushed together to create a double bed. This oversight in providing what we had officially booked and paid for left a sour impression.
Despite these shortcomings, our overall experience at the hotel was okay, albeit with room for improvement in customer service and room allocation policies.
Just to mention, my partner is Swedish while I'm Turkish. As we courteously asked to receive what we had paid and booked for, I couldn't help but overhear the exchange of salty comments among the staff.
Additional note regarding to hotel's prompt response:
We initially planned to extend our stay, having stayed at another hotel previously. Unfortunately, that establishment was fully booked, leading us to choose your hotel for a single night. Our decision was driven by personal reasons necessitating our return home the following morning. However, I was taken aback by the response, "If you stay more than 24 hours, we can fix the problems," as it implies that the level of service provided is contingent upon the duration of one's stay. I firmly believe that exemplary service should be offered regardless of the length of a guest's visit.
I want to clarify that we were not seeking FREE services. Our request was simply to pay for sauna access without the massage service, which we did not require. I'm expressing my disappointment regarding the lack of flexibility in accommodating this request. I urge you to carefully review my feedback, as it highlights our desire for a more flexible approach without implying any expectation of free services.
Regarding the bed situation, we booked got double bed and you provided that when I insisted that I didn't want to sleep in 'two single beds pushed together' only.
The response of you literally made my point, you guys are just purely salty.
So we could sleep after bus trip
Breakfast is great and nourishing
Pool is free but unfortunately sauna was extra and bit"" spicy"" prices for spa procedures so we didn't use.
They have sushi coffee extras so staying was satisfying
Thanks))))))we recommend
