Milat Cave Hotel

Very strange check-out time, 11am. No one reminded me when I checked in. Then when I checked out, I planned to check out at 12:00. At 11:30, I was knocked on the door and asked when I would check out. I said right away, but a male staff member actually thought I was Rolling your eyes? I immediately complained to them when I checked out. If you don’t want to be in the hotel business, don’t do it. Don’t you know how to communicate? Roll your eyes?

Alright hotel. NOT A CAVE HOTEL. You can hear your neighbors breathe, that’s how thin the walls are. Inconsistent prices depending on what platform you book from. Some of the staff were friendlier than the others. Some of the men here were flat out rude and dismissive. The day we were departing a couple asked for breakfast - got it. When we asked he just said “breakfast at 8”. I understand, however I felt this was rude given the fact that the couple literally 2 feet ahead of us got one. Again, if you just want a place to lay your head down - then this might be it but be forewarned. Beware staff are smokers If you’re bothered by this. Beds were squeaky, when we changed rooms. The window was broken and could not be locked - not very safe I’d say.
