Yunusn is the perfect host. Friendly and an expert problem solver. The hotel is beautiful and small scale so it feels like staying at a generous friends house😄. Close to everything and a beautiful view from the rooftop. Yunusn provided tips, advice and local knowledge whenever asked.

I cannot recommend Salkim Cave House enough. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel so welcome, we felt like we were guests at someone’s home. The breakfast is so fresh and lovely. The location is perfect for Göreme centre where there’s plenty of shops and restaurants. I recommend booking any trips through the hotel, we did and so glad as they all ran so smoothly!!

The owner was great to work with and really nice. He makes fresh breakfast when you are ready! The terrace views are great. The rooms we staying had heated floors! For us it was no issue, but if you have bad knees, the place is located on a slight hill (that is how the terrace views are so good) so that might be a small issue for some.

Awesome spot to view the balloons in the morning. Yunus the host was very hospitable and caring and will help you sort out anything from tours to transport. Rooms are very interesting and a decent size. Breakfast was very good and decent portion.

A great place to stay
We really enjoyed our stay at Salkim Cave House. We booked a family suite which was comfortable and clean. The bathroom was nice and Yunus serves a very good breakfast. They also provide free mineral water and have tea making facilities in the room. The restaurants and shops are a 5 minute walk away downhill. Both Yunus and Yusuf are extremely helpful and attentive. Yunus can book your transfers and excursions. I thoroughly recommend Salkim Cave House if you go to Cappadocia.

Thank you Yunus and staff for your hospitality! My wife and I were very pleased with this hotel and stayed 4 nights. Such a lovely place and incredibly friendly staff. At the top of the valley, the location had beautiful views of Göreme and the surrounds from the rooftop terrace, but was only a short and easy walk to everywhere we went. The breakfast was delicious and very generous. The manager, Yunus, was very helpful and accomodating, made us feel very welcome and we were exceptionally pleased with the tours he helped us book. When we had an issue with our accomodation, the staff were immediate and thorough in their help to resolve matters, and we felt very well looked after. Teşekkür ederim!

Rooms are spacious and well appointed.
Rooms are not made up on a daily basis though they claim that the dust falling from the cave ceiling is cleaned up daily.

Wonderful hotel with excellent service
We really enjoyed our stay at Salkim Cave House - spacious and clean room, super friendly and helpful staff, yummy breakfast, wonderful terrace. The only drawback - the internet can be a bit spotty.
