Grand Kartal Hotel

Upon check in, they did not ask whether we prefer a smoking floor or not. The room itself did not smell when we first entered , but the entire hallway smelled like cigarette, which means other guests on the floor smoke a lot. We were on the 7th floor, and the entire floor smells like cig all the time. The cigarette smell in the room comes and goes, usually quite heavy at night , when all the guests are back.

Location is good, but I would enforce stricter smoking rules in rooms. If the cigarette smell really bothers you, I would make sure to ask about that at check in .

Overall a very clean hotel w good services and good food.

We had such a great holiday! The food was just amazing, couldn’t resist to try everything and gained a lot of weight :) the service in the restaurant is outstanding, we felt so welcomed and looked after. Rooms were fine , quite spacious.
Great value for money too. The slopes are perfect for the beginners.
The only thing I would recommend the reception to learn English as it was a bit hard to communicate.

Excellent stay, very friendly staff, really loved the place. The food was fantastic with an immense amount of choices, beyond every expectation, really perfect. Clean newly renovated room and nice new panorama SPA with new restroom. To conclude the ski area the most confortable i have been in was just perfect. I highly, highly recomment this place.

Beautiful, quaint hotel in the heart of Kartalkaya make it the perfect place to go for skiing.
The hotel offered a daily buffet breakfast that was very good. They provide ski/ board storage with boot dryers for your boots. The staff was outstanding, very attentive to our every needs. If we needed anything, all we had to do was ask.
The ski valets were always there to greet us before and after each day of skiing and took care of our skis and boots when we returned in the afternoon. Skis and boots were always ready in the morning, and at the end of day, our footwear was always ready when we return after a long day of awesome skiing!

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Grand Kartal this February. The stay was our first one at the hotel, and I have to say we were pleasantly surprised with the quality of service, food and the overall experience. We stayed in one of the renovated (deluxe) rooms and found it to be very cozy and comfortable. Appreciated the detail of having our own nespresso machine in the room, and the bathrooms were spotless. The food at the hotel is one of its biggest assets - served in an open buffet style it is beyond fresh and delicious. Hotel staff are incredibly helpful, polite and attentive. Big shoutout to everyone and we look forward to coming back soon!

Very easy to reach both from Ankara and İstanbul. You will have reached this place by 12 noon. The reception, garage, room service and the food is always great three times a day. The skii lifts are very well looked after and groomed with all the safety measures taken by competent personel. However the injured has to be taken to Bolu for further care.

The. Ski grounds are plenty -10 all- maybe more - suitable for all levels including the snowboarded. I advise weekdays when it looks better.
