Fame Beach Hotel

Upon arrival and having booked weeks before and completing full payment, we were told that the hotel is full so our only option was to stay the first night in their other cheaper hotel that has no beach or restaurant and is of lower quality. We had to keep going back and forth to have access to the beach and food, and had to face the inconvenience of checking out the next day from their cheap hotel and checking back into this. They laughed us through some document with petty stuff for compensation which was in Turkish so we didn’t understand it. They stated they had a gym but there wasn’t any, food was mostly bland, nothing special. There was a bad smell most of the time in the lobby area. Rooms are super small. We did not enjoy our stay here and experience with them, not recommended at all !!

Well,we came back couple minutes ago from Kemer,exatcly from Fame Beach Hotel 4*
Rooms are clean,cleaners work every morning,bringing clean towels and rest of it,there was few days that they didnt left bottle of water but its okay
Service are awfull,waiting in big order to eat and there is no free table to sit and eat,guests from another hotels came to eat with us and there is to many people,food is basic,nothing special.Bar with drinks is like small box and there is big crowd "fighting" whos gonna get something to drink.Pool is small and have limited work hours(from 8 to 18).Jumping is allowed and all dackchairs all around the pool so if anyone jump it will make u wet.We paid for wi-fi internet to have it in our rooms and didnt work,we tell them but they cant do nothing.They dont speak English so its very hard to comunnicate with someone.Beach are stack with people,deckchairs are one near other and there is no space,people left their stuff(towels and rest) on the deckchairs so when they come back tomorrow they will have thier spot.Lobby have A\C but doesnt work! At the end,the worst 4* all inclusive i have ever been.Thank you.

I'll start with the positives. The rooms are nice, so is the location and the food is alright. However, it was my third time in Turkey and compared to the other places, the food was plain and not particularly great. You won't be going around hungry, though it's not amazing either. But that's all with the positive or positive-ish sides of this hotel that it has to offer.

The negative aspects significantly outweigh the positives. Firstly, almost nobody speaks English at the reception. The hotel is entirely organized towards the Russian tourists, which is really mediocre in this case considering they sell their holidays in the non-Russian speaking countries as well. It was the first time I've encountered something like this, everywhere else I'd find someone who speaks English or at the very least German. But not here. Only Russian.
Secondly, even though the rooms were fairly nice and obviously renovated, they were not very clean and there was a weird smell in the bathroom.
Thirdly, the beach is extremely crowded and there are not enough sunbeds. While there is technically a rule that you can only reserve a sunbed for max an hour, some people just come, reserve, never to come to the place till the end of the day or they reserve more than needed (like 3 sunbeds for two people). The staff is helpful if confronted, but in overall, not much is done to fix the situation. Using the pool is almost impossible. Very few sunbeds.
Also, this is not a very calm place. Of course, the location has both advantages and downsides, but if you're looking for a place to relax, choose something else. It's loud at this hotel most of the time.
Finally, you have to pay for many things at the hotel. These days, you typically do not have to pay for the hotel wifi. But at Fame Beach, you have to, otherwise you have to rely on the public lobby wifi, which is quite poor and doesn't work at all times.

All in all, I'd say it's not worth the price. Go there if you really got a great price deal, otherwise, it's not really a good value.
