I’m incredibly disappointed with my stay at Beach Club Doganay — this hotel is absolutely not a five-star resort as advertised. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the standards were far below what we expected.
The entire hotel was freezing cold, making it almost impossible to enjoy any of the facilities. We couldn’t even think about using the spa or swimming pool because stepping out of the water into the freezing air was unbearable.
Cleanliness was another major issue — the hotel was dirty and poorly maintained. This really added to the overall uncomfortable experience.
As for the food, it was nowhere near the 24/7 service they claimed. There were very limited hours for meals, and outside of those times, there was no option for food at all. Worse still, the food was the same every single day — bland, repetitive, and often just reheated leftovers. For six long days, we were stuck eating the same poor-quality meals.
The bar was equally disappointing. They offered a very limited selection of drinks, and even those were of poor quality. For example, the so-called “pineapple juice” was actually orange, packed with sugar, and completely undrinkable.
Overall, the facilities were extremely poor, the service was lacking, and the entire experience was a huge letdown. This was, without a doubt, the worst holiday I’ve ever had, and I definitely won’t be returning. I strongly advise others to look elsewhere if you want a pleasant and comfortable vacation.

BAD HOTEL.
This hotel is bang in the middle of nowhere, we arrived at midnight and were absolutely starving and in need of a drink. Staff no help saying everything in the area is closed (it wasn’t in Alanya we realised later in the week)
First hour of being there they said they’d get a taxi to take us to somewhere to get food. They sent us to a supermarket that TOALLY SCAMMED US for £76. Taxi also scammed us charging £40 to take us 5 mins away and back to hotel. (£116 for this food in the picture)
Hotel is not suitable for brits at all, we were stared as constantly and felt like we were total social outcasts. They stopped giving us all inclusive drinks saying it’s 5 each then forbidden. Food was horrific. Cats and dogs everywhere, will never return.

Very disappointed 😞!!
Dirty cats every where .. spoiled our Christmas treat !!
No way this place is a 5⭐️ the rooms are dirty all damp we suffered with the cough and chest this 5 days on our visit !
the restaurant is full of cats walking everywhere all around the chairs and tables ( webpage says no animal friendly)and the night we arrived we left our cases in the lobby while we went for a drink one of the cats piss all over one of my cases all the clothes stunk very bad.
rooms and toilets are mouldy.
Indoor pool very disgusting 🫣 0 clean rate .
Drinks at the bar are so cheap . Also no much entertainment as was christmas week and the place was busy .. the only good think was the massage treatment 😌.. but the rest very dissatisfied.. and poor 😢

From the beginning, very far from the airport (2 hours by car) and far from being a 5 star hotel... We stayed in the old building, so everything is quite worn out or outdated. The elevators seem newer but look cheap and tacky and are really small. More important aspects would be the really thin walls and balcony door. We could hear all our neighbours and the loud music from outside until falling asleep. After the party is done or earlier in the morning, you can hear the traffic from the nearby highway through the closed balcony door. The staff try to be nice but are quite dismissive, also they hardly speak English. The food was ok, better than other places in Turkey we've been. The beach is very close to the hotel, there's a neat passage under the highway that gets you directly there. The shore is rocky and the sand is rough, so better wear water shoes. We couldn't enjoy the beach much because there were always high waves. Overall, not worth the money and we wouldn't recommend this stay.

If you want a nice friendly 5* hotel
This is not the place for you tiles missing from the swimming pool floor,plastic plimps broken around the pool a few staff members really rude.
No real first aid to speak of.
Will not be going back.

We were on vacation in Doganay and honestly I will never come back.
Small rooms,need to be fixed and refreshed.
The food is poor,I wanted to eat one fat and juicy doner,(we are in turkey) but never see him at dinner.
Only 1 place for meat and when it comes dinner time all the guests rush for the meat and you need to wait for 10-15 min under the burning sun.
The beach like every beach in Turkey is rocks and concrete..
Animators are good.

Me and my partner visited for 6 days. We arrived late and were greeted with a warm welcome a staff member helped us to our room and then told us there is a late supper on which we are welcome to go to. The pools were all amazing and some fun games around the pool with the animation team such as water polo and water gym. All the staff were super friendly even tho there was a slight language barrier as we are English and they were mainly German or Turkish. The beach has a lovely set up with a cute swing to take great sunset photos on. Multiple bars to get drinks from and one that is even open till 2am. The evening entertainment was brilliant. They had different acts on each night. The hotel is fairly dated but looks nice for how old it is LOVE the lobby and the rooms are good size and the house keeper comes round every day to stock up and replenish the fridge. The shops on site were great and we have definitely gone away with our moneys worth. Good information In main lobby of things you can do outside the hotel.
The only issue we had was the food. We are not really picky eaters but some of the food was not great. Allot of the meat was very fatty and not nice. There needs to be more signs telling you what is what on the all you can eat buffet as if you had an allergy to something especially on the salad bar it has no signs to say what it is. The food did seem to get better as our week went on but I do think the food needs a big improvement as most of the time it was either cold or bland.
All round great hotel worth the money and would definitely come back again.

Food is perfect. As a vegetarian I found a wide range of vegetarian dishes which were very delicious . Kids activities are pretty.
I just didn’t like the bathroom. Water flow is very bad and toilet paper quality is extremely bad.

The hotel and the rooms are clean and come with good beds and excellent showers. İt’s all a bit dated though. Since one spends most of the time outside that didn’t disturb me much.
It’s and all-inclusive hotel with ample restautants and bars. The overall quality of the food was good, as was the variety.
The beer was good, the wine undrinkable.
What I really disliked were guests who apparently thought that the drinks and food provided by the hotel was the last food on earth. Food was piled so high on their plates that there was eternal snow on top of it. The concept of sharing and behaving normally seemed to be lost on them.
I also did not like the absent-minded zombies with watery eyes at eleven in the morning trudging continuously from beachbed to bar and back holding as many beer glasses as they could at every beer run.
But hey, that’s me!

We are disappointed with our stay at Beatch Club Hotel Doganay. After a 20-hour journey, tired and sleep-deprived, we arrived at the hotel in question. At that moment, several busloads of tourists arrived. Chaos ensued. We waited about 4 hours for check-in. My friend asked the Turkish tour guide at the hotel when we would be accommodated and he started behaving like a thug - shouting, arguing, the attitude was shocking. The Turkish tour guide told him that he would throw him out of the hotel for asking. And actually checked him in with the hotel at 8:00pm. in the evening, left him waiting outside the hotel on a bench. I have no words. At first glance, there was a lot of food, but it was monotonous and tasteless. We found worms and flies in the fruit. By the time we left, we all had stomachaches. When we complained about this to the waitress, she laughed at us. Total madness. The hotel is full of people, everything is crowded. One gets stressed. The hotel beach is stony, even with water shoes it is difficult to enter. The only positive thing for us was the bed in the room - it was comfortable. We want to praise Hassan the bartender who served us politely and also a young boy waiter whose name we don't know. We categorically do not recommend a hotel Doganay Beach Club.
