Reviews
Ayah from guest relations was very friendly and helpful - thank you so much for making our trip so amazing!
Here are a few things that can be better.
1-At the room floor is covered by carpet, that is a terrible idea. If you have a very sensitive noise, it may bother you.
2-There are billiards tables down, and they ask money for it. Come on, guys, in a fiwe star all-inclusive concept, those should be free.
3-all travelers love playing volleyballs. There is not enough attention from the hotel workers at that part. The net is lower than it should be. No one fixes. Two teams can be played at the same time. There is one more playground, but it sets terrible against the sun. So one team would come across the sun always.
The blaring sound of music played in family areas where the staff playing the music couldn’t themselves understand the language used in the lyrics - mostly in English and very indecent language! So the music wasn’t befitting the Islamic concept of the hotel, unfortunately. They could have been segregated eating areas also. It would have helped if there was a detailed briefing of all the provisions/activities provided at the hotel before arriving, maybe sending a video via email explaining on the different activities available at the hotel. I also experienced linguistic racism - although certain staff spoke English and did try to help, the majority of the staff and other members at the hotel were dismissive and wouldn’t communicate properly if you didn’t speak Turkish. I also didn’t like how the services provided by the spa and excursion desks required a lot of haggling and they lacked professionalism and honesty
However, two days after booking, I received an unexpected email from the hotel stating that there had been an error in the pricing and that the cost of my stay had been significantly increased to more than double the initial amount. They gave me an ultimatum: accept the new price within 24 hours or have my reservation cancelled.
I tried to clarify and seek assistance from the hotel's administration but their response was less than professional. They blamed the booking platform and denied responsibility for the issue. I contacted the booking platform for help and they confirmed that the hotel was unwilling to honour the initial reservation price and did not want to take responsibility for the situation.
The hotel did make an offer to try and fix the issue, but it was inadequate and felt insulting and careless, especially considering the abrupt and significant price change. In the end, they cancelled my reservation without notifying me.
I feel it is important to share my experience with others to help future guests be aware of the potential challenges and lack of professionalism they might face when booking with this hotel. I hope this review will encourage the hotel to improve their communication practices and take greater responsibility in their dealings with customers, ensuring transparency and reliability in all future interactions.
