Mavruka Hotel

Hotel itself is fine good breakfast, nice pool, okay rooms. But some of the staff have attitude problems, won’t say good morning back to you. Won’t smile at you, and upon asking for something chucks there hands in the air at another staff member speaking Turkish.

You have to pay £3 extra day just for the safe, £6 if you want a fridge too. But there’s no point in the fridge because they are very strict on no outside drinks in the hotel. The drinks at the bar are extremely expensive, and our door was left open after a room service…and we were out for the day

AVOID AT ALL COST:

I have been a frequent visitor to Oludeniz for the past 15 years, and without a doubt, this is the worst "hotel" I have ever had the misfortune of staying in. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that this establishment has no regard for its guests' comfort or safety. Many of the lights in the hallways were broken, leaving us to navigate in near pitch-black conditions. This is not only inconvenient but also a significant safety hazard.

The room itself was in a deplorable state. My bed had noticeable holes in it, and the curtains were stained, which only added to the overall sense of neglect and disrepair. The breakfast provided was barely adequate, and it was evident that the staff were not interested in their roles; they appeared distant and would clearly rather be anywhere else.

Adding to the frustration, the hotel enforces absurd rules, such as prohibiting guests from bringing their own food and drink, despite there being a shop right next door. This seems like a blatant attempt to force guests to spend more money within the hotel. Moreover, the pool closes at 6 PM, which is utterly unreasonable. In the evening, while other hotels in the area are alive with music and activity until 1 AM, this hotel remains silent and dark, compounding the sense of isolation and neglect.

The only redeeming feature of this hotel is its prime location, situated right next to the main beach and surrounded by other 4 and 5-star hotels. However, this is hardly enough to compensate for the myriad of issues. Even at its relatively low price, the poor service and substandard conditions make it a terrible value. You can easily find far better accommodations for the same price in the area and many of the locals I spoke to often said many of the people staying at Mavruka complained about the service, staff and state of the hotel. Calling it the “hell hotel”.

In summary, I strongly advise against wasting your time and money on this hotel. There are plenty of other options in Oludeniz that offer much better experiences. Avoid this place at all costs.

It's actually very unfortunate because the hotel has a great location and much more potential. The management should be aware that they are in a location in Fethiye with lots of agriculture and homemade products that could be used for a great breakfast buffet. I travel a lot in Turkey and found the hotel's performance very weak and disappointing.

The staff are okay, but they seem rather annoyed because we didn't spend money at the hotel. There's a supermarket right next door where we always got something to drink instead of at the hotel.

- The bed linen is changed approximately every 3 days.
- The towels were very dirty and definitely need to be replaced. When we asked actively, we got new ones immediately.
- The mattress is very uncomfortable and has seen better days.
- The breakfast is very basic, so don't set your expectations too high. There is a selection of olives, tomatoes, cheese, greens, one type of white bread, and an omelet station. There is coffee and black tea as well as a station with cherry and orange juice.
- The strange thing is that there is no water in the hotel, neither in the rooms nor at the breakfast buffet. You are not allowed to take anything up to your room. This seems to be the only hotel in the area with this rule, which is very odd.

All in all, the beach is a 2-minute walk away, but I would avoid this hotel on my next visit.
