Hotel itself is superb, along with the staff. Food is decent, we went as a family of four, wife is vegan and both kids vegetarian, all ate well for 10 nights. Rooms are a little dated but they are clean and I believe due a refurb now the hotel has been taken over. Only negative for me was the airport transfer, almost two hours but once that’s out they way a great location.

I stayed in the Montebello hotel for 7 nights from 31/7/24-7/8/24. The hotel was laid out very well, it was clean and very well maintained. Beautiful resort in a great location, just a 5 minute walk from lots of shops, bars etc. The beach is at the bottom after the short walk through the shops and it is a very nice beach. Should you decide to walk further along you can visit the blue lagoon, it's is about 10-15 mins walk from the hotel, and we'll worth the trip. It'll cost you 50 lira per person for entry. Hotel is not 4 star as suggested when booking. Bedding and towels are old and stained. Hot breakfast is not english breakfast. They charge 5% to pay by card. I don’t quite understand how this place is so highly rated, the staff pick and choose Certain groups of people they want to be friendly with. They offer free cocktails from “7pm-9pm” which we only found out from a family they are close To on our second to last day, but change the time of free cocktails depending on if they like you or not. We checked in at the hotel at half one in the morning and were taken to our room shortly after. We liked our room and had no problems with the cleaning. My daughter and I had a pleasant stay but most of all the staff, 2 sisters in the Health Spa and the female TUI rep was excellent. They were so warm and welcoming and brought my daughter a wonderful surprise birthday cake. I will visit the hotel again.

The hotel is nice, food fine. On a night only one member of staff serves drinks even though there's others behind the bar so you wait ages. After 11.30pm it's one drink per person. Not great when you've got a few of you and ones disabled!

Food was a let down, although there was a variety, it was the same variety every day. More often than not like warm and the beef was as hard as iron. The staff were great, the location was good but why do they serve chilled red wine(spoiled). The entertainment was almost always for children and bingo lovers. Great resort with welcoming staff. We thoroughly enjoyed using the huge aqua park right next to our room and the various different pools around the resort. Food is lovely and changed every night which is a nice add on.

Last day of a fantastic 2 weeks. So sad to be leaving. Stayed in a villa on self catering and it has been amazing. Villas are spacious with plenty room for clothes to be put away. We had 403 which was next to top pool. Plenty of sun beds and parasols for all. Hisoranu only a short walk with loads of great restaurants and pubs. Where you are treated like a member of the family. Amazing holiday accommodation to relax and unwind. Enjoy a glass or two of Hagi's cocktails at the main bar. It has villas and hotel rooms. It has good size villas however, the maintenance is not very good. No wifi in rooms, villas or pool area. Limited in reception. Pool areas are nice size for the hotel size. Never had a problem getting a bed. Didn't eat at the hotel however, it looked nice. Prices for drinks are pretty much same as the bars.

This is a great holiday destination for families. One of the best hotel entertainment I have seen over many years. The whole place is lovely and staff are very friendly. Plenty of restaurants and bars up and down the main road. I would not recommend the 'orka private beach'. This is just a mud pit away from the main beach.
