We stayed as a couple from Denmark for 4 nights. The hotel is very beautiful. It is safe with the Masais/guards that are looking out for you. 🌅
The hotel is very clean.
The food is very good and safe to eat, even if you are not used to the food in Africa.
The staff are very friendly and sweet. They are super helpful. The owner and manager are always present at the hotel and will help you with any questions. ☀️
The beach is a short walk (under 10 min) from the hotel. 🏝️
Overall we had a great time and recommend it to everyone visiting Zanzibar.☀️

We recently stayed at Stella Seconda and I wanted to share my review. First of all, I’d like to thank Ivan, the owner of the hotel, such a kind, relaxed and helpful gentleman. He runs a beautiful hotel, the food is delicious, there’s always great music playing and it’s truly a wonderful place to relax.
I also booked a massage twice during my stay and both were excellent and highly recommended.
We also visited The Nest Hotel in Paje with a day pass. Even though it is a 5 star property, it doesn’t come close to Stella Seconda. I can wholeheartedly recommend Stella Seconda to everyone. Thank you once again!

Absolutely love this little boutique hotel and the owner (s) even more (including the furry little ones!). They’re always happy to help, even with the tiniest requests. It’s peaceful, charming, and has that home away from home feeling.

Visít 3 Times during holiday. Fitst time the food was excellent, but second and 3rd time we had to wait fir 2 pizza more than an hour. Our pizzas where too sport in the oven and wheŕe not crispy enough :(

Went to a dinner there today. Italian restaurant with Polish menu. Weird, but we thought OK. 11$ for a pizza seemed much, but we gave it a try. Small fresh juice 5$. We were the only customers there from 18:20 to 19:10, main dinner time elsewhere.
The bill was supposed to be 16$, which the first cashier calculated to 32.000 TSH (16x2.000), but the second cashier (chief/boss) insisted on the bill to be 35.200 TSH (16x2.200), and rounded it to 36.000 TSH in the end. He printed the bill and then kept it to himself. Very untrustworthy, we will not go there again.

Wonderful Italian restaurant with proper Italian food, Italian music and Italian speaking local servers. It’s pretty busy at night time. I suggest to make a reservation beforehand. The food is absolutely delicious. I recommend their pizzas! They’re offering accommodations with a terrace, an outdoor pool and free WiFi which works very well!

Good service, nice decoration but the food was giving us stomach pain. We both had the mashroom soup and felt horrible after that. Although i live in Zanzibar and am used to bad food but this was not good at all. Furthermore the staff smelled like sweat which was horrible. At the end they gave us a diacount on one dish but this did not help unfortunately with our stomach.. Very bad

Beautiful hotel with beautiful people.
Not to mention the food - I think it was the best in the whole Zanzibar.
At least for us at that time. Fresh - straight from the oven.
Peaceful place, there is a bit of the walk ( 5 minutes ) to the beach through the village.
