The place is very big and the swimming pool was very clean. Right next to the beach.
We didn't pay much, maybe that's why our mattress was really really hard and with dust.
The manager was really nice to us.
I would advice it if you don't want to spend much and want something next to the beach.

Stayed for one night. The room was okay, I slept really well. The bed was semi-comfortable, the bathroom was modern and clean, the pool and the territory were very nice. I liked the overall vibe and the fact that it is right on the beach. I loved the night walk alongside the beach!
Didn't try out the restaurant, only had the breakfast there in the morning - it was okay.

THAT’S IT for the good part
-I believe we had a Standard room, which was small in size, and had a small window with metal bars on it.
-All the furniture/amenities in the room were VERY OLD, and NEED a THOROUGH CLEANING
-The bathroom had some sort of chemical smell
Not worth the price. Have been in Zanzibar for a week, and stayed in different hotels/homestays, and by far this has been the worst for the price/value ratio.

Ifa is in a quiet location, with direct access to the beach, what makes it very nice and convenient. The pool is looking at the beach and has nice sun beds.
Staff are really nice, but I felt they lack the sense of service, kind of training on hospitality to improve the service.
Also, the hotel needs some maintenance and updating. Our bed was very uncomfortable, due to the fact the mattress is very old. The ceiling in the shower was painted recently and the paint was falling
because of a licking shower head.
I must say, the reason why we booked this hotel is because we booked very late and was the only available, but the value for money is really low compared to other places that charge the same rate in the same location.
Is important to note, in the hotel alcohol is not allowed due to the religious believes of the owner. So staff is allowed to sell beer by their own initiative, but this makes very uninviting to chill and have a drink in the pool or the restaurant.

The hotel has all the necessary amenities and have a great beach front location close to local attractions and restaurants. It also has a nice swimming pool. The hotel restaurant has well priced meals and serve large portions. No alcohol on premises due to Muslim ownership.
