Hyatt Place Anchorage-Midtown

Really impressed with the cleanliness and the super lovely staff. It’s almost too swanky for Anchorage. Looks like a hotel you would see in downtown SEATTLE. It’s very affordable too for what you get! Breakfast included and they do have an Alaska resident rate! My kids loved the pool and went 2-3 times per day. The restaurant was good by hotel standards. The only reason I didn’t give it a 5 was because we had to take our trash out daily, we never got new towels (and they only give you 4 to begin with), and the soaps were lacking. We also had to ask for hand soap and toilet paper at the front desk. We ate at the restaurant several times and the server never gave us water. Coffee in the morning is also “meh”.

Ultra clean,modern and bed/sheets oh so comfortable, better than hilton/Marriott bedding. Staff are all a delight to work with and like I said it's a beautiful property with a well designed lobby.

Nice hotel. Breakfast was very good. Nice lobby. Swimming pool was open and nice, although could use a cleaning. Our key cards did stop working 15 minutes before noon which was annoying when we were trying to pack. Thankfully my 5 year old could open the door. Also there was tons of garbage under the beds and couch. But the rest of the room was clean.

Beautiful lobby. Checking in was easy and fast. My room was very clean. The pool was clean. I didn’t get a chance to have breakfast but it smelled great. Would definitely stay here again. And I will!

I have stayed at numerous and various Hyatt properties around the world and this is probably one of my favorite Hyatt Places! The hotel is in an excellent location and my room was clean and in fantastic condition. The hotel staff were very courteous, helpful, accommodating and very professional. I would like to recognize Jasmine and Hannah at the front desk. They ensured my stay was comfortable and pleasant. Hyatt as a whole very rarely disappoints me; this Hyatt experience was memorable, thus making a not so pleasant journey to Anchorage an overall relaxing and enjoyable trip.
