Hampton Inn Patriots Point

We had a very good experience here for a work trip that my wife and daughter accompanied me on. The room was comfortable and quiet and the hotel itself was nicely updated. Breakfast was included in the mornings and while there isn’t a ton of selection (especially for vegans) it’s nice to have something to grab before you leave the hotel for the day.

The staff was very friendly during each interaction, especially when we had an issue with our shower curtain rod falling off. We were able to relocate to a new room right away without any hassle at all.

We stayed at Hampton Inn Charleston/Mt. Pleasant-Patriots Point recently while visiting the Charleston area. This hotel has a lot going for it. First, the rooms were clean and comfortable. The bed was very nice and there was an effective black-out screen that kept light from leaking into the room in the early morning hours. Second, the staff was friendly. We did not have a lot of interaction with staff since we checked in via the app, but the times we did interact were pleasant. Third, the breakfast was good. Hot coffee, crisp waffles, savory eggs and sausage, cereal, fruit, and more made our breakfast experience enjoyable. Fourth, easy access and ample parking. The hotel is right off the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, very easy to get to from Charleston. Fifth, the location is excellent. The bridge to and from Charleston is so convenient that we could be in the heart of Charleston in just a few minutes. Really, for our overnight stay there was nothing not to like about this hotel. It is definitely on our short list of hotels to use when visiting the Charleston area!

The hotel was in a great location and had a beautiful exterior! I'm from Canada, so I always get extra excited when I see palm trees lol. Zero complaints with the room. However, service was lacking. Some of the staff were nice and others were extremely unpleasant. Also, the breakfast/dining area could use some attention. It's extremely bland, and updating the furniture would go a long way in making the space more inviting.

The hotel is tucked in a quiet area in patriots point, yet still close to shopping and a multitude of restaurants.
The hotel is clean and bright, and the staff that we encountered were friendly.
The rooms are a little small, the beds were relatively comfortable, and the water pressure was awesome.
Overall a good hotel.

We liked staying at this hotel. The location is conveniently located in between the Isle of Palms and downtown Charleston. There are lots of restaurants near by. Our hotel room was clean. We were on the first floor and when we first got there I noticed it had a faint musty smell, but I stopped noticing it after a while. The breakfast was just okay, but I appreciated that it was included. We brought our dog with us and there were plenty of grassy areas to take him to around the building. The price was affordable compared to other places. I would consider staying here again for sure!

Breakfast was excellent. Varity, clean, quality. One of the best hotel breakfasts we've been too.

It was a little hard to find the correct turn to get into the hotel because they are doing construction, but that's not the hotels fault. The rooms were very clean and everything was perfect in the room. Staff was lovely! They were always polite and they engaged in some lovely conversation with us. Breakfast was great. Another choice for the hot breakfast would be nice though.
