I really want to gate keep and not tell that this is my new favorite place to stay in Charleston when visiting but they really deserve the accolades. Our king balcony suite was perfect. We heard absolutely no outdoor noises so this building is incredibly well built and solid. The staff was accommodating, welcoming, and helpful- even texted to ask if they could help me with a driver etc since they knew...
We spent 4 nights last week celebrating a special event. We were very impressed with the French Quarter Inn and highly recommend it to other travelers. The service, ambience, room, food, location, etc. were all superb. We look forward to returning on a future visit to Charleston.
Exceptional Stay at the French Quarters Inn! We had an incredible experience at the French Quarters Inn in Charleston. From the moment we arrived, the customer service was outstanding. The concierge and front desk staff were friendly, accommodating, and made everything seamless. I planned a surprise birthday weekend for my fiancé, and the staff went above and beyond to help coordinate every detail...
Stayed here in August 2024 and had an absolutely amazing experience. The customer service here is top notch and it flowed through every single staff member there. They did everything they could to make our stay great. The breakfast that is included is phenomenal - not your typical basic breakfast. There were 4 or 5 different options and all were really good. It's a boutique hotel, so smaller and...
My wife and I absolutely loved our stay at this gem of a hotel! Nestled in a prime location, it's just steps away from a bustling market and a short, delightful stroll to incredible restaurants and shopping. The rooms are a true haven of comfort, ensuring a restful night's sleep even in the heart of the action. The staff goes above and beyond with their friendly and attentive service. One highlight...
Best hotel I've ever stayed at. Honestly they ruined me for what I expected from customer service. I wish this hotel staff worked in every hotel. Complimentary drinks and cheese when you walk in, a few foreign currency tips, and it makes for an exciting experience. Don't tip and you'll still get the best hotel entry you've ever had. Check-in is at the top of the stairs. I wish I could...

The resort is nice but is limited on food choices. There are 3 bars on the property and one restaurant with limited choices of options. I recommend you rent a vehicle so that you can leave. The water taxi is cool and will bring you to downtown Charleston. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't like the fact that there was no housekeeping and I know it's because of covid. The views are amazing...
The hotel is fine, the service is fine, the rooms are fine, the facilities are fine. Just missing the attention to detail that one would expect. We had no hot water for 24hrs. No-one proactively reached out (apparently it affected the whole floor) nor was there an apology once it was resolved. Great places set themselves apart in how they recover from issues. This is not one of those places, but you...
Very interesting history facts... just be sure to take your best walking shoes if you visit the USS Yorktown and Laffey... also I might add, just being very honest: don't expect to tour all the floors of the Yorktown if you quite healthy, energetic, slim person.. Our son is almost 6 feet tall (165 lbs, 32 inches at waist) hit his head a couple of times due to very tight spaces and very steep and...
Rent a boat or take a water taxi to Charleston.
I used the Charleston Resort and Marina to host a 2-day offsite meeting for 50+ people. We had several out of town employees stay at the Beach Resort and everyone loved the rooms and the VIEW!!! Everything went perfectly. From the event coordination to the hotel reservation to the food. The ladies I worked with were so nice and really good at what they do. We had a lot of last minute changes and they...
This hotel was wonderful. Huge bathrooms, with tub, 2 sinks, makeup area, with chair. Glass shower door, not a curtain.Decor is very tasteful, bedding, you can just feel the thread count, amazing. We had a fireplace in our room. Desk with hand painted art on it. Super clean, very specious rooms. Great balcony. Overlooks the marina, harbor. They have watertaxi, right there. Also they have small trolley...

The location was perfect. Right in the middle of shopping and restaurants. Easy walking distance to everything.
The location was fine. There were no meals or staff.
Have stayed twice now. If you have a larger family, more space and multiple bathrooms are needed. Well maintained and nicely equipped.
Location on King was great, so convenient to everything historic Charleston has to offer. We parked the car when we arrived and didn't use it again til departure. Everything was very walkable. We booked a 2 bedroom suite and the amount of space was unbelievable. Large open living area and kitchen with 2 comfortable bedrooms with en suite baths. Everything was clean and updated. Our only hiccup was...
Excellent location. Reasonable rates. Easy check in procedures
good place to stay. location is great. absence of elevator made it a bit difficult to get the luggage in and out of the unit. The unit itself was immaculately decorated and everything was very pleasantly clean.

This was an adorable hotel with great service. The room was fairly small, but comfortable and the bed was nice as well. There was something a bit off about the television. It wouldnt display properly, so, there was a line across the screen. I was staying here for a conference and the other attendees at the same conference had the same complaint.
Great hotel. They treat you like royalty here. I'm spoiled forever. Absolutely lovely accommodations. Service is amazing!
A beautiful hotel.. very historic. Very friendly staff.. clean.. perfect service.. right in the middle of the fun city.. walking distance to everything.. I can't say enough good things.
Every person employed here during our stay were pleasant and helpful. Gaston our bellman, went above and beyond for us. He also retrieved ice for us so we could enjoy a cold drink. The Decor needs update, room is large and comfortable.
The hotel was phenomenal. The staff at the hotel were extremely accommodating. My wife and I are expecting twin girls, and the staff was very accommodating with a room that had a refrigerator. The management staff also allowed us to leave the hotel early (due to the bad snow storm) without a penalty. Will go back in the near future to hopefully not get our trip cut short by mother nature! Thank you...
Just got back from three wonderful nights at the Mill House Grand..and "Grand" it is...we used one day to drive into Savannah and back because of the short distance. It was nice to have a valet park your car after a long day of sightseeing.. Every thing was perfect. It is within walking distance of EVERYTHING Charleston including some great restaurants, if you choose not to dine at the hotel.....

Rooms were nicely done and loved the pillows. Need was pretty comfortable albeit not as comfy as home. All the staff were wonderful to work with and so very helpful. They did their best to make our event and stay successful.
The bar was awesome and open late. The entire lobby and area to the rooms was super cool. The room was clean, and the bathroom was very nice and posh with a huge walk in shower with waterfall shower head. The bed was very comfortable and the location of this hotel was very convenient as I wanted to shop at Tanger Outlet Mall the next day, which literally across the street. For being by the airport...
Beautiful hotel with relaxing rooms and very comfortable beds. We stayed here a few nights on our vacation and it was well worth it. The staff was very helpful, room rates were reasonable and the rooms were perfect. Plenty of room to relax and we slept very soundly on the pillowtop beds. We will absolutely be coming back to this location in the future and highly recommend it. Their shuttle to and from...
The building itself was beautiful, but it is not being well maintained. This not an issue in the rooms, which are spotless, but the common areas such as around the stairs need work. Crown Plaza hotels have some of the most comfortable rooms I have ever slept in and this one is no exception. The added free breakfast is a welcomed bonus!
Our client Mike Butler is a touring comedian who recently stayed here while performing in Charleston. The bedroom was perfect, clean, quiet, and well decorated, and the staff was very friendly especially since it was so late while checking in. There is a bar/restaurant on-site as well if you have the time to grab a meal or a drink before you have to hit the road. Mike happily recommends this property...
The Crowne Plaza in Charleston, SC near the outlet mall was one of the best stays we have ever had. We are touring the country with our band and they were very friendly and let us check in early. Beautiful hotel in the heat of downtown Charleston. A quick walk away from the shops, pictured. Was here for a wedding and the staff were more than accommodating. I look forward to coming back!
Wonderful views and a great location for downtown sites such as the market and art galleries galore. Comfortable beds, clean room and a great staff (the best of any Marriott I have had). Would recommend checking out the near by restaurants such as Cru Cafe and magnolias where reservations are highly recommend.
The search for a good wedding venue in Charleston, South Carolina was extremely challenging, but fortunately we found The Renaissance in the heart of the downtown historic district. Beautiful hotel. Really great location central to all of downtown. There is a Tesla charger right outside the main entrance. The bar is fantastic and the bartender was so awesome- always allowing samples and really good pours! I can't remember her name but Fri and Saturday evening shift - amazing! Quality hotel experience in a good location. The rooms were of good size, but the bathrooms we're not laid out as efficiently as many of the Marriott properties we have stayed in. The beds were nice, but not as comfortable as most Marriott hotels. The in-room TVs were large and exceeded expectations.
Great location (right off King), bad service (we had to ask for things multiple times over several hours before they were delivered to the room, i.e. Extra towels, and the front desk staff wasn't helpful), comfortable rooms (clean and spacious). The restaurant, 1Kept, has amazing food. The maids bang the doors of the rooms they're cleaning against the open deadbolt thing as they go in and out, which...

Decent Hyatt - I recommend getting a car, not a lot to walk to, unless you enjoy longer walks (not) on the beach.
Was a nice room. Friendly staff. Considering its location, felt like vehicle was safe. I would stay there again.
Isn't as good as it used to be. The TV inputs in some of the rooms don't work, and they started serving breakfast later. They also have irritating music playing to loud in the lobby. And the front desk workers aren't the brightest people.
Absolutely incredible hotel!!! Highly recommend! P.S. Elsa at the front desk was so helpful and kind!
I was only there for a very short time. The desk staff was helpful and friendly. The room was spacious and clean.
Clean and decent service. Asked for late checkout and was told it was fine. Then a week later was charged for it after being told there was no charge since no one else was going to be in the room.

I attended a wedding, which included a cocktail hour, and reception, all held in different areas of the Francis Marion. 2 level rooftop bar, with great views and a breeze. I only had a mixed drink and it was okay. No AC or air circulation in the bathroom, so it definitely gets gross in there. I would recommend going to see a different view of Charleston.

The Vendue highlights the artistic originality of Charleston. Offering two main, publicly open gallery's at a time, there's always something to look at. Sprinkled throughout the halls are the best works of multiple artists hand picked by the Vendue art department. There's a resident artist as well, Fred, who paints in the bar lounge on the main floor on Tuesdays. It's a very unique experience....
You can access the hotel rooftoo via a small elevator. There was about a 5 minute wait to ride elevator on the day I visited. I just went for a few drinks and didn't order any food. I recommend checking this out while visiting Charleston.

We were notified of an “upgrade” at check-in, but our room was a bit dark and down a hallway we shared with only a service area very close to courtyard. Noise was an issue unfortunately as a result of equipment running as well as just a feeling of a lack of privacy. We also got to hear the individual...
Good location. Public parking only in a garage, but is convenient across the street. Walls and ceiling are thin and people walking around above us kept us awake half the night. When we finally did get to sleep, the paper blinds (yes, paper... Folded accordian style) fell off the back door, sliding down the door and startled us awake again. Nothing special about the hotel, but certainly nowhere near...
Fantastic stay at the Elliott House Inn! Newly updated rooms, great customer service, and wonderful location. Complimentary breakfast delivered to the room, as well as nightly wine and cheese in the courtyard are great touches that elevate this B&B above local hotels.
Great location! Love the amenities and courtyard. Free bikes and wine/cheese reception. Rooms aren't anything special, but are perfect for what we needed. They aren't super clean. Our breakfast sat outside the entire weekend with ants crawling all over it. All I can say is "location, location, location!"

Our recent stay at Inn at I'On, Ascend Hotel Collection during my daughter's wedding weekend was nothing short of spectacular. The exceptional service and attention to detail made the entire experience unforgettable. I want to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the incredible staff, with a special mention of David, Kiera, and Amy. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome we received set the tone...
I am not one who does many Google Reviews as I never feel they are worth it... BUT in this case I need to let everyone far and wide know that this Inn and staff are absolute MAGIC!! If there was an opportunity to increase the 5 Stars to more I surely would. We stayed at the Inn for 7 nights last week as our son got married in Mount Pleasant and the whole bridal party and immediate family members stayed...
We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this lovely boutique inn. We loved our corner room and appreciated how David and Amy made us feel so welcomed. Would definitely highly recommend a visit!
Beautiful little inn. The room was spacious and comfortable and felt like home. We checked in late on our wedding night and were left instructions on how to get into the building and into the room. We were only there for maybe 12 hours and really only slept and showered there, but it was a great experience regardless. The bed was extremely comfortable and had a luxurious feeling. The bathroom and...
Wow! I don't even know where to begin. This place is amazing! The rooms were very well decorated, super spacious and the staff was just incredible. Amy and David made our stay so inviting and comfortable. My daughter held her wedding across the street at the meeting room last weekend and it was just perfect. We had 35 family and friends attend and most of us stayed in the hotel. We held the reception...
