We did not stay here but will plan on it in the future. We popped in to check out the Christmas festivities and trees. We even got to meet Santa. My photos and videos offer the experience to you. Enjoy!
Always enjoy our stay here and they are wonderful gracious hosts! Very kind and hospitable greetings from all the staff. Very lovely front desk manager Morgan was so sweet to us when we arrived! Felt like family and our room & meals were perfect. Can't wait for our next trip 😀
I was expecting more since the hotel has a 5 star rating. The carpet had stains and the furniture did as well. The customer service was great and the location was ideal as it was right across the street from the market and within walking distance of several attractions. Overall, if you are looking for luxury, I would not suggest this hotel, but if you are looking for a great location, I would suggest...
This hotel is obviously very nice in many ways. Absolutely beautiful building, very upscale shopping and dining, lovely rooms, and wonderful staff. Unfortunately, we are visiting during reconstruction and all day long we have to listen to the sound of heavy construction from our room on the 3rd floor. Hammering, drilling, maybe a jackhammer? It’ll calm down for an hour or so here and there, but basically...
Can't say enough about the staff at Charleston Place. Check-in to check-out everything was fantastic. We stayed on the club level had excellent food and enjoyed the cocktails with Theresa, Arnold and all the other members of the team. I wish i knew their names to recognize all. Old fashioned were top notch! Housekeeping and Alonzo's team were great as well. We took our time each day leaving,...
We felt right at home. We booked a car to a lot of places and each time there was fresh water bottles for us inside. Also, every night they knocked to ask if we needed ice or more water. The abundant free water is a HUGE perk. We also loved the staff who were very friendly and happy to help. the bed was very comfortable and clean and bathroom was very modern and spacious.

The hotel was great and the staff were really good. My room was very nice with a comfortable bed. The pool looked lovely and the outside area was good to sit in. Having a coffee bar was great in the morning.
Beautiful lobby........nice bar (both rooftop and inside). Delicious and healthy food options in restaurant. Rooms are a little small but beds super comfortable! Staff nice and informative. A short Uber ride away from downtown if you are not walkers like my husband and I.........enjoyed the stay!
Needs updating, but the view is tremendous and the people are very nice. The van goes to the historic area, which is amazing. The view from the Penthouse level shows all the water around the peninsula. Currently, there's a lot of construction going on, so you might find it annoying or entertaining. The "Rooftop" bar is on the third floor, but has great views of the water and the construction is on...
I would have given a 4 1/2 star but that was not an option. The hotel was nice and clean. Everything was great with the exception of their mobile check in and request. I attempted check in using the mobile app and it didn't work. Also, when I requested some items via the mobile chat and there was a delay with staff. I called the assistance line and no one picked up. I ended up stopping staff in the...
I found every aspect of my stay outstanding. I was traveling by myself, but because of the staff, I never felt alone. The front desk acknowledged me by name every time I passed through the lobby and always asked if they could do anything for me. The decor is bright and upscale. The bar and restaurant created a welcoming vibe. My room was immaculate and comfy. The concierge floor is the way to...
Fine, established hotel near the harbor. Southern gentility abounds from the front desk, maids, support staff, bars and restaurants. Although there was much heavy construction nearby, noise didn't start until about 7 am. Breakfast in the Concierge Suite for frequent Marriott travelers was disappointing as it featured "rubbery," overcooked scrambled eggs. Although the hotel is older, it was in reasonably...

I absolutely loved everything about my stay in this hotel! The room & amenities were top notch, the fitness center was amazing and the customer service was impeccable. Kelly the bartender was the best, along with Becca & Neida being fantastic servers too. This will definitely be my preferred choice of hotels to stay in next time I visit Charleston! Thank you for an amazing experience 💜
My daughter and I had an incredible experience at this hotel, huge thanks to Maria, the front desk associate. She was very friendly, accommodating, and offered different options. She went above and beyond to make our stay special and it truly is an experience. She asked what was my daughter's favorite color and later at evening asked her to look outside, the whole hotel was glowing pink! My daughter...
Our stay here at the North Charleston Marriott was amazing! Shannon made sure we were well taken care of. We stopped in for a same day reservation and Shannon not only greeted us but made sure we felt at ease that they had room for us. Her hospitality was second to none and I can't say enough how she made our stay here in Charleston that much more pleasant. We recommend anyone stay here!
This is a top-tier Marriott! Latricia at the front desk is a gem and gave us the warmest of welcomes. The property is freshly-renovated and the rooms were smartly designed, comfortable and quiet. In particular the beds and showers were sublime and as we were here for a concert, the blackout curtains and comfortable accommodations ensured we could rest up. The rooms were also spotlessly clean and housekeepers...
The customer service at this hotel is amazing!! I had reached out via chat for random requests and my questions were answered quickly and kindly. When we arrived to the airport Troy picked us up-along with a TON of luggage. He was super friendly and loaded us all in the shuttle. He gave tons of recommendations for things to do and was really kind. The ladies checking us in were awesome. Shannon, Maria...
This is a very stylish hotel! The rooms are very clean and nice and the staff is very attentive. But not everything is great. The lobby has perfume that's frankly overwhelming, breakfast is expensive, and I hated how close the king bed was to the desk. You got maybe 2 feet but I kept hitting my legs on the corners. Still, it's a good hotel that if stay at again.

Staying on the 4th floor is amazing for the view! (Not so much when the elevator isn’t working) Sophie at the front desk was AMAZING at customer service!!!! I would hire her in a heartbeat given the opportunity. The room was clean and very comfortable. Quiet with all the details you would want in a southern home. I would recommend taking a bath in the jetted tub and duping your toes in the sand. Perfect...
My first time visiting this place, even though it was for work I will say, I love it. I had a nice view. The front desk is very professional and helpful. The rooms are nice and clean. The only issue I had was the bathtub door, the water was going all out when showering. The bathroom needs a bit of more lighting but after that everything else was great, I will definitely will return and I definitely...
We had a great experience our family took our first vacation and drove 14 hours. From the time we got to the resort the staff was amazing my son received a cute turtle and he was so excited since his birthday was the next day. He was so happy! The ice cream for the kids the pools the cleanliness ext. I could go on! The view from our balcony was perfect and relaxing!
Breakdown on the room. Beware of the pictures they post of a room you book. You may not get what was shown. We booked a harbor view king with a balcony. The picture showed 2 chairs in between the bed and the TV for sitting. We get to the room and no chairs and about 6ft of space gone. The balcony had water standing on it because the drain was covered in sand and debris. We went back to the front desk...
The resort is nice but is limited on food choices. There are 3 bars on the property and one restaurant with limited choices of options. I recommend you rent a vehicle so that you can leave. The water taxi is cool and will bring you to downtown Charleston. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I didn't like the fact that there was no housekeeping and I know it's because of covid. The views are amazing...
The hotel is fine, the service is fine, the rooms are fine, the facilities are fine. Just missing the attention to detail that one would expect. We had no hot water for 24hrs. No-one proactively reached out (apparently it affected the whole floor) nor was there an apology once it was resolved. Great places set themselves apart in how they recover from issues. This is not one of those places, but you...

This was an adorable hotel with great service. The room was fairly small, but comfortable and the bed was nice as well. There was something a bit off about the television. It wouldnt display properly, so, there was a line across the screen. I was staying here for a conference and the other attendees at the same conference had the same complaint.
Great hotel. They treat you like royalty here. I'm spoiled forever. Absolutely lovely accommodations. Service is amazing!
A beautiful hotel.. very historic. Very friendly staff.. clean.. perfect service.. right in the middle of the fun city.. walking distance to everything.. I can't say enough good things.
Every person employed here during our stay were pleasant and helpful. Gaston our bellman, went above and beyond for us. He also retrieved ice for us so we could enjoy a cold drink. The Decor needs update, room is large and comfortable.
The hotel was phenomenal. The staff at the hotel were extremely accommodating. My wife and I are expecting twin girls, and the staff was very accommodating with a room that had a refrigerator. The management staff also allowed us to leave the hotel early (due to the bad snow storm) without a penalty. Will go back in the near future to hopefully not get our trip cut short by mother nature! Thank you...
Just got back from three wonderful nights at the Mill House Grand..and "Grand" it is...we used one day to drive into Savannah and back because of the short distance. It was nice to have a valet park your car after a long day of sightseeing.. Every thing was perfect. Overall the Emeline has a lot of positives- it’s located in a good location close to shopping, it has a wonderful restaurant downstairs, and a coffee shop and offers valet parking which is helpful. The rooms are very nice and the bathrooms are very modern (you can get a HOT shower here), you can tell they thought of everything when setting up the rooms. However, we experienced some challenges during...
Super cute hotel, the decor and staff were so friendly. It smelt great throughout the hotel too. Only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because the smoke alarm was directly over the bed and was blinking all night. Once asleep, you don’t notice but it was very annoying when trying to fall asleep. Also, when the air would come on it would sound like someone was coming into our room- like the scanning...
Lovely hotel. The food was outstanding! Perfect location, the gift shop had rare items, staff were professional and prompt. Could not give it five stars because small details in the room were not attended too. Furnishings needed cleaned up a bit. Sofa stains, paint chips, some dirty walls. We were cheerfully surprised by a nice bottle of champagne in our room to celebrate a birthday. We will return
I recently stayed at the Emeline Hotel while in Charleston for work, and I cannot recommend it enough! This beautiful hotel is perfectly located in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore everything Charleston has to offer. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous and spacious, with a modern yet cozy feel that made me feel right at home. One of the standout features was the coffee and water station...
We loved it! The service and staff 👌 Our room was upgraded which started our anniversary off just right. The room was beautiful, we loved the record player! The concierge was even able to get us dinner reservations at a restaurant we could not 🙌 above and beyond Emeline 👏 We will be back! 💗

Room and bathroom were dated but clean. Good AC that kept the room cool. The shuttle driver was professional and got us to the airport quickly and safely.
Hotel was fine for a 2 night stay. Got in after midnight and location close to the airport makes it really nice, only about 45 minutes from touchdown to getting in bed. Was waiting for the elevator after arriving and a giant roach crawled out of the elevator frame. Didn’t have issues with bugs anywhere else though. Breakfast was good, especially the citrus-peach juice. Room was very nice and the bed...
The staff is professional and polite. We arrived at the airport, but the shuttle had a delay. So, after 3 calls, we got a taxi and requested a reimbursement from the staff. So that turned out well. The rooms were a bit snug, but well appointed. The staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. The pool was nice, if a bit cold, during our visit. The hotel is very close to the convention center, and fairly centrally located to Charleston, Mt. Pleasant and Folly Beach
The staff here was very pleasant and friendly. We arrived about 20 minutes prior to checking (who would have thought it wasn't until 4PM since most are 3PM?). Rooms were small but will appointed and very comfortable. Meetings spaces were great. Fantastic location..... A short walk from some of the best restaurants in Charleston. I recommend eating at Halls Chophouse and Darlings Oyster Bar.
One of the top hotels in downtown Charleston. Great staff and crew. Clean rooms and bathrooms. Located in the heart of downtown Charleston. Easy to get to and from all the destinations in and around town. Plenty of indoor parking. Room rates are competitive with other high end hotels in the Charleston area. Older building but with the recent renovation the Francis Marion is a great choice for your...
I attended a wedding, which included a cocktail hour, and reception, all held in different areas of the Francis Marion. The room where the wedding ceremony took place had some kind of white applique type design/decoration on the upper walls, which along with the high ceilings and large chandeliers, gave it a very regal feel. It also had a relatively small balcony in the upper rear of the room. The...

We had an outstanding stay in Hotel Bennett: excellent staff - only to mention a few of them: world’s best concierge team with Cassandra, Kevin and Joseph, very nice and helpful service in „Gabrielle“ . We enjoyed our stay a lot and will come back for sure !
We highly recommend the Hotel Bennett. From the moment we pulled up to the hotel we were warmly greeted by bellman Kevin. He made us feel very welcome by giving us a tour of the features of our room. This hotel is not what it used to be. If looking for a historic establishment with a nod to Charleston’s history, this is not your place. This was our first visit to Charleston, and we selected the Spectator Hotel. The hotel does not have a pool or restaurant on site, but they make up for it with butler service, continental breakfast options, and daily turndown service. We really enjoyed our stay here. I’m literally sitting in the bed here now and have had such a wonderful experience that I felt necessary to write my review while I’m still in the luxury moment that The Spectator provides. Nice hotel located at the north end of the historic district. The free Shuttle bus stops in front of the hotel, but it's easy walking for most of the downtown. Pour, their rooftop bar is awesome for drinks and views.
Location, location, location! Very nice hotel close to everything downtown. Staff was very friendly and the hotel sits back from King Street a boy so the street noise was not too bad. Will definitely stay again.
Have stayed there before. Nice rooms, very clean and the staff very helpful. As expected prices are a bit high however you are in downtown Charleston. They have a parking garage attached and provide valet parking, although you can park yourself. I think it is $7/day
The workers were all very friendly. The hotel was in good shape and the room was nice. The bathroom was clean but the shower was a bit disgusting. It was a fully tiled shower (floor and walls). The grout in the floor tile was white around the edges and brownish in the center. The floor was not sloped properly and because of this water pooled in the one corner about half an inch deep.

Always extremely clean! We had breakfast added to our room price. The buffet was very good. Enough variety for someone who has picky tastes . It’s very relaxing to sit at any window and look out across and see the old “Cooper River Bridge”, which I ran once and Fort Sumter.
The hotel has been well-maintained over the years. It has been renovated and feels fairly modern. The beds are very comfortable and the staff are kind. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant that provides a lovely view of the river. The shuttle to the downtown area is a great feature. Our only complaints are that the shower didn't drain well and that a group of loud motorcyclists hung out right outside...
Nice, clean hotel in a good location. Was bummed that you couldn't actually go out on the balcony. That was the whole reason we had chosen this hotel so that we had a place to sit after our kids had gone to bed.

Stayed Aug 1st, 2023. I’m a return guest largely in part based on this location’s outstanding customer service. Once again, they did not disappoint. Front desk agent Miss Marilyn was so kind and friendly, she instantly brought a smile to my face after a long and tiring journey. She was professional, thorough and very efficient. I’m hoping management reviews this for a well deserved “pat on the back...
When we were looking at different hotels and their amenities in the area, this one stood out the most. This includes the great reviews that were listed online. The biggest point for us to stay here was that it had the indoor pool and jacuzzi. This was for the kids' mini vacation. When we got into the pool, it was very cold. With it being an indoor pool, we assumed it would have been heated. Now it...
The hotel is great and the staff is wonderful, I would stay here without any hesitation. However, being a Diamond member the Garden Inn was a hotel where I could get a better breakfast service complimentary cooked to order, with the new credit vouchers this is no longer the case. The voucher is not much daily and the amount has to be charged to your room and then the credit appears, with my company...

Great central location. The breakfast was included. We made homemade waffles. The pool area was nice too?
Excellent location but this place is all about the staff. I stayed on my own on the 24th February nothing was too much trouble the staff were friendly and happy and nothing was nothing was too much trouble. They had good local knowledge. The hotel was clean would love to go back soon. K x
Great location, clean rooms, might need a little attentions on the bathrooms ( wheb we arrived it was not really greatly clean). Love the staff, really helpful. Downside no private parking lot, so if you stay for a long period of time that may be expensive.
No mini fridge in the room and there was a strange LOUD noise that occurred every few minutes in the morning (maybe from construction?). But overall, a nice stay and a great location. Very friendly staff. Parking garage is nice too
Very pleasant employees and super clean. Had a glitch w/ heat/ac but they fixed it asap. Only complaint was no soap dish on bathroom counter so that's pretty good.
Stayed here a couple times and really liked it. Staff are extremely friendly, and has a great breakfast buffet. Rooms are nice and pool is pretty good. Easy parking, though not all that close to town.

A generally fantastic facility to stay at, from the rooms to the pool to the views. Very clean and beautifully decorated. Also, very convenient to downtown Charleston (10 minute drive), not to mention the Fish House restaurant and Patriot Point Maritime Museum, both next door within walking distance. Or, you can take the water taxi directly from the hotel pier to downtown Charleston. A few downers...

This was like the best mini vacation. Loved it. The food was delicious. Staff was very attentive and courteous.

Won’t stay anywhere else when we come back to SC! Such a beautiful place. Large room great staff. Definitely recommend
It’s a good hotel. The gate at the front so annoying. The brown from the balcony is so good. The hot tub wasn’t working when we were there unfortunately. The pool is big so there’s plenty of room to swim around. A bar near the pool for drinks. They will let you take bikes out and ride around which is cool. Not really a beach just a patch of grass with sand on top of it. The best part is the little...

The Location was great!! The shuttle that took us to town was amazing and the drivers (Dean and Eddie) were awesome!!
Check in and check out was so easy and everyone was so cordial and courteous. Even the gentleman who drove the shuttle to downtown Charleston was incredibly accomodating! Our room was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff on the floors were helpful, also. The young lady who checked us out was so bubbly and vivacious!! We definitely will return!!
We stay in Charleston frequently. This was our first stay at Courtyard by Marriott. It was extremely nice and clean. We especially liked the layout of the hotel and rooms. The rooms were spacious. The beds were comfortable, giving us a good night's sleep. We were greeted with two bottles of water and the famous Charleston Chews sitting on the desk as we entered the door. A small gesture goes a long...
Would like to give Mrs Ursula (head of house keeping) big ups and a big Thank You!! She went out of her way for three guys in town on a fishing trip. We were a little cramped in the room we reserved, she noticed and tried to upgrade us w/o hesitation but no luck. She did bring in a roll away cot and left us a nice surprise in the fridge. I did not get to thank her on the way out so thank you! The...
This hotel is one of the better more reasonably priced hotels we've stayed at in Charleston. It's 5 minutes away from downtown by car and about 35-40 minutes walking at a strolling pace. The hotel is newly updated, clean, and unique. Great for a overnight stay. I wouldnt say it's the place to stay on a honeymoon however it's perfect for a fun weekend stay. No continental breakfast, but they have a...
Wow! This hotel is amazing. Gorgeous views, amazing and large balconies, a really nice outdoor space where you can watch the boats or just sit and talk. I loved it. The bistro is nice, too, and the staff of friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
