We felt right at home. We booked a car to a lot of places and each time there was fresh water bottles for us inside. Also, every night they knocked to ask if we needed ice or more water. The abundant free water is a HUGE perk. We also loved the staff who were very friendly and happy to help. the bed was very comfortable and clean and bathroom was very modern and spacious.

This is a very stylish hotel! The rooms are very clean and nice and the staff is very attentive. But not everything is great. The lobby has perfume that's frankly overwhelming, breakfast is expensive, and I hated how close the king bed was to the desk. You got maybe 2 feet but I kept hitting my legs on the corners. We had a great experience our family took our first vacation and drove 14 hours. From the time we got to the resort the staff was amazing my son received a cute turtle and he was so excited since his birthday was the next day. He was so happy! The resort is nice but is limited on food choices. There are 3 bars on the property and one restaurant with limited choices of options. I recommend you rent a vehicle so that you can leave. This was an adorable hotel with great service. The room was fairly small, but comfortable and the bed was nice as well. There was something a bit off about the television. The hotel was phenomenal. The staff at the hotel were extremely accommodating. My wife and I are expecting twin girls, and the staff was very accommodating with a room that had a refrigerator. Just got back from three wonderful nights at the Mill House Grand..and "Grand" it is...we used one day to drive into Savannah and back because of the short distance. It was nice to have a valet park your car after a long day of sightseeing.. Every thing was perfect. Quality hotel experience in a good location. The rooms were of good size, but the bathrooms we're not laid out as efficiently as many of the Marriott properties we have stayed in. Nice hotel located at the north end of the historic district. The free Shuttle bus stops in front of the hotel, but it's easy walking for most of the downtown. Pour, their rooftop bar is awesome for drinks and views.

Have stayed there before. Nice rooms, very clean and the staff very helpful. As expected prices are a bit high however you are in downtown Charleston. They have a parking garage attached and provide valet parking, although you can park yourself. I think it is $7/day

The workers were all very friendly. The hotel was in good shape and the room was nice. The bathroom was clean but the shower was a bit disgusting. It was a fully tiled shower (floor and walls). The grout in the floor tile was white around the edges and brownish in the center. The floor was not sloped properly and because of this water pooled in the one corner about half an inch deep.

Always extremely clean! We had breakfast added to our room price. The buffet was very good. Enough variety for someone who has picky tastes . It’s very relaxing to sit at any window and look out across and see the old “Cooper River Bridge”, which I ran once and Fort Sumter.

The hotel has been well-maintained over the years. It has been renovated and feels fairly modern. The beds are very comfortable and the staff are kind. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant that provides a lovely view of the river. The shuttle to the downtown area is a great feature. Our only complaints are that the shower didn't drain well and that a group of loud motorcyclists hung out right outside...

Nice, clean hotel in a good location. Was bummed that you couldn't actually go out on the balcony. That was the whole reason we had chosen this hotel so that we had a place to sit after our kids had gone to bed.

The Staff was wonderful. The rooms were old. The bathroom had a lot to be desired. The pool wasn't filled. The shuttle to downtown was very convenient. I wouldn't not suggest this hotel. And I have stayed at many Holiday Inns.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Facility fairly clean- took a star off for the minor damage and out datedness of the room.

Excellent location but this place is all about the staff. I stayed on my own on the 24th February nothing was too much trouble the staff were friendly and happy and nothing was nothing was too much trouble. They had good local knowledge. The hotel was clean would love to go back soon. K x

Great location, clean rooms, might need a little attentions on the bathrooms ( wheb we arrived it was not really greatly clean). Love the staff, really helpful. Downside no private parking lot, so if you stay for a long period of time that may be expensive.

No mini fridge in the room and there was a strange LOUD noise that occurred every few minutes in the morning (maybe from construction?). But overall, a nice stay and a great location. Very friendly staff. Parking garage is nice too

Check in and check out was so easy and everyone was so cordial and courteous. Even the gentleman who drove the shuttle to downtown Charleston was incredibly accomodating! This hotel is one of the better more reasonably priced hotels we've stayed at in Charleston. It's 5 minutes away from downtown by car and about 35-40 minutes walking at a strolling pace. Wow! This hotel is amazing. Gorgeous views, amazing and large balconies, a really nice outdoor space where you can watch the boats or just sit and talk. I loved it. The bistro is nice, too, and the staff of friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
