The hotel was great and the staff were really good. My room was very nice with a comfortable bed. The pool looked lovely and the outside area was good to sit in. Having a coffee bar was great in the morning.
Beautiful lobby........nice bar (both rooftop and inside). Delicious and healthy food options in restaurant. Rooms are a little small but beds super comfortable! Staff nice and informative. A short Uber ride away from downtown if you are not walkers like my husband and I.........enjoyed the stay!
Needs updating, but the view is tremendous and the people are very nice. The van goes to the historic area, which is amazing. The view from the Penthouse level shows all the water around the peninsula. Currently, there's a lot of construction going on, so you might find it annoying or entertaining. The "Rooftop" bar is on the third floor, but has great views of the water and the construction is on...
I would have given a 4 1/2 star but that was not an option. The hotel was nice and clean. Everything was great with the exception of their mobile check in and request. I attempted check in using the mobile app and it didn't work. Also, when I requested some items via the mobile chat and there was a delay with staff. I called the assistance line and no one picked up. I ended up stopping staff in the...
I found every aspect of my stay outstanding. I was traveling by myself, but because of the staff, I never felt alone. The front desk acknowledged me by name every time I passed through the lobby and always asked if they could do anything for me. The decor is bright and upscale. The bar and restaurant created a welcoming vibe. My room was immaculate and comfy. The concierge floor is the way to...
Fine, established hotel near the harbor. Southern gentility abounds from the front desk, maids, support staff, bars and restaurants. Although there was much heavy construction nearby, noise didn't start until about 7 am. Breakfast in the Concierge Suite for frequent Marriott travelers was disappointing as it featured "rubbery," overcooked scrambled eggs. Although the hotel is older, it was in reasonably...

I absolutely loved everything about my stay in this hotel! The room & amenities were top notch, the fitness center was amazing and the customer service was impeccable. Kelly the bartender was the best, along with Becca & Neida being fantastic servers too. This will definitely be my preferred choice of hotels to stay in next time I visit Charleston! Thank you for an amazing experience 💜
My daughter and I had an incredible experience at this hotel, huge thanks to Maria, the front desk associate. She was very friendly, accommodating, and offered different options. She went above and beyond to make our stay special and it truly is an experience. She asked what was my daughter's favorite color and later at evening asked her to look outside, the whole hotel was glowing pink! My daughter...
Our stay here at the North Charleston Marriott was amazing! Shannon made sure we were well taken care of. We stopped in for a same day reservation and Shannon not only greeted us but made sure we felt at ease that they had room for us. Her hospitality was second to none and I can't say enough how she made our stay here in Charleston that much more pleasant. We recommend anyone stay here!
This is a top-tier Marriott! Latricia at the front desk is a gem and gave us the warmest of welcomes. The property is freshly-renovated and the rooms were smartly designed, comfortable and quiet. In particular the beds and showers were sublime and as we were here for a concert, the blackout curtains and comfortable accommodations ensured we could rest up. The rooms were also spotlessly clean and housekeepers...
The customer service at this hotel is amazing!! I had reached out via chat for random requests and my questions were answered quickly and kindly. When we arrived to the airport Troy picked us up-along with a TON of luggage. He was super friendly and loaded us all in the shuttle. He gave tons of recommendations for things to do and was really kind. The ladies checking us in were awesome. Shannon, Maria...
This is a very stylish hotel! The rooms are very clean and nice and the staff is very attentive. But not everything is great. The lobby has perfume that's frankly overwhelming, breakfast is expensive, and I hated how close the king bed was to the desk. You got maybe 2 feet but I kept hitting my legs on the corners. Still, it's a good hotel that if stay at again.

Just had the honour of meeting Barbara at night check in. Such a friendly lady who went out of her way to fulfill my requests. Rooms are modern spacious and has everything you need. Bed is comfortable 5 Stars
Room and bathroom were dated but clean. Good AC that kept the room cool. The shuttle driver was professional and got us to the airport quickly and safely.
Hotel was fine for a 2 night stay. Got in after midnight and location close to the airport makes it really nice, only about 45 minutes from touchdown to getting in bed. Was waiting for the elevator after arriving and a giant roach crawled out of the elevator frame. Didn’t have issues with bugs anywhere else though. Breakfast was good, especially the citrus-peach juice. Room was very nice and the bed...
The staff is professional and polite. We arrived at the airport, but the shuttle had a delay. So, after 3 calls, we got a taxi and requested a reimbursement from the staff. So that turned out well. The location is good. Uber is a little pricey, but that's not an issue caused by the hotel. Getting into downtown is easy. The room is fine. You can grab groceries, clothes, etc. At the shopping area ....
The rooms were a bit snug, but well appointed. The staff was friendly, professional and accommodating. The pool was nice, if a bit cold, during our visit. The hotel is very close to the convention center, and fairly centrally located to Charleston, Mt. Pleasant and Folly Beach
The staff here was very pleasant and friendly. We arrived about 20 minutes prior to checking (who would have thought it wasn't until 4PM since most are 3PM?). The staff worked to get us a room quickly and even honored my HHonors room preference of being close to an elevator. The room was nicely appointed and clean. It had a microwave and a refrigerator (only issue was I had to turn on the unit to and...

the lovely and friendly staff, the clean and spacious bedroom, the location and the housekeeping every day!
Nice hotel located at the north end of the historic district. The free Shuttle bus stops in front of the hotel, but it's easy walking for most of the downtown. Pour, their rooftop bar is awesome for drinks and views.
Location, location, location! Very nice hotel close to everything downtown. Staff was very friendly and the hotel sits back from King Street a boy so the street noise was not too bad. Will definitely stay again.
Have stayed there before. Nice rooms, very clean and the staff very helpful. As expected prices are a bit high however you are in downtown Charleston. They have a parking garage attached and provide valet parking, although you can park yourself. I think it is $7/day
The workers were all very friendly. The hotel was in good shape and the room was nice. The bathroom was clean but the shower was a bit disgusting. It was a fully tiled shower (floor and walls). The grout in the floor tile was white around the edges and brownish in the center. The floor was not sloped properly and because of this water pooled in the one corner about half an inch deep.
5 star Close to historic Charleston. Solid hotel. Late check out time! Complimentary breakfast until 10. Not 10:10 unless you're friends with staff... saw numerous customers leaving with to-go boxes stuffed. Generously sized room, updated and clean. Recommended for this price point. Update: from 5 to 4 star Parking is NOT complementary. Wasn't metioned during check-in. Communication would...

They offer a great breakfast buffet or you can order off a menu. Servers are very friendly and do a great job. We feel John and Joe go out of their way to make us feel welcomed and happy. Definitely worth a try!
Always extremely clean! We had breakfast added to our room price. The buffet was very good. Enough variety for someone who has picky tastes . It’s very relaxing to sit at any window and look out across and see the old “Cooper River Bridge”, which I ran once and Fort Sumter.
The hotel has been well-maintained over the years. It has been renovated and feels fairly modern. The beds are very comfortable and the staff are kind. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant that provides a lovely view of the river. The shuttle to the downtown area is a great feature. Our only complaints are that the shower didn't drain well and that a group of loud motorcyclists hung out right outside...
Nice, clean hotel in a good location. Was bummed that you couldn't actually go out on the balcony. That was the whole reason we had chosen this hotel so that we had a place to sit after our kids had gone to bed.
The Staff was wonderful. The rooms were old. The bathroom had a lot to be desired. The pool wasn't filled. The shuttle to downtown was very convenient. I wouldn't not suggest this hotel. And I have stayed at many Holiday Inns.
The staff is so friendly and helpful. Breakfast was wonderful. Facility fairly clean- took a star off for the minor damage and out datedness of the room.

Stayed Aug 1st, 2023. I’m a return guest largely in part based on this location’s outstanding customer service. Once again, they did not disappoint. Front desk agent Miss Marilyn was so kind and friendly, she instantly brought a smile to my face after a long and tiring journey. She was professional, thorough and very efficient. I’m hoping management reviews this for a well deserved “pat on the back...
When we were looking at different hotels and their amenities in the area, this one stood out the most. This includes the great reviews that were listed online. The biggest point for us to stay here was that it had the indoor pool and jacuzzi. This was for the kids' mini vacation. When we got into the pool, it was very cold. With it being an indoor pool, we assumed it would have been heated. Now it...
The hotel is great and the staff is wonderful, I would stay here without any hesitation. However, being a Diamond member the Garden Inn was a hotel where I could get a better breakfast service complimentary cooked to order, with the new credit vouchers this is no longer the case. Excellent location but this place is all about the staff. I stayed on my own on the 24th February nothing was too much trouble the staff were friendly and happy and nothing was nothing was too much trouble. They had good local knowledge. The hotel was clean would love to go back soon. K x
Great location, clean rooms, might need a little attentions on the bathrooms ( wheb we arrived it was not really greatly clean). Love the staff, really helpful. Downside no private parking lot, so if you stay for a long period of time that may be expensive.
No mini fridge in the room and there was a strange LOUD noise that occurred every few minutes in the morning (maybe from construction?). But overall, a nice stay and a great location. Very friendly staff. Parking garage is nice too
Very pleasant employees and super clean. Had a glitch w/ heat/ac but they fixed it asap. Only complaint was no soap dish on bathroom counter so that's pretty good.
Stayed here a couple times and really liked it. Staff are extremely friendly, and has a great breakfast buffet. Rooms are nice and pool is pretty good. Easy parking, though not all that close to town.

The Location was great!! The shuttle that took us to town was amazing and the drivers (Dean and Eddie) were awesome!!
Check in and check out was so easy and everyone was so cordial and courteous. Even the gentleman who drove the shuttle to downtown Charleston was incredibly accomodating! Our room was clean and comfortable and the hotel staff on the floors were helpful, also. The young lady who checked us out was so bubbly and vivacious!! We definitely will return!!
We stay in Charleston frequently. This was our first stay at Courtyard by Marriott. It was extremely nice and clean. We especially liked the layout of the hotel and rooms. The rooms were spacious. The beds were comfortable, giving us a good night's sleep. We were greeted with two bottles of water and the famous Charleston Chews sitting on the desk as we entered the door. A small gesture goes a long...
Would like to give Mrs Ursula (head of house keeping) big ups and a big Thank You!! She went out of her way for three guys in town on a fishing trip. We were a little cramped in the room we reserved, she noticed and tried to upgrade us w/o hesitation but no luck. She did bring in a roll away cot and left us a nice surprise in the fridge. I did not get to thank her on the way out so thank you! The...
This hotel is one of the better more reasonably priced hotels we've stayed at in Charleston. It's 5 minutes away from downtown by car and about 35-40 minutes walking at a strolling pace. The hotel is newly updated, clean, and unique. Great for a overnight stay. I wouldnt say it's the place to stay on a honeymoon however it's perfect for a fun weekend stay. No continental breakfast, but they have a...

Beautifully decorated, immaculately clean hotel. It's close to everything, within walking distance to the historic market, shops and tons of restaurants. The only downside I see is the price of parking $37 daily for valet, no self parking but you do have unlimited in/out privileges. Also, there is no breakfast included and the selections at the Starbucks Bistro are pricey. In my opinion, it's worth...
Basically what you'd expect from this level Marriott. Comfy beds, good linen, large rooms. A bit bummed about the lack of microwave, and the fact that the bathroom didn't have a fan -- that was just weird. There's also no stairs leading up to the rooms from the lobby, which can be inconvenient.
It's a Courtyard, so no full menu restaurant or shop. That noted, I give it 5 stars for a hotel in its class - Great hotel. Great people. Great location.
Very nice. Staff super helpful. Only complaint is there needs to be more than 1 hook in the bathroom for towels which I am happy to hang to conserve H2O but I can hang more than 1.
I'm a long time Marriott devotee and this hotel definitely lived up to my standards. What stood out above all else was the high level of customer service from everyone I encountered. When I came to check in, they had a room ready for me, but I had to be difficult and request a room on a higher floor because I'm a girl who loves a view. The hotel is nice enough but it is ready for an update. I understand it is in historic Charleston but that's not an excuse to not update the carpets. The staff are super friendly and the location is fantastic. The price per night is a bit steep for what you get but it is a prime Charleston location.
Hotel has lots of history. Citadel from long ago. First floor rooms seem to be a little larger than upper floors. Staff is very friendly, willing to help. Breakfast was great, eggs cooked to order. Bar in evening was good. Lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance.
This place is so cool. It is a nice place. The rooms are spacious and you get free drinks. Also, you get food at a time when everyone needs a place to relax after a day that you walk around the city. It has a pool and all the stuff you need. I am very satisfied. 5 stars
This hotel is really unique and its historic nature as a former barracks is really quite awesome. The staff that work here are very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable. I love how eager they are to help, really great attitudes, a real standard for how hotels staff should be. The room had a lot of historical quality from its former days. The place is laid out like a fort. I really awesome authentic...
Nice hotel overall, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Valet parking guys were super nice as was all the staff I encounter. But the double bedroom in the suite is much smaller than pictures led you to believe. Both beds were pushed up against walls, no walking space at all for those sides and no space to move them. There is no closet, so only an armoire to hang clothes and very little extra space...
This hotel has charm and history. I think they should make some of that history available. The service staff was great. Very clean and friendly. The rooms need some updating, though. Overall the hotel amenities were clean and in good shape, the pool area is very nice (though I didn't use it) and the staff helpful (for example, I ran out of toothpaste and they kindly provided some sachets). Location is great if you have a car, and manageable via uber ($10 to town, so still a big cost saving over 3 days vs staying downtown).
I am here regularly, about once a month, and am always impressed with the professionalism and helpfulness displayed by staff. They go out of their way to help and offer extras that I dont even realize I need - such as surge protectors in the meetings room. Everyone is pleasant to deal with, always smiling, and the facilities are always perfect
I've stayed here in the past. It's slipping. Might be time to redo the bathrooms. Staff at the front desk is awesomely friendly. Housekeeping didn't bother with our room one day. Breakfast is actually pretty good too.
I work in the town, and am inside of the business frequently. I absolutely love the front of the house staff. Ms. Angela, Ms. Juanita, and Ms. Janice always make me feel welcomed and at home. The interior is beautiful and the hotel itself represents quality. I will always choose this hotel over others in the area. -Logan
Great hotel! It's centrally located and is a quick drive from historic Charleston, Sullivan's Island, and Patriot's Point. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Our room was clean, updated, and well cared for. If I could, I would give the hotel a 4.5 star rating. Our room was not cleaned one day, so we had full trash cans and needed to get fresh towels and more toilet paper (yikes!) from the front desk...
We were visiting Charleston for a few days in mid-March, and chose this place because it was a better deal than staying downtown. Pretty nice. As a local I just used it as a one day get away from daily life. If I was visiting I'd try and stay a little closer to downtown. This hotel is definitely not in walking distance to any of our beloved historic downtown Charleston.
I have stayed in a lot of hotels , this was a great stay. Donna ( i think that was her name ) WAS THE HAPPIEST PERSON I HAVE EVER MET. She made every morning great , and when she worked the mixer at night that was awesome . I can't wait to come back in June to stay here again. The hotel staff were always pleasant. Room was always clean. even folded my PJ'S . Again what a great stay i can't say enough...
The room was clean and the Furnishings were nice. Beds were comfortable, kitchen cabinets were full of any dish glass pot or pan you might need, but there was simply no food in them! Hahaha. Quick check in quick check out we were very happy.
We stayed in this hotel for a hockey tournament and was very pleased. The kitchen area was very nice and had all we needed to prepare meals. The room was a nice size and clean.
Within 6 minutes of downtown Charleston and quite easy to get to. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel does allow pets on one side of the hotel. We could not hear them from our room. Suite accommodations provide ample space for couples or families. There is a small market in the lobby that has spirits, snacks and food. They do have a nice breakfast buffet for guests.

I have stayed at other Hyatt hotels, and this did not come up to the standard of other Hyatt. The rooms were too carmpy where the others were more spacious.
It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location. They have a decent free breakfast, but no free coffee once breakfast is over. Tv is in a pretty rough location for the two beds. But overall, a really fine stay.
The hotel was nice. But I have 2 complaints with my room (207), the thermostat had a motion or light sensor so it would turn off if I wasn't in the room. Which meant it got hot while I wasn't there. The shower was nice but the water pressure was weak and the temperature was impossible to set. It was either scolding hot, hot, or off. The elevators were really slow, sometimes faster to use the stairs...
It took quite a bit of time for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport even though we called ahead. We booked a double queen room and were told once we got to the hotel that they were all booked and we could take a king with a double pull out. That was frustrating. We were able to move to a double queen for our second night. The rooms are set up so that the bathrooms include just the tub and toilet...
Decent room, being close to the airport is not my favored location. Breakfast was fairly standard. Unfortunately they also lock down the TV inputs so you cannot use a person device like Google TV. One set of the stairs was blocked for painting, which seems a bit of a hazard, and something that should be easy enough to make happen quickly.
This was by far one of the best hotel stays that I've ever had. The staff were great and welcoming, the amenities were perfect, breakfast was great, and the hotel was very clean. We went for a family vacation, and even though it was cold, the hotel made our trip that much more enjoyable.

Good location. Three stars cause they do not have free breakfast or a pool like other suites. Bed was comfortable but the wall unit was in the sitting area so the bedroom was a little hot.
Nice place walking distance to the mall and movie theater and Hooters and other great restaurants and places
Very nice. Only the loud ac and refrigarater disturb little bit. Good is the kitchen, fitness room, small intern shop and especially the priceless use of laudry (washing and dryiermashine)

Very nice hotel, staff was very accommodating, breakfast area is very, very busy but they have multiple employees on hand to help serve everyone. Parking is horrible if you get in late there are not enough spaces available but they do have available overflow parking in a different lot. Overall a very nice hotel
Great hotel. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Several places to eat in walking distance. Continental breakfast was impressive, very good. The 2 beds in our room were small though. Instead of 2 queen beds, they were more like double beds. Just keep that in mind. Otherwise, we really enjoyed it.

We stayed at Hampton Inn Charleston/Mt. Pleasant-Patriots Point recently while visiting the Charleston area. This hotel has a lot going for it. First, the rooms were clean and comfortable. This hotel is conveniently located close to two major intersections, yet it is tucked away & quiet. The outside appearance is much grander than you expect for a Courtyard. This was the hotel that we chose to have our room blocks at for our wedding in Mount Pleasant in April. It has a beautiful lobby and a fantastic gathering space in the Court Yard for large groups.
