Shuttle bus was great and staff very helpful. Restaurant food excellent.

They offer a great breakfast buffet or you can order off a menu. Servers are very friendly and do a great job. We feel John and Joe go out of their way to make us feel welcomed and happy. Definitely worth a try!

Always extremely clean! We had breakfast added to our room price. The buffet was very good. Enough variety for someone who has picky tastes . It’s very relaxing to sit at any window and look out across and see the old “Cooper River Bridge”, which I ran once and Fort Sumter.

The hotel has been well-maintained over the years. It has been renovated and feels fairly modern. The beds are very comfortable and the staff are kind. We enjoyed the rooftop restaurant that provides a lovely view of the river. The shuttle to the downtown area is a great feature. Nice, clean hotel in a good location. Was bummed that you couldn't actually go out on the balcony. That was the whole reason we had chosen this hotel so that we had a place to sit after our kids had gone to bed.

The Staff was wonderful. The rooms were old. The bathroom had a lot to be desired. The pool wasn't filled. The shuttle to downtown was very convenient. I wouldn't not suggest this hotel. And I have stayed at many Holiday Inns.

Excellent hotel, location, customer service! Ashley provided amazing customer service to us. They really do a great job of making you feel like you’re a VIP guest. Some of y’all had me scared I was about to stay in a nasty, rundown Hampton. We walked in and checked in easily with Matt. Standards have lowered as with most everything in society. Really it’s all to be expected. Years ago Hilton and Sheraton were considered high end hotels .. not anymore. The hotel is nice enough but it is ready for an update. I understand it is in historic Charleston but that's not an excuse to not update the carpets. The staff are super friendly and the location is fantastic. The price per night is a bit steep for what you get but it is a prime Charleston location.

Hotel has lots of history. Citadel from long ago. First floor rooms seem to be a little larger than upper floors. Staff is very friendly, willing to help. Breakfast was great, eggs cooked to order. Bar in evening was good. Lots of good restaurants and bars within walking distance.

This place is so cool. It is a nice place. The rooms are spacious and you get free drinks. Also, you get food at a time when everyone needs a place to relax after a day that you walk around the city. It has a pool and all the stuff you need. I am very satisfied. 5 stars

Nice hotel overall, clean and quiet. Breakfast was good. Valet parking guys were super nice as was all the staff I encounter. But the double bedroom in the suite is much smaller than pictures led you to believe. Both beds were pushed up against walls, no walking space at all for those sides and no space to move them. I have stayed at other Hyatt hotels, and this did not come up to the standard of other Hyatt. The rooms were too carmpy where the others were more spacious.

It’s a beautiful hotel in a great location. They have a decent free breakfast, but no free coffee once breakfast is over. Tv is in a pretty rough location for the two beds. But overall, a really fine stay.

The hotel was nice. But I have 2 complaints with my room (207), the thermostat had a motion or light sensor so it would turn off if I wasn't in the room. Which meant it got hot while I wasn't there. The shower was nice but the water pressure was weak and the temperature was impossible to set. It was either scolding hot, hot, or off. It took quite a bit of time for the shuttle to pick us up from the airport even though we called ahead. We booked a double queen room and were told once we got to the hotel that they were all booked and we could take a king with a double pull out. That was frustrating. Decent room, being close to the airport is not my favored location. Breakfast was fairly standard. Unfortunately they also lock down the TV inputs so you cannot use a person device like Google TV. One set of the stairs was blocked for painting, which seems a bit of a hazard, and something that should be easy enough to make happen quickly.

This was by far one of the best hotel stays that I've ever had. The staff were great and welcoming, the amenities were perfect, breakfast was great, and the hotel was very clean. We went for a family vacation, and even though it was cold, the hotel made our trip that much more enjoyable.

Oh wow ! My family and I recently stayed at the Candlewood and it was fantastic ! The entire staff was really nice and accommodating, their suites are clean , spacious and family friendly. It’s like a home away from home . It’s conveniently located near Walmart, Dillards , Dollar Tree and others , yet the property is safe and quiet. We would definitely stay there again.

Has to be one of our worst stays Our room had a weird smell, it was dated and it wasn’t very clean. I had to purchase room spray from Burlingtons next door. The staff was really nice, my room was cleaned by Jennifer upon arrival and she did a fantastic job. The rooms were spacious and roomy it was very comfortable. I would stay there again.

I'm impressed. For an extended stay hotel, the rooms are nice and spacious, the staff is very friendly and helpful, Plus they treat you like family. The pluses outweigh any of the negatives.

Average hotel. It’s currently under construction so no access to pool. Elevators are a little creepy and scary. Room was average. Hot water took forever to warm up.

Staybridge Mount Pleasant is the perfect location in Mount Pleasant! 10-15 minutes to IOP, 7ish to Sullivans Island and a couple to Patriots Point. Great hotel. Super clean, the. Staff was excellent, friendly and caring.. The breakfast was great, hot buffet, plenty of fresh fruit, muffins, coffee, and waffle maker.
